Processing my order was a little slow, but shipping was super fast! Books in great shape and cheaper than many other places. I would recommend buying from them and will definitely order again.

Would have preferred smaller packaging for these two small books. Also found it difficult to use the 'open here' pull tab, didn't work and had to rip the whole box open by hand.

I've been a customer over the past 10 years and for the most part the offerings are good value for decent books. Just recently I placed an order which somehow was mixed up with a someone else's order and I received 4 novels that would have been of interest to a teen… This is a rare event (first time in 10yrs for me) but I was really looking forward to a couple of the items that were available in limited stock. By the time the shipment arrived (with someone else's order) they were sold out. Customer service immediately refunded my money with an apology…. Subsequently, the other two books in my order were sent to me as compensation for the botched order. I'd say that was an appropriate response and was grateful for the gesture.
Only 4 stars because sometimes (not often, but occasionally and once with an expensive $50 book) the condition of the books are pretty rough… I've received slashed covers, torn pages and heavily worn spines.
In general though, the books are good value for money and the selection is mostly very good…

I was looking for one specific book but ended up ordering many more. Really great titles and too good to miss. Ordering was easy and delivery, prompt. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

I purchase lots of books and Book Outlet is my absolute favourite place to buy from. They have great prices. Fast shipping and the books are always in amazing condition when they arrive!

This was my third order from Book Outlet. All three orders were packed without any sort of filler, meaning the books could move freely during shipment. One paperback in this order arrived with a fold crease down the length of the back cover which had been flattened out at some point. Another paperback arrived with a third book wedged inside the pages; several pages on the top and bottom fore edge and the cover were bent and creased at those points. The damage was severe enough that I contacted Customer Service and submitted photos. A replacement arrived in the mail about a week later.

While I know Book Outlet sells remainders, I did not realize it sells damaged copies without describing them as being damaged. I'm unhappy about the haphazard packing so books which were presumably in good condition may arrive damaged. On the whole, I prefer to shop from used book dealers because they accurately describe the condition of a book and pack with care to ensure the book arrives in the condition at which it was sold.

I love her! So I chose 2 books
When they arrived, much to my dismay they were both autobiographical, not cookbooks. Should have read the description but in my defence, I did narrow my search to cookbooks

I am always Leary of buying books online. You end up with a tear or imperfection so you can't give the book as a gift. These books were perfect and still on the original manufacturer's shrink wrap.

I love to shop at book outlet because it is easy to find what you are looking for... and the prices are really hard to beat... even on quite new books sometimes... fast shipping and well packaged...

Wish I had realized my caa membership gave me something. Didn't see any mention. But I do check you out first when buying a book. Wish I could pick up at the store like I used to.

The order, purchase and delivery were great. A couple of the book covers were damaged due to either packaging or handling which was a bit disappointing.

The selection was excellent, prices are fantastic and I got my entire order within a week - the week after Black Friday no less! Incredibly satisfied and will definitely be back for more!

My books arrived on time and were priced well. I was a little disappointed that one book had a piece of the cover cut off but it doesn't affect reading the book.

It was very easy to navigate the website and they had a great selection of books. The prices were fantastic and my order arrived quickly and we'll packaged.

Order graphic novels, come with a black line which is fine. Wait for a sale, don't pay their full price. Delivery is solid, check stock regularly
