The saga continues as boomblasters.com refuses to provide a working product or a refund. Even with the issue being escalated through PayPal, they are insistent that I must pay to ship the defective item back to them. The item was less than $80 and they have chosen to battle providing the basic customer service that anyone would expect. They are fundamentally wrong and completely awful to deal with. I had to waste more of my time today to escalate this further with PayPal. I also filed a disputed with my bank. This awful company has drug this out so long, more than 30 days, that I'm not sure the dispute can be filed with the bank but I filed the dispute anyway.
All I expected was a functional product, some attempt at a replacement and lacking that a full refund.

I purchased the boomblaster 4 programable sounds horn about 6 weeks ago. The first problem was a broken remote. It took about 2 weeks to get a replacement and hours of my time as they are very unresponsive and ask you to try something new every few days which is really just meant to run you in circles. When that broken remote was finally replaced I could try finally try the horn. The device is really simple and just plays 4 different MP3's so there's almost nothing to troubleshoot. The horn is alo defective but at least I have a remote that seems to work if all you want is to see an LED on a remote and a broken horn. The company had me jump through a series of hoops to try getting the defective device to work. I cooperated and tried everything they suggested and nothing worked as the item was DOA on arrival. After none of the things they asked me to try worked, I asked they send a replacement or send a return label and simply refund the purchase. They responded by saying I must pay to return the defective item. I've wasted hours of my time over a 5-6 week period and the company insists on being idiots. I had to file a claim with PayPal. Now they are fighting that claim and sent a PDF through PayPal explaining I must pay to return the defective item. IDIOTS! Sending a PDF that officially states their policy is to be idiots and requires the customer to pay to return a defective item while they take a couple of additional weeks to determine if they think it's defective or not is really annoying. The item was about $80 and most people wouldn't waste their time but I would spend many times that amount on principal to warn other to stay clear of this company so they don't waste your time and money. Their website is glowing with 100% positive reviews. Read the reviews yourself and you will very clearly they wrote the reviews themselves as the product is garbage, the service is a joke and meant to make you just go away. The reviews read in such a glowing way you would think they cured cancer. My posting a review on their site is not possible as they don't want real reviews. AVOID this company and save your money and time.
Ordered 3 horns, they shipped the order to wrong country and the support is not responding at all after initial contact when I explained them what they did.
These yahoos charged nearly $50 for a horn that's not even weatherproof! WHERE ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KEEP IT? IN THE GLOVE BOX? Then to add to the fun, they refuse to acknowledge my correspondence asking for REAL horn or my $$$ back. They'll have to answer to a higher power for screwing me over

Their instructions say, " Remember our horns are NOT waterproof, so be sure to mount them in a dry location." REMEMBER??? YOU NEVER SAID IN THE BEGINNING OR I WOULDN'T HAVE WASTED MY $$
Trevor was extremely rude to me, and made fun of me when I asked for help via their customer service channels.
