Get that US DOT# and the Certification of Filing to include a multitude of checkoffs first before you buy a trailer and tractor. In my case i will be tanking and dry van but thr private insurance will be a price to chew. I travel around to find the trucking spots where used tractors are located and trailers. There are deals onground just as well online like this site. I actually used the passenger side of it a few times and came out with pretty good deals. I had an Oldsmobile i bought from here that was in pretty pristine condition except for the motor was not running. Had it towed from one county to another just figure it all it needed was a battery! And it was a limited edition hardtop. So what i am saying you never know what you might find when going through and shopping and this time got my diesel mechanic back with me. Saw him a couple days ago when i was passing through former homestate at a truck stop. He asked me was i ready to switch over from dry van to tanking cause its dangerous and i said yes indeed. Gave each other daps and his family waved goodbye as i did too and we said "lets get rich and do the right thing by it man" and he said "you know im down". So i got my temporary diesel mechanic for now and i feel safe to proceed with the paperwork and buying of my rigs. Only one of course cause i got family to talk too this summer coming about a DPO proposal with powerpoint slides and booklets. LEADERSHIP. Peace in.
