Boots are very reliable and provide great customer service. I've ordered from them on numerous occasions. On one order a parcel went 'missing', or so the courier claimed. Boots were very apologetic and sent a replacement straight away! I really recommend they change their courier service though.
Boots Boots Boots...the new low they strive to sink to is never ending...bought a mascara for my wife which was placed in the wrong location and ended up with the wrong colour. Tried to exchange it at the abysmal store in Kingston Park, Newcastle but apparently on the back of the receipt, that is after you buy the product, it says make up is not returnable...how many of us read the back of the reciept after purchase. Called 'customer care' and they are just as useless as the store. Absolute and utter disgrace. Tried to call the store manager but the store phone number asks you to go to the national 'customer care'...absolute disgrace which proves why we abandon physical stores...and soon Boots

Where so I begin?
1. Impossible to amend delivery pre paid date few min after you made an order. Boots still lives in 90s not 2023 when you can change your order date. Even with Royal Mail you can…
2. Super bad and constantly crashing app that does not ever work
3. Customer service with zero empathy and readiness to help
Echinacea is a winner, I don't like pills and a colleague suggested I tried this as I had two colds in as many months and its a liquid format. I started taking this each day over the past month and I do feel like I am improving. It also tastes quite good. One side effect I am not complaining at is I do not have an appetite its almost as if the Echinacea is a form of appetite suppressant. I am not complaining as this is a good part for me as I also have an under active thyroid and weight is a constant problem. I give Echinacea a big thumbs up.
I ordered online for click and collect and was shown my closest store and days I could collect. Turns out that store is closed and there was apparently no way to change or cancel the order.
Placed an order for a little under £300 worth of goods
Was told all bar one item was posted under a particular tracking number
Parcel with that number arrived - it had three bottles of shampoo in it and nothing else
Used their Virtual Assistant, it told me to wait until the other parcel with the last item arrived, in case the rest of my order was in there
Second parcel arrived, it only contained one item
Contacted Boots customer care to ask when I could expect the rest of my order
Boots customer care advised that they would take up to 21 days to carry out an "investigation" before they decided whether or not to "authorize" giving me either the items I'd paid for, or a refund
Now I'm out almost £300, Boots is holding onto my money, and their lack of a timely a d reasonable response means I don't even have the funds to go elsewhere to get what I need
Fortunately I did pay by credit card and as it was over £100, I'm covered by Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act
I will not be using Boots again, and strongly recommend other customers avoid this untrustworthy, unreliable company
Site is ok but the search option is very poor.
Please could you also offer online meds to your customers as Lloyds do.
Deliveries have been quite slow, and have also made a couple of packing mistakes on my orders.
Boots (www.boots.com) Cheapest Electrical Goods in UK?
Boots is the largest chain of British pharmacy and health stores. Its presence on every major High Street reassures parents and provides a reliable source of over-the-counter-medicines, prescription drugs and cosmetics.
What surprised me was finding out that they also had an online business selling electrical goods and kitchen equipment. Our dishwasher had died and after some research we decided to buy a Bosch. The cheapest price available was online from Boots.com http://www.boots.com/en/Electrical/Boots-Kitchen-Appliances/
There is a downside – you have to phone in the order and fight on the phone not to finance the deal or have an extra monthly 'everlasting replacement insurance' added to the bill. It took 10 minutes of heated arguing to tell the bloke that 'NO I DID NOT WANT THAT!' (If you did the maths you were buying a new machine every 3 or 4 years and a dishwasher usually lasts nearer to 10) Besides, Bosch already offer a 2 year guarantee.
Finally he gave up and we paid by debit card and got the dishwasher of our choice delivered at the best available price and for about 10 quid extra they took the dead machine away. Great.
PS – After installation Bosch contacted us and offered an upgrade to a 5 year guarantee for 80 quid – which is tempting…
