Although I've read a lot of negative reviews about Bridgecrest, my experience has been great. For the time I had Bridgecrest, I never experienced any negative issues at all. I always kept my loan current and never heard from them unless I called regarding questions I had. They were always friendly and more than willing to help me. I did refinance with another lender only because I found a better rate. Paying off the loan went smoothly. It comes down to this, keep your loan current and you won't have to deal with anyone from Bridgecrest unless you call with questions.
Worst possible company to deal with. They have no managers allowed to assist you, leaving you to a "customer relations" line that can't do much of anything. It took weeks of calls in order to get money back that was owed to me after my insurance gave them a full payouts. They actively are rude and uncommunicative. I would avoid this company at all costs.
Bridgecrest do not report to credit bureau. Poor costumer service. Get another finance company if you are looking to improve your credit score. Bridgecrest do not report to credit bureau. Do not be fooled by their promises.
I got a car through them and was charged 3x more than the value it was my first Vehicle purchase so I didn't know what I was getting into. Couldn't access my account online cause they messed up on my information and never would fix it so I was charged extra 3 dollars ever payment for their mess up but they didn't care. To top it off I was gonna pay the pay off on it and they tried adding more to the loan then what was left owes on the car. The car has made noise under the hood since the day after I brought it home. Listen to all the reviews its 100% honest!
In a time of stress, this company only worries about you making your payments on time. There is no reason the couldn't let people put this mouthy payment at the end of there contact. I will be looking to refinance with another company right after this is over. Way to take care of yourself in a time of need and Uncertainty Brigecrest. You get an "F" in humanitie. Heartless company.
I love my dodge dart. Thank you DriveTime and Bridgecrest for uniting us together. Whenever I fall on hard times Bridgecrest is understanding and gives me as much time as I need to catch back up. When I had my first child I wasn't working so I couldn't pay for about two months. They did not tow my vehicle, instead they set up a payment plan for me to start when I went back to work. When I was unemployed for 3 weeks and got behind on payments, Bridgecrest extended my loan so I could find a job and then resume payments.
BridgeCrest is actually a great lender, but you can't be scared to call them and let them know your circumstances. They will always work with you.
Unless your a lost cause that literally ducks and dodges every payment and phone call. In that case you deserve what you get! So don't be that guy. Be an adult and pick up the phone. Any time you cant pay, get ahead of it and call them first for an extension.
Shame on you drive time. I have been a customer for 2 years and never been late ever. Because what is happining around the world coron virus my business temporarly closed because of corona virus. All of My customers are tourist from LAX airport, since temporary close i had to close my doors also. No income coming in since shut down. All i asked from your customer rep extenssion on my payments. She said no! Maybe call back on due date? Do you consider as help? All of the banks in the USA helping customers Ally bank offering extension for 120 days, wells fargo for 90 days. Bank of America 3 month and etc. Every single business in the country suffering at the moment! Shame on you!
Every since I ask for a refund for a Double payment Bridgecrest Bank is Now CLAIMING I missed a payment. The Harassment is almost unbelievable. They are Charging me an extra month of deceit. It's FALSE HARRASSMENT AND HORRIBLE. Greedy Grimy and PETTY. Absolutely No Integrity
ZERO STARS for this company! Its trash! Never trust them with your cars! All they do is take your money and wait till your almost done paying it to come pick it up for any missed payments. Their customer service is trash they are all rude, have no common sense and are just plain nasty! They do not care for any emergency or life tradegy that happens to you to cause you to fall behind. THEY HARASS YOU all day and night! Tried to come to an agreement with them when i was only working 3 days out of the week and they didn't give a $#*! about that they practically say you signed a contract now pay or we take the car. NASTY $#*! COMPANY!
Paid off my car in October 2019 and it is March 2020 no car title. Title department drop the ball for 30 days. It took a phone call to get them moving. Then they claim they sent it out to Florida but yet I called the DriveTime in Ocala Florida and they did not have it. Filled out the papers again and then I was told it was lost in the mail room. I have zero confidence in the title department at corporate in Arizona. DriveTime itself is okay but Bridgecrest title department is so incompetent.
I am never using Bridgecrest, or carvanha ever again. I financed my Ford, it's a beautiful brand new Ford, and I love it, however Bridgecrest and carvana are the worst. They disappointed me twice and I will never use from them again. First disappointment was that when I was laid off from my job during Coronavirus, they refused to help me, when Chrysler Financial deferred are payments for 2 months with no questions asked for our other car. They refuse to help me when I was never late on a payment. Secondly, when I try to make a payment, it took the wrong payment method and did not allow me to choose a new payment method, so when I call their customer service to cancel the payment and make a new payment using a different payment method, they refused. So yes, never again would carvana or Bridgecrest, for my next car I'll just get it from a local dealer
My phone number was entered in wrong a newly purposed vehicle. After 30 days on the first payment which I didn't telalzie where to pay yet, they repoed the vehicle. I'm going thru the process of getting it back now. I'm plannning on changing lenders as soon as this is over. Repo after 30 days on a new account? Wtf, bad business, use someone else.
I purchased a 2016 Hyundai SantaFe sport from their partner Drivetime. I picked the car up on a Saturday by the next Saturday the vehicle completely dead. I havent had the car 30 days and every other day it is completely dead! The vehicle is currently in the shop with no ETA, but the company will not waive a months payment or take the vehicle back. Crocks!
Laid off due to corona for over 2 months and they repoed my car and would not help me except for they wanted over 2k to get it out after talking to them 5 days before they did and wanted 800 and was 2 dollars short
Thanks
If I could go back in time I would run from them, the worse companies ever, they are full of it, they wanted to charge me $500 dollars for a late fee I had this loan for two years and never late in fact paid more then my payments each month, they said my bank sent a nsf back to them but I have $5000 in my account, so I talked to my bank and they said they never gotten any thing from them, so I call bridecrest back and told them what my bank said she said she doesn't care what they said and for me to get a prepaid card and pay my bill. If I knew what to do I would give this car back to them and tell them where to go. Don't get a loan from these cracks they don't car about customs only money.
This company wont do anything to help you. I told them I was furlowed because of COVID-19 and needed maybe 2-3 more days and i would have the money from unemployment. I had 0 income and all my bills were behind. The only offered to refinance AFTER making a payment of at least $1700, or pay off the full amount of $15k. The only thing I needed was a few days. Literally,. I got repo'd, then a $5k deposit from unemployment. Now my credit is screwed.
Bridgecrest is totally trash
I paid on time since 2018 and was behind this year because of covid.
I kept them up to date as for when I was starting back working. They didn't call or anything, they came to repo my suv. The lady said they couldn't call me because I filled bankruptcy in 2018. Even though I did not put them on the bankruptcy, I guess I should have. They are terrible. I wouldn't go back to them if they were the last company on earth.
This company is a scam. I received a car a year ago... from drivetime I attempted to pay my car payment through my bank and the local Walmart yet the charges kept being rejected with thousands in my account (for my bank card) so I went to Walmart for them to say they can't find the payment system bridgecrest uses... a rep from bridgecrest argued with the Walmart worker on my phone speaker. Fast forward 4 weeks car was repossessed from my driveway. They told me I would have to pay 20,000 to get it back. Mind you it was a 10k car with 1000 down, yes I understand interest etc but that was robbery. Lastly, they took it off my credit because it happened a month after I got the car? Yeah they got my deposit and took their car back. I paid 1000. 00 for a month then was left carless. SCAM
Can't pay my car note if I have to keep fixing on the vehicle every 2 weeks/ every month. I'm talking it's alway hundreds of dollars to be fixed and I believe they knew it was something wrong with this vehicle, I have been having issues since the 7day I got this 2013 GMC Terrain.
So you want some info on $#*!Crest. So I had a past do balance of 225 bucks. I pay the 225, I then call and confirm it's done and paid. I go to sleep wake up and my car is gone. I wake up and call these clowns and they tell me the 200 that I paid didn't go through and the account is closed smh this company is by far theee worst! I spoke to someone and told them and they even said that's $#*!ed up and that my interest is way too high. Bridge crest won't be around much longer. I will see to that.
This place will screw you financially! I had an original loan on a 2011 Kia Soul 18,000 I looked on line when I went to make a payment and all of a sudden my loan was at $27,000. No reasoning at all period! Luckily I have friends in the auto industry and they told me that was too much. Anyways getting on with it I filed Bankruptcy and guess what my Attorney will have a field day with them because last night there was a repo company my son and I got home and a tow truck backed into my place blocked in my car we hadn't even gotten out yet and some bald headed dude tried to bully me. He said I am here to repo your vehicle. I called my Attorney when I got in so she is going to the court and will have them put Bridgecrest on notice about violating the Bankruptcy law's in Texas. I don't want that crappy $#*! vehicle back but they will pay for violating the Bankruptcy paperwork! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!
This company is THE WORST! Not only do you pay 5 times what the car is worth - you will constantly be make repairs to the car they sold to you. You can't go elsewhere to get the car refinanced unless you are willing to put about 8,000 up front to pay the car down.
I had a mobile service provider (approved by Bridgecrest) to come out and service my vehicle due to error messages on the car. The wrench tech said my "Differential Clutch Pump" was bad but they reset my error code. The wrench tech said they couldn't help and I had to go to another repair shop. Bridgecrest didn't believe the wrench tech and told the new company to replicate the error (after it had been reset). They couldn't and now I have a car that is possibly broken.
The second repair company, Olathe Auto Clinic (in Kansas) is a joke and so is Bridgecrest. I will NEVER use either company again.

I have been with bridgecrest for over a year through Carvana and so far I am very pleased. I am shocked at the negative reviews and most seem to have a common theme.
For one, READ, do your RESEARCH. I understand life has situations where we have to take what we can get, but always know what you are getting into. Read reviews, make phone calls, etc.
Two, CREDIT- No matter what if your credit is not good, please stop getting upset that you have a high interest rate... and that's EVERYWHERE. You will either have a high interest rate or settle for a buy here pay here vehicle with no warranty. That's how it goes until you build credit or go to my first point, which is reading and research. I'm finding that's the bulk of these negative reviews.
Third, I have paid late a few times, none of which have been reported on my credit because I've stuck to my agreement and paid more to cover the accumulated interest.
Lastly, I just want people to understand this is business, and you're using a loan. If you don't know what you're doing, you will feel ripped off. Used cars will come with issues ultimately that's where a warranty and a backup plan come into place. There are too many people with 500 credit scores with a 800 score attitude.
The last thing I will say is to try your credit union... the process is a bit longer (that's the issue there... we don't understand that convenience comes with a price), but you find the best rates with brick and mortar institutions.
Good Luck!
They're interest is astronomical and they never respond to emails. Only use this company and Drivetime if you're desperate. It should be illegal for them to operate.
