Although I've read a lot of negative reviews about Bridgecrest, my experience has been great. For the time I had Bridgecrest, I never experienced any negative issues at all. I always kept my loan current and never heard from them unless I called regarding questions I had. They were always friendly and more than willing to help me. I did refinance with another lender only because I found a better rate. Paying off the loan went smoothly. It comes down to this, keep your loan current and you won't have to deal with anyone from Bridgecrest unless you call with questions.
Worst possible company to deal with. They have no managers allowed to assist you, leaving you to a "customer relations" line that can't do much of anything. It took weeks of calls in order to get money back that was owed to me after my insurance gave them a full payouts. They actively are rude and uncommunicative. I would avoid this company at all costs.
Called before my due date to get an extension on car loan (as ALL other places are doing this due to COVID) and was told can extend for 2 weeks. I'm in Ohio and an ind contractor so can't even file for unemployment until mid May so extending 2 weeks does nothing. My hours have been cut to virtually nothing and advised woman of that and that there was no money so that would not change in 2 weeks. I took the 2 weeks as that was my only option but no payments will be made unless a bag of money falls from the sky for me. Not helpful or accommodating at all.
I don't understand all the bad reviews Bridgecrest has always worked with me! When I became ill Bridgecrest worked with me on my payments and have continued to do so! They are the most compassionate and understanding loan company I have ever dealt with! All you have to do is call. And my car has lasted far well then any other I have purchased! Thank you Bridgecrest for being there when times were rough I wish I could give them 10 stars
It's insane reading this and seeing how many ppl are having the same problem. I put $800 down for a car had an unexpected expense come up so I made my first payment late the car got repoed they kept the payment and refused to give me the car or my money back. When I say I late I mean 13 damn days and all they keep telling me is to call my bank. If I could I'd sue these ppl are extremely predatory avoid at all costs if possible.
Terrible company shows its ugly face during COVID times. No help whatsoever, charges your credit card without telling you it's a cash advance, and has no mercy to help people who have lost their jobs, only looks to add more and more interest. Stay away, go to your local bank, wish I did.
Through them and carvana these guys are terrible. They over sold me on insurance if the car breaks I could get it repaired. Something did break and the car would not work properly and now I have to pay out of pocket for repair when I was told the insurance would cover the car as long as I had coverage. Screw these guys!
I will never ever mess with these people again I this time were all this viruses going on these people still hounding people for a payment I have kids two and lady told me so what they want there money $#*! that car and that company
What can I say? My first payment is due 9/8/19. I've so far received 6 email reminders and phone calls that my payment is due 9/8/19. Bridge crest even went ahead and set up automatic payments from my checking account for the day BEFORE it's due. Weird flex but OK. I feel like I got my mom over my shoulder reminding me to brush my teeth and clean my room and do my homework - but it's just Bridgecrest reminding me to pay my loan weeks in advance.
I know I'm reading negative reviews but based on my experience it hasn't been that bad for me as of 8/9/2020 I am behind on my payments I make sure I contact them let them know whats going on... Sure they talk crazy and try to tell me what I need to pay which is usually a lump sum after I've told them I don't have it so I just make at least the minimum payment and it works out. Usually my repo assignment date is pushed back two weeks after a payment
Bought a 2012 Chevy from Dr T financed through bridgecrest, 2nd car I have bought there. Paid the first off 1.5 yrs. Early so decided to replace after many issues. Drove car home all was fine My first payment was 5 days late suppose to have a 7 day grace period I called explained the reason and told them the payment would be paid within 3 days I was in the process of changing banks. The next day I woke up the car was gone during the night sent a repo theft. I had just put new floor mats, and personal items in the car and all was gone this company and people are all thieves I would never recommend either of the companies. Buyer Beware.
Easy to apply on Carvana wedsite, so I used them. Everything was ok until I decieded to pay off my loan.
Somehow I paid my payoff twice- my fault. After finding this out I called Bridgecrest and got someone in India who I could not understand. After finally telling her what i needed she transfered me to another department, still no help. This guy transfered me to the resolution center. Hey, some I could understand, her name was Brandy, she listened to what I had to say and said she would look into it and told me to call back in 2 weeks. I called back in 2 weeks, no Brandy- some guy. Same bull $#*!. This crap continued for over a month. As of today a 6 phone calls I still have not got my money back. Awful service!
Go on and get scars that are from fleets and they're not good conditions when they deliver them they take your intellectual property and resell it it is a crooked company and then trying go after cars that belong to people already.
Bought a car thru carvana back in dec 2018 and used carvana finance. Paid all my payments through carvana until out nowhere I couldn't pay my payment through carvana I had to do it through bridgecrest website. I setup automatic payment and assumed everything was good until I got back from a job over seas and found out that the automatic payments didn't go through and the car was put up for repo. I tried calling to fix the issue and everyone I spoke to was rude and disrespectful so I told them to come pickup their car. Two years later and the car is sitting on my property and now they can't find my account in their system. Very unprofessional and worthless company.
Terrible customer service, i regret every getting a car with them. Found out i had Coronavirus called to let them know my situation i was only a couple days behind. They still repossessed my car i have no way to work or anything and on top of that they're trying to charge me up charges just to get my car back.
So far, I've had no real problems with Bridgecrest. Payments are accepted on line and posted to the account automatically. Interest rate is what my credit deserves - frankly, I was surprised at how easy it was to get the loan, given my situation. My only problem with them, and the reason for three
stars rather than five, is the lack of information in contract details. I like to see a breakdown of principal and interest when my payments are posted - ideally an amortization. To see the balance, you have to click on the "payoff request" icon and then all you get is the payoff - no information on interest or fees. The other missing information is the original contract - when I executed the contract with Carvana, the executed copy failed to download. I cannot locate a link on site do download a copy.

Beware...I just received an email from Bridgecrest stating that my payment was decline, problem is I have not had an account with Bridgecrest in a year, so they had no business processing a payment. Luckily that card they had on file was old and obsolete. They say it was due to a system problem, but if it had processed successfully, I would have to wait till I got a bank statement showing the payment, before they would process a refund. Why would I have to prove your mistake when you would see a payment sitting on an account that is closed and has been for a year?...Beware
I have had my car over a year. Had to fix the car because drive time sold me a bad car front end need a lot of work. Called to talk to them about missing this 1 time payment so we can get back and forth. Car is costing a $1200 to fix. They told me because I'm current. They can't do that if I miss a payment they will come and get it. Also they use 186 of my 287 payment to interest. This is a big scam. Stay away from Drivetime and Bridgecrest

You may never know how much you borrowed, original interest, the number of remaining payments, etc. They will not make it available online and will not mail it to you either. This is a violation of Federal Law.
Bridecrest is a complete scam. I got a car through drive time and it was the worst thing I ever done in my life. They completely over charge for used car. The cars are complete lemons. When you need your car repaired the warranty never pays for barley anything and, they want u to pay a car note on top of your car being inoperative. Don't buy from drive time or get a loan through bridecrest u will regret it.
I understand that this is a subprime financing company; however I also believe that if you are dealing with people who are already struggling with bills, credit, etc you should be more mindful of their customer service experience. I do not have any problems with their interest rates or my payments, it's my fault for allowing my credit to be this bad. I do blame them for having customer service rep that seem impatient, talk loud, and say sarcastic remarks when asking simple questions like how much is my pay-off or does the company offer holiday payment reliefs. Not a good look Bridgecrest, not a good look!
I contacted this company the first of July to let them know I have applied for disability and told them that I would send in one payment per month until my disability kicks in then I would make up the back payments. Even sent them a letter from my attorney regarding the disability process. Bridgecrest stated that was fine but they would need to add on interest charges until I'm caught back up. They called today wanting their $1400 or they were going to start the repo process. I asked what happened to me making one payment month until my approval for disability kicks in. They stated we gave you a month. These people do not care of customers and have no moral. Please don't use the company for your financial needs. RUN IF YOU HEAR THE COMPANY!
Im very unhappy on how they treat people they call and call and call and when you tell him that you are unable to make a payment at this time or they want another payment they keep harassing you and threaten to take your vehicle away
I have been trying to register my car in the state of florida since october of last year. Everytime i would call to get a copy of my title sent to the dmv. They would tell me they sent it then come to find out it was never processed I have even spoken to their "Management department" they are jokes as well. I submitted a move request which they informed me that the dmv would receive the title with in 7-10 business days. I call them to check the status only to find out the it wont get to the dmv until july 9th 2022. Two months later.
Worst companies ever. If you can save enough money just to make a large down payment at a well known dealership. These companies need to be shut down.
Tip for consumers:
NEVER DEAL WITH DRIVE TIME OR BRIDGECREST. All cars are used. Extremely high miles, way overpriced and intrest rates are insane
My car was taken after being 20 days late on ONE payment due to the pandemic. Seems to be a ton of this happening. Not sure how a company can do such a thing in the middle of a pandemic. You should be ashamed of yourself!
I would give 0 stars if I could. I moved to a new state a year ago and have had the most difficult time switching my registration over from CA to OR. I faxed them the correct forms MULTIPLE times so they could fill them out and send them to the DMV. It's been a YEAR and still nothing. I've called their customer service many times and they've been unhelpful each time. I've also asked them to update my address on my title multiple times and every time I request a copy my old CA address is still listed. At this point, I don't even know what to do or how to get my car registered in the correct state. I also got a ticket for having expired tags...thanks Bridgecrest!
Whatever you do donot do it with Bridgecrest! I made a payment to stop my repossession and they still came and repossessed my vehicle and did not fix the problem that was made by them the worst f****** car financing company ever
