Although I've read a lot of negative reviews about Bridgecrest, my experience has been great. For the time I had Bridgecrest, I never experienced any negative issues at all. I always kept my loan current and never heard from them unless I called regarding questions I had. They were always friendly and more than willing to help me. I did refinance with another lender only because I found a better rate. Paying off the loan went smoothly. It comes down to this, keep your loan current and you won't have to deal with anyone from Bridgecrest unless you call with questions.
Worst possible company to deal with. They have no managers allowed to assist you, leaving you to a "customer relations" line that can't do much of anything. It took weeks of calls in order to get money back that was owed to me after my insurance gave them a full payouts. They actively are rude and uncommunicative. I would avoid this company at all costs.
Please if you can help it do not get a car loan from them. If you are in dying need then do so but please refinance. This is my first encounter with this company and I would rather go back to the first car loan company I had when I was 19 yrs old. So if you have bad credit, yes you can get a car. But listen to me. Work so hard on your credit, because you need to refinance asap. I am counting down the months to refinance. I will not deal with this company.
Purchased a vehicle in May 2019, I've paid $6,000 so far. I requested for a pay off quote and they asked for the exact same amount as what I purchased my vehicle for. I also, asked how much was my principal was being paid monthly out of $452/month, they told me only $106.00/month is principal. So if I never get into a position to pay more, for a vehicle that I got for $19,000. I will pay Bridgecrest over $88,500 in 15 years to pay down the principal. Daily interest is $11.56/ daily. Bridgecrest is a rip off along with Drive time. I never received these documents and I don't have proof showing I didn't sign for that. I would never sign to pay over $88,500 for a 2016 and paying them for 15 years. That's ridiculous.
So I had a car with this bank trade it in at dealer paid it off $40,000 check send it to Bridgecrest come a month later they're calling me asking me for my payment I told him that car was paid off it's not mines any longer they were confused they were not sure what was happening. First of all then they going to tell me they lost the check so after three months they would like another check are you kidding me I'm not sure what's the process you need to get hired here but obviously it's not hard anybody can work here and your customer service sucks I wouldn't recommend us bank to anybody think twice look at the reviews
I got the loan, but when I go to pay it off, it will not allow me to use the online payment to make the payment if it is more than 2K. I called 4 times and talked to the customer service, I just want to pay off the loan in full. They can't take phone payments for more than 2k either. The system will not allow me to make the payment, so in the end I had to send a check in and it added another 64 dollars to my account for interest while they processed my payment. Now I can't make the 64 dollar payment on the website either! F#$Cing waste of my time, they know the online system will not work for the payoff or any additional payments, but hey they keep making interest. Calling doesn't help for making a payment either, unless for this remaining 61 dollars, I want to pay a over the phone fee on top of this interest which I shouldn't owe! Crooks! Time for a class action lawsuit!
Caleb was very helpful and professional. Process was very easy, all questions completely addressed. Have always had polite professional customer service reps. Company has gone above and beyond to help.
Don't fall for these people they will rob you blind. They said in there report my truck never been in a wreck well they lied. A ******* dollar truck and time you pay there interested every day it will cost ******* for the truck.run run as fast as you can in the other direction
Beware of this company called BRIDGECREST! Horrible people and very poor customer service! False reporting to credit bureaus ruined my families credit and have yet to make it right... Complete scammers please look somewhere else & stay away from the nightmare this company put our family through! Yeah after taking money from my insurance when I totaled my car they claimed I owed $500 plus to my account and I paid it off. Yes paid them off... you know what happened next? They told the dealership today on (June 15th 2021) that my account is with debt collection still owe a lot. Let's see where the Bull$#*! ends, Bridgecrest! Wondering now if that ex con billionaire Ernest Garcia that owns Carvana also owns bridgecrest! Might be connected and have a bridge there... yes he's an EX CON!
Called them mid month asking for relief and was told have to call back closer to the actual due date. So called day before and all they keep saying is well your getting the stimulus payment aren't you? Made how many past payments on time and they won't work or help you. Worst company. I had a loan through Wells Fargo Dealer services and they were more understanding and looking to make sure people survived, and here wasn't even a pandemic going on!
I paid my vehicle off early and they locked me out of my account with no confirmation of payoff. The funds was pulled out of my account the same day and when I called customer service I would have to call back in 10 days for a confirmation and wait another 10 to 15 days to get my title. Now I have already sold my car and they can't get a tag for at least a month. Don't do business with these crook's.
Drive time will bury you on interest. Bridgcrest finance which is owned by drive time. They lie about down payments always ask for more money at the end of the deal. They strive to RIP off the little people. Double interest rate up to 30%. They dont care if they stand you in emergency. Came to my doctor office took the car had all my medications in my handbag and the worst is took baby car seat left us stranded 1 hour away from home with infant. There a bunch of con artist should be investigated for criminal acts. F__king criminals... and they want a rating

How embarrassing that I ever did business with this company. I financed a car for about 2 years now valued at 10,000 when I first bought it. 2 years later of consistent payments, the price bumps up to 14,000! I explained to these crooks that due to covid 19, my hours were reduced and money is tight, so if you would be willing to work with me (like any professional would do) I could have this all figured out. They wont defer payments for any reason and they dont care that the economy is collapsing. They call you at least twice a day when youre behind on a payment, harassing and reminding you to pay even after I explain the same thing to them each time. My car was repossessed yesterday afternoon after missing a single payment! I hope something gets done about this company, this is not ethically right. How is it okay to treat people this way? I wish you the absolute worst of luck
I bought a car back in October 2019, never had an issue with them. Pay every two weeks but I don't do autodraft, never liked it for any of my bills. If I forget, they will call and let me know. A little too much but I get it, I forgot. When COVID happened, the stimulus money emails seemed cold. But everyone wants their bill to be the one paid. Customer service has always been friendly. The one time I needed an extension, I called and it was worked out, my extension was a direct result of COVID. After the extension, everything went back to normal. Seems like an okay company to use for a car loan. There are better for sure but if you are building/rebuilding your credit, these guys are good. Far worse companies than them to deal with.
Let me preface by stating the obvious once and only when one comes into the knowledge. Very important. When one studies and clearly understands; HJR 192 Public Law 73-10 briefly this states that the government must (must) says have "to no" choice. Guess what they are using your credit and stealing your income because we won't accessed. American people. Need to wake up stop depending on something outside of yourself to fix the
problem expecting beaucrats to help are country because they won't.
Bridgecrest you might want to look at Florida law on car loans the cap on interest is 18 percent
Shame on you for charging what you do shame on you for adding in 3,500 for warranty. Shame on you for not disclosing financial charges. Its common practice to go over all charges not just hand someone a folder with all the papers we never seen.
I'm going to my attorney General
They are the worst company to use I was in an accident the car was total loss the car was paid off by the insurance and the gap insurance had to pay the rest only $2000 they reported to my credit bureau that my payments were past due for two months and ruining my credit while Using them they hassled you with tons of calls. Very rude not understanding and tons of late fees
Due to the Coronavirus I experienced financial hardship and requested a loan modification and was only offered it for the month of March and was told management advised representatives to only offer 30 days. They should not be offered any assistance since they refuse to assist their customers during a time like this.
This by far the worse company I have ever used in 30 years of credit history. Do NOT get a loan with this crooks. This is a bad company, really bad. Save yourself all the pain and anger you will get with this idiots.
Not willing to work with you during these troubled times of the covid19 pandemic all they care about is ripping people off! Heartless bastards stay away at all costs never been late with a payment always pay on time but they refuse to defer a payment in these troubled times.
My car was totalled and after the insurance paid them they held the check for 2 weeks. But their GAP is worst. I was supposed to get a refund from them for the payments I had to make before the GAP pay the rest of the loan, and they say that I have no right to receive any money. Thieves. After all of that I went to purchase another car worth $15,995. They were asking $2,000 for downpayment. I went to another place an got a $18,000 with $1,000 downpayment and 3-1/2% lower interest rate
Drivetime/Bridgecrest gave me a chance when no one else would because I had no credit. If I was ever a few days or even a few weeks late all I had to do was pick up a phone and call. They changed my due date when I changed jobs even got me into a new car when I totalled the first one. Now I'm paying of my second car with them this week and just co signed on a third one for my aunt. Great company!
This company is horrible. They continued to withdraw funds from my account over and above the balance of the loan. They refused to refund the amount in a timely manner despite being obviously in the wrong, despite the fact that the billing statements they sent did not match the amount they illegally withdrew. Of course this is in the midst of the coronavirus when so many people are missing hours at work. Worst customer service ever, and Kerry P9KV... literally there service is so bad that customer service managers will not give out their full names. Has absolutely no clue what she is doing or she is working for a company whose policies are purposely illegitimate. I urge anyone who has problems with this company to file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
I bought a newer model vehicle and had it financed through bridgecrest and bought all warranties and gap coverage through the partners.
They drug me through the mud and called me a liar on multiple occasions and tried to blame my insurance agency (USAA) which I have total confidence in. They refused to file gap coverage for the remaining 5,000 owed on my vehicle due to 81 dollars they had "misplaced" in their system. It's been 3 months since I totaled my vehicle out and to this day they are still making me jump through hoops in order to receive the coverage I paid for. Gap coverage is a scam. Bridgecrest are thieves who will lie and tell you what you want to hear. Their call centers are based in the Caribbean's and they do not understand basic insurance concepts. I will never again use this company or any partners of said company.
In front of the covid-19 what you can expect from Bridgecrest is late payment threat calls, report late payment credit companies and calls to annoy. There was never any help in this global situation. Not like the big companies that extended their clients for three months and did not make late reports. That was the least expected.
They billing system is so screwed I'm starting to think it's a scam. My car was repoed 3 times due to they billing system being all jacked up. I'm shocked they still in business I've reached out to the BB twice due to they error I'm currently looking into getting a lawyer and they customer service reps are just rude and hardly know what they talking about. The last time my car was taken someone pulled up to my home with a tow truck with no info on it and a business card with the phone number scratched out I had to get the cops involved because no one had any Idea where my car was located. After figuring out the number the gentleman who answered told me he couldn't help me. I honestly don't want the car anymore and trying to find a way to get out of it
Can't tell you in 100 characters how awful this business is. NEVER EVER USE THEM! Walk first! Horrible customer service after four years of $430 a month owed $200 more than original loan! Hounded new for a payment even after a real bank paid them off! I got a new truck for $100 more a month and saved over %8 interest! Rip off rip off rip off!
