Although I've read a lot of negative reviews about Bridgecrest, my experience has been great. For the time I had Bridgecrest, I never experienced any negative issues at all. I always kept my loan current and never heard from them unless I called regarding questions I had. They were always friendly and more than willing to help me. I did refinance with another lender only because I found a better rate. Paying off the loan went smoothly. It comes down to this, keep your loan current and you won't have to deal with anyone from Bridgecrest unless you call with questions.
Worst possible company to deal with. They have no managers allowed to assist you, leaving you to a "customer relations" line that can't do much of anything. It took weeks of calls in order to get money back that was owed to me after my insurance gave them a full payouts. They actively are rude and uncommunicative. I would avoid this company at all costs.
Will not work with you i was 12 days late do to some fraudulent activity on my account and wS goingbto be paying it all in one day. They repoed the car left me stranded and did not care if I had a rude home. I called and talked to them they would not take a payment or work with you. They said no and would not be able to get the car back. Not a happy customer.
My daughter just got a new car not even a month yet and they just came to warren,,Mich and stole the car in the middle of the night. Then when she called them they told her she can't get it back after all the money.so yall saying y'all taking her down payment n all including the car. But I thought when they take a car they suppose to give the client a chance to get it back not tell them they lost Everything. But after looking at all of Bridgecrest reviews they have the worst reviews. The lowest review credibility ever. I can see if she had more than a month behind. But Dam. This is why People go to Progressive instead. Lesson Learned
If I could rate a 0 I would! Bought a car from them, I changed banks, put the info on my account 5 days before my car payment was due so it would come out of the new bank. They failed to take the payment from my account listed. I didnt catch the error until the following friday night... so I was going to call Monday morning and correct the problem and pay the payment. They took the car on Saturday while I was at work. It was 10 days late, still had temp tags on it. When I called them that Monday morning they said I had to pay the entire balance. It's been 4 days and the car is already on the lot to be resold. This is a horrible company!
Last week I made my last payment of $56.83. This week I owe $268.00. WTF. I call customer service, and the rude $#*! lady, kept telling me no you have a balance. I said no my balance said 0.00. She laugh at me sad hung up.
Bought a vehicle from drive time and it ended up being totalled. Progressive gave me the option to buy the truck back so first i contacted bridge crest to make sure my gap insurance would cover the rest if i did so they said yes so i retained the truck. A couple weeks go by and gap still hasnt received the letter from bridgecrest saying the truck was totalled. They refuse to send the paperwork and continue to demand money after my insurance check was received. There thieves lying coniving thieves. And there getting away with it, when will it end when will they be shut down

I really don't understand how come the USA government allows this kind of scam artist can do business. FBI should investigate their cheatings. There are dangerous traps are hidden on the contract papers and the problem is their underwriter does not explain about hidden daily rates when buyers sign the contract. Their daily interest plus yearly interest are x5 times bigger than the original loan amount. Buyers cannot imagine it before the signing contract, who can imagine? People do focus only on yearly rates when buying cars. Bridgecrest and Drivetime are criminals. We need to sue them together.
I financed a used car and after 3 years (and still owing 2) I have spent around $6,000. On this car. Last week it broke down again on my way to a mandatory workshop at work. I have maxed my credit cards just trying to keep it running. I had two mechanics tell me the car was in bad accidents(there were still things under the hood on the front bent) And, it had rusty parts underneath as if it had been flooded. Even the trunk where you keep the spare tire and jack. The first time I tried to use it the jack was rusty and the area underneath was rusty and all dried out.
Honestly they don't even deserve any stars, these people are straight up crooks and so is Drivetime. We purchased a vehicle through Drivetime and only given the option to go through of Bridgecrest. Big mistake, a after paying on the car for a years, we found ourself in a upside down loan. We were told that we couldn't make extra payments throws the principle, it would just a extra payment (which only with to the interest. After we fall on hard times we told them to get the car, the never told us when they was gone come and get the car. They took all of our personal belongings and gave us the run around about get the items back. Needless to say by the time they were done, sending up through circles. The recovery company said that all of our personal belongings had been trashed.

I basically was treated to there loan shark services
Extremely unprofessional. The customer service team do not communicate with each other. They lie to you on the line, pretend to notate the acct with your grievances and/or request so they don't have to do their jobs. No one seems to know which dept does what and who can actually help. If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible Horrible Horrible
I purchased my car and was never late. I actually had it for two years on autopay, never missed a payment. I decided to trade the car in. The dealership I sold it to gave the full payoff price. They sent the check to the payoff dept at Bridgecrest, someone signed for it. Here it is 2 months later, and it still has not posted to my account. Meantime my credit is being hit with late statuses. I've called and called and they see where fedex dropped off the check and was signed for…still nothing. Don't use them!
I called Bridgecrest today as a follow-up to Capital One. I have been approved to refinance with Capital One. I am getting my payment lowered by $107.00 dollars monthly and a much lower interest rate. I called Bridgecrest to see if they received payoff the rep stated no. I said okay have they reached out she stated yes and got our address to send the check. Then the Rep says I see you have a car payment due I said YES on 12.26.2020 the day after Christmas. She said make sure you pay it. It wasn't what she said it was how she said it. I am so happy to be rid of them. If I would have know that Carvana deals with just them better knows as Drive Time, prior to that the Ugly Duckling I would have never dealt with them. Please shop around before doing business with them it is not worth it.
I've never been late on a payment. COVID-19 hits and I get laid off. The disrespect I got when I called in to see what our options were since I was no longer getting paid and had to deal with unemployment not knowing how long that would take. They answered' "Don't you have stimulus check money?"
Long story short I missed a payment for the first time and starting the very next day: CONSTANT HARRASMENT! 7-8 Calls a day in the middle of a pandemic! Three weeks later the car was taken and not two years of on time payments down the drain because these bloody suckers couldnt wait 30 days. Keep the car! I went to an actual dealership and got a new car my interest rate dropped 18% points! Stay away.
I am home in NJ and I have been waiting for two months now for Unemployment... and still waiting. All my other creditors have deferred payment for 90days+... Thanks Ford. Thanks Quicken-loans. Thanks Chase. Thanks Bank Of America. Go to hell Drivetime (apparent company of BridgeCrest) and Bridgcrest. They don't want to move in-terms of payment deferment. I hope all the people that work for them dies in car crashes. I am not paying them $#*!. After this, they will be a glut of Cars on the market/lots. Someone will provide me with credit. They will ask you to call the irs for your stimulus as well as telling you that my state hired outside companies to process unemployment. If so, then something is wrong and the workers at Bridgcrest should help out at the unemployment office then and help process some of the claims. This goes beyond works and more management. Also, they will fail... companies that operates like this when bad times usually fails and all who support them (Caravan).
My car was totaled and paid off and Bridgecrest can't give me a straight answer on my refund to save they life. Just lies and lies. I wouldn't recommend bridgecrest to my worst enemy. Just not honest about anything.
I was in a tight spot and needed a vehicle, so I got a loan with Bridgecrest. I knew the loan was super high interest etc. I decided to do it anyway. Vehicle gets wrecked and my insurance company will satisfy the loan and I can have the car free and clear with a salvage title. Great news...or so I thought. Bridgecrest will not release the vehicle paid for or not. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If I could rate negative stars I would.
Bridge crests literally puts you in a loan that gains a daily interest which makes it very difficult to pay off your loan. Meaning you owe 10k your payment is $428 monthly your daily interest could be $7-10 and it adds up! Your payoff will take longer and wayyy more money.
I sent the payoff for my vehicle and the tracking number shows they received it on May 3rd. It is now May 17th and they have not posted the payment. They stated they have the payment but have just not posted it but suggest I keep making payments. I am not making payments on a paid off loan. Not my fault they are lazy and won't post a payment. I don't know any company that receives $23,000 and doesn't cash the check. Will NEVER do business with them again.

Vehicle Loan
Bought a car from drive time and it was financed by bridgecrest I was two weeks late on my payment and they came and got my car in the middle of the night. Called to get it back and even though I could make my payment they wouldn't let me have my car back. They said they were having out of the loan and the only way to keep my car was to pay the car off. Wouldn't work with me at all.
The first car I had was garbage then I had to go back and get a second car which was okay until I had got in the car accident and they look under and through everything with the car trying to find out the under the car is Rusted. Now as for the payment I never heard where you take a payment out put it back and then charge $15 extra for a late fee and say it take 3to4 business days for the money to be taken out... and then they tell me I will be charged again $15 for a payment they can't stop
Any positive review on here for these scammers is probably just one of their employees. They drew up a contract with a pay frequency of biweekly even though I told the DriveTime dealer I wanted monthly. I confirmed monthly payments with them on multiple occasions. They pulled the old switcheroo, destroyed my credit and repossessed my car that i needed for work.

$#*! you Bridgecrest
I have never had any problems with this company. Yes the interest rate is high but my credit wasn't good. Im very greatful for the opportunity to rebuild my credit. Sometimes its hard because them payments come back to back but i work hard to keep this account in good standing and they have been very helpful.
Do not work with Bridgecrest because they will not work with you. Bunch of thieves. Recently tried getting a vehicle through Carvana. Ordered it it was dropped at my house. Drove it one day and got a check engine light. Reached out to tell them about it and that I wanted to swap it for another one. They dropped off the new vehicle and took the other one. BRIDGECREST is the loan company that works with Carvana and their customers trying to get a vehicle. Well needless to say, somehow I was showing I owned two vehicles under Bridgecrest, the first one I turned back in to Carvana because of the check engine light and the one I currently own. I called Bridgecrest to let them know I didnt own the first vehicle and shouldn't be making payments on it. After they worked with Carvana to verify that they indeed get the vehicle back, there was a matter of getting back the money I paid for the vehicle I never owned. Just told they can't give it back. $#*!ing thieves!
I woke up to my car being gone along with all of my stuff inside. I called bridgecrest and they told me they repossessed my car and the only way to get it back was to pay the full payment of the car $******* they said I missed my payment after they emailed me saying thank you for your payment. Said my bank account had insufficient funds. LIE. So my next payment came up so I used a different card payment went through. I asked the man if I was behind he said no. A couple days later I get a call saying I'm behind and I'm like okay I'll pay it tomorrow then I get an email saying my payment is due on the 9th, and today they came and took it before the time they told me it was due. I call them and they are very unhelpful and rude saying that the emails didn't count they only go off phone calls. They said they tried to call 3 times and since I didn't answer that was the end of it. WORST COMPANY EVER. So glad I only made one payment
I got a text from "Bridgecrest" saying "Thank you for setting up your promise to pay $302.00 on 09/02"... I've never heard of Bridgecrest, so I text back saying "What is Bridgecrest? I don't recall making this arrangment" to which I get an automated text saying that this is an unmonitored box. I drop it. I get a text on 09/01 saying "your promise to pay $302 is due tomorrow" So I call the number. Can I get your name and the last four digits of your SS#. Me: Here's my name, who is Bridgecrest? Bridgecrest "I suggest you Google Bridgecrest to find out who we are". Me: "You can't tell me who you are?" Bridgecrest "No, because of confidentiality reasons". So Bridgecrest wants my money but won't tell me who they are?!? I hope this bill isn't for something I'm not placing right now I guess.
This company is garbage. I had to be put on quarantine at my home due to being exposed to covid19. All I ask bridgecrest to do was let me place my next car payment at the end of my loan. The lady I spoke with told me that it would not be a problem. Since I've been on time with every payment for the past 2 years that I've had the vehicle. I called Bridgecrest to find out why I had not received the email to sign the final paperwork to have my payment moved to the end of the loan. After 3 day's of going back and forth with bridgecrest. They informed me that a manager had denied my request to have the payment moved to the end of the loan. And couldn't even give me a reason why my request was denied. I will never buy a vehicle through this company again...
