I used Brown Paper Tickets services for my one act play festival, Women At Play(s), which promotes women in the arts as well as diversity in MARCH 2020. They still have not given me all the ticket money that my audience members paid to see my show. I made numerous phone calls and sent emails with only an automated reply. I filed a complaint with the state of Washington which mandated them to pay. And I am still waiting for my money. Please be warned.

As a venue, we would never use Brown Paper tickets again. They have over $ 900.00 of our community theater ticket sale monies and they are totally non responsive. How any venue is still working with them, I cannot understand. There are so many better options out there. Beware
If you're fed up with the Ticketmaster experience, you might be as delighted as I am with Brown Paper Tickets.
First of all, the per-ticket surcharge is tiny: only 3.5% plus 99 cents -- except that for the many free events, there's no service fee whatever. (You can easily search for free events and others that are heavily discounted.) And five percent of net sales go to a charity of the patron's choosing.
Tickets are refundable, can be resold, and can be sent to your phone. The site provides extensive event information, with maps. There's 24/7 toll-free customer service.
We held a Halloween event in 2020 and had guests pay through BrownPaperTickets. Our guests paid over $1400 through the BPT platform. They have paid us absolutely nothing. We've sent email after email, they did not respond to any of them. They disconnected their phone service. We discovered a WA attorney general complaint against them requiring them to repay all owed funds within 7 months (November 2021). Here it is, August 2022, and still we've seen zip from them. Support emails just say "we're working on it" and there's no way to speak to anyone in person. DO NOT USE!

My choral group used BPT for our concerts. We are still waiting for the $1000 we are owed for our June 2023 concert receipts. Repeated attempts to contact them have proved fruitless. We are a small organization and $1000 is a significant loss. My recommendation is not to use this "service" unless you are prepared to never see the proceeds from your event.;

Brown Paper Tickets does not sell products. It is a ticketing service. We used them for several years until they were acquired by Events.com, which has now refused to pay us the $1000 they owe for tickets sold to our June 2023 concert.
Have been waiting for a refund for 4 months. My first request was taken by phone and assured I would be getting a refund. My second request had to be done by e mail still no refund. I am on a fixed income and can use the money Will never do business with them again..
