The management and leadership of this company are disgraceful. They manipulate independent artists and small businesses, taking advantage of hardworking people trying to earn an honest living. It is shocking and cruel that anyone in a position of power would treat others this way. Their actions are unethical, exploitative, and completely unforgivable.
This platform completely robbed us. As new business owners, we entrusted them to handle ticket sales for multiple shows, and to this day, they've never released the funds. There's no way to reach an actual person, only silence and false promises that lead nowhere. Their deceit forced us to drain our own savings just to keep our theatre alive, and the damage it caused was crushing. Years have passed, and they still haven't made things right. They pocketed money from families who supported our work and left us with nothing. This company is a disgrace, untrustworthy, predatory, and destructive. Avoid them at all costs.
This company is nothing short of a scam. They make big promises about payments, but once the event is over, they disappear with the money. No explanations. They pocket the ticket sales and leave you with nothing. It's infuriating and completely unethical. I was lied to repeatedly. It feels like being robbed in broad daylight. Stay far away from these people.
I cannot believe this company is still allowed to operate. We paid for ticketing services and were met with complete silence once they had our funds. No refunds, no updates, no accountability—just months of being ignored while our event suffered. This wasn't just poor service—it felt like a scam, and the damage they caused still lingers.
Brown Paper Tickets is an absolute nightmare to deal with. I cannot recall a single transaction that went smoothly—there is always some mess. What it makes even more infuriating is the customer service. They are not just useless—they are flat-out rude and dismissive. Instead of solving problems, they make everything worse with their attitude and complete lack of effort.
I paid for tickets months ago, and when the event was canceled, the company vanished into thin air. No refund, no responses - just complete silence. I sent emails, messaged on social media, and tried every possible way to get help. Nothing. Not even a basic acknowledgement. It is absolutely disgraceful that a company can snatch you money, fail to deliver, and then act like you don't exist. The customer service is a joke. This isn't just a bad service - it's outright disrespect. I'll never spend another cent with this company.
The peoplke at BPT are dishonest and shameless. They make bold promises about payments of what they owe and never follow through—not a cent. Trying to get answers is a complete joke. You won't get help, only could, robotic replies that go nowhere. There is zero accountability, no intention to resolve anything. Choosing them was a massive mistake I regret every day. Do not fall for the same trap. You'll end up frustrated, ignored, and cheated.
Awful trusting and dealing with the company, it was my biggest mistake doing business with them! Beware of this company, they are fake! They will lie to you and make all sorts of excuses to hold your money back!
I'm so exhausted going back and forth with management who still doesn't pay! I heard a lot have been complaining as well and I think It's time to take legal action! They've become very unethical and the staff were rude too!
They cancel events all of a sudden and says nothing about refunding tickets! Getting in touch with management have been stressful with unanswered emails, and phone numbers that don't work! What is this company?! IS THIS EVEN LEGIT?!
Nothing good comes from this company and its leadership. Besides the decent health benefits package, there's nothing good about working for Brown Paper Tickets. The compensation is below the industry average, and the leadership we have is too incompetent and immature. Also, we have a stressful and hectic work environment.
If you want to be out of business after your first event, BPT is for you! But it would be insane for any business owner to want that! However, that's gonna happen if you let BPT management manage your event! Avoid fast!
Brown Paper Tickets is disorganized because the leadership is chaotic. Our own supervisors are coordinated, yet they expect employees to be coordinated with them. We often receive conflicting instructions, and our schedules are a mess! I don't think I've had a peaceful moment during my whole stay here.
Don't use Brown Paper Tickets! I purchased some tickets from them for Comic Con but never received them. I tried contacting them for a refund, but they never gave me my money back! Stay away unless you want to get scammed!
RUDE staff RUDE management! They don't pay you yet disrespect you, turns hostile, it's horrible! This company is a SCAM so BEWARE and AVOID!
A scam of a company! Seriously DO NOT do business with Brown Paper Tickets! They will take your moeny and avoid you when it's time to pay! Horrible company, unethical owners!
Don't work for Brown Paper Tickets! The leadership here is unreliable and unreasonable, and you'll only be stressed trying to reason with the managers. Most of the leaders here don't care about your well-being, and they're unwilling to listen to anything that you have to say. AVOID this company for your own good.
Beware! No one gets paid here! Don't let these people sell your tickets because you won't get paid! It's a scam! They let you feel that management's involved in every process, but when you need to talk to the manager, he'll be out of reach! Terrible, unethical company!
Companies beware! Brown paper tickets don't pay and won't pay you! We've been constantly contacting them for weeks but still couldn't get paid for the event that happened months ago! Management won't talk to us either or at least tell us when we're getting paid!
Answer: I can confirm the above experiences. They won't talk to us. Because they owe too many people money. Don't use them.
