I have bought a lot of various knives/daggers from BUDK. I call them letter openers because I would never trust my life with a five dollar blade. However the blades I have received have all been as advertised and make me wonder how they would perform under stress. But for five bucks, they work fine for opening letters and packages - cutting string and such. Filled several drawers with 30 or so blades, so I am ready for the zombies. I don't see how they make a profit selling at such low prices.
Sitting here with my cousin and his order of (4) bushmaster OTF knives was delivered. All (4) are gifts for family members and are identical. One knife is missing (2) screws and another knife is missing the blade. Shipping took (5) days. My cousin just got off the phone with BudK customer service and has to wait 3 days for a return shipping label then wait for them to receive the bad products they sent him and another 5 days to see if they send him what he originally ordered. All the while not offering him any compensation. This company is a bad business! Please take heed to this company before deciding to order from here.
This knife is too heavy for EDC, but it will find a space in my collection of folders. The ball-bearings provide smooth opening action. The knife closes easily. D2 tool steel is a good knife steel. The overall quality of the knife is good. The price is ok for a D2 folder with ball bearings. 4-Star knife.

Buy this knife on Amazon. Amazon has good customer protection policies. Don’t use Budk

I got my son a tomahawk and throwing knives for Christmas. They are awesome! He was thrilled with the high quality of these products. Exactly as described. Looked better in person than online. I would highly recommend BUDK and will definitely be buying again!
I wanted a new EDC which didn't cost much more than about $10 bucks. This was perfect for my needs. Has a nice clean basic look to it and is very sharp right out of the box. It's my newest favorite little knife!
Be careful, if you don't already collect sharp stuff and survival gear then you will get hooked and start a collection! Great Prices *(you get what you pay for, if you expect very high quality stuff, look at the high end priced stuff). Never had to try to return a damaged or bad quality item yet (knock on wood), so I can't comment much on Customer Service aside from a few minor financial/shipping issues that were settled quickly with satisfaction. I'd really like to know if the negative reviewers tried to reach out to CS about their issues before complaining here.
After dealing with other website dealers, I have found that BudK has proven to be above the rest. Very responsive customer service, great pricing on great products. Shipping was lightning fast and the whole process is seamless. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting swords knives and zombie gear.
I have made 3 purchases from BUDK/Kennesaw this month, 2 Naval Cutlass and 12 kitchen knives (8 don't tread on me knives and 4 fillet knives - they are the same thing in 2 different colors). Each of the 3 orders was mad quickly and I received exactly what I expected. Is the cutlass sharp enough to repel boarders? Hell no! It is a show-piece, not a weapon! But this one is 50 bucks where as the real CPO Navy Cutlass is 450 bucks, without engraving! By the way you guys, why don't you all just print and send one catalogue? Also, only send catalogue with purchase upon request.
Was very impressed with the ordering process, had to contact customer service regarding a minor glitch while placing the order, but they handled it immediately and my order arrived 2 days earlier than expected. Excellent company- will continue to order from them!
Items are great. I need to remember to take a ruler when buying stuff so I know the size. The pocket knife was a little smaller than I imagined. I accidentally ordered two of one item. Again my error. It is so nice though that I'm just going to keep it as another gift to give. Everything was packaged nicely and shipped immediately. My husband will be thrilled Christmas morning.
I have bought many great quality fun items from Bud K over the years. Every order always arrives on time. They are always getting new and innovative items for sale. My daughter is a bigger collector than me. Most of my orders are for her.
Picked out some very nice knives for all my workmates at crazy low prices! Really impressed at the quality of most of these knives when they were less than $10.00 a piece! I used to collect fancy knives years ago, so I know the difference between really cheap junk and products that are actually worth owning, and I can give these as gifts with pride knowing they will enjoy these for many years! Everything I ordered was in stock, shipped fast, packed exceptionally well. Once again, I would recommend BudK to everyone that wants qualify stuff at great prices. BudK's customer service should be commended for their outstanding level of knowledge concerning their products and their expertise in handling customer wants and needs.
The ordering process and delivery time went well, but the three Skinner Knives showed up with the cheapest Sheaths I have ever seen! All three knives had absolutely NO blade edge or point! Totally unusable! These were purchased as Christmas gifts and with the little time between receiving them and Christmas, I needed to drop them off at a professional knife sharpener with hopes they can do something with them! I'm currently searching for usable sheaths as well! All adding extra cost and stress!
I just received several items from BUDK. Both knives and a sword. The products are low quality. Actually they are crap. I spoke with customer service and was told they would give me a refund once they received the products. But because the items are not damaged, I have to pay return postage. The return postage is costing me $26.00. Can you say ouch? I'm going to buy from Amazon in the future.

Everything I have ordered so far was worth the money. I bought a cheap sword that had a chord wrapped grip that unwrapped after a couple swings at a tree, but it was like $12 and not meant to be used as an axe. The sword was sharp and looked cool. I would just be a bit leery of chord wrapped handles or buy an axe or machete if you plan on clearing some brush. At least it didn't break in half like the $30 sword I bought from a different store.
Looks to be well made and just the right size for my duty belt. You can really stuff this little thing. I have my phone, note pad, tactical pen, survival pen, extra pistol magazine, pack of smokes, and a partridge in a pear tree in there. Just kidding about the bird in the tree. I have ordered quite a bit of items from Budk.com, including knives, machetes, crossbows and darts and other equipment and they have delivered ontime and they keep you posted when you will receive your items. Like the title says this catalog and on line store is the go-o place for cutlery. The Bud-K catalog and on line store is top notch. Whether you are in the market for cutlery ranging from domestic/cooking knives to survival or self defense weapons out to exotic edged weapons, this is the place to go. I just placed an order on Tuesday, and it arrived 4 days later. Not the usual 7-10 working days (or longer) The order was professionally packaged, and the knife is of outstanding quality. (The M-48 cutlery line defines the standard) Prompt, courteous service, superb variety and reasonable prices. Too bad other business don't measure up.

The only reason for the 4/5 service is that I never received a tracking email to know when my package was to arrive. I got a promo code for free economy shipping so I guess that's what I get, but I would've liked to have a tracking number emailed to me. Aside from that, the products are better than I expected for the price by far, the packing was quality and professional, and even included a coupon for a future shopping discount. Overall great experience, I will shop again.

I collect weapons as a hobby, and I heard about this site from a friend. I checked it out, and I was amazed at just how many extensively different weapons and categories they had. Their prices are super cheap, and the items are really good quality. They sell so many things on here, that I still haven't put a dent in all the things I want to get from them! I would definitely recommend this site for any avid collector!
