Delivery arrived today Wednesday 29th of May. Checked the items and they are the best. Tried every where for 120 volt 100 watt and 150 watt bulbs, couldn`t get them anywhere, then went on to the Bulb America website and got what was needed. The bulbs are for a current limiter for powering up AA5 (All American 5) vacuum tube AM radios. Happy with purchase and would highly recommend Bulb America as a business, thanks very much. Thank you.
I ordered 32 very small, two-prong LED bulbs from BulbAmerica recently. I ordered double the number I would need so that in the future I could easily replace them. I paid over $150 for these bulbs; it was more than I would have liked, but their shipping was high for a smaller order, so I didn't want to do multiple orders. I figured since they were LED, they would last forever. Boy was I wrong. Three to four weeks in, more than half of the Chinese-made bulbs had failed: switching on and off or simply going out. Six weeks in and I've exhausted all the replacements. Half the lights are empty sockets now (since I've removed them), and several of the remaining ones barely produce any light. I previously had incandescent bulbs for these lights instead, although I prefer LED. There were no issues with those, and they lasted a surprisingly long time. I thought BulbAmerica would do some measure of quality control for the brands they stock, but they clearly don't. I suspect in reality they're actually just a drop shipping company. No surprise, BulbAmerica refused to stand by their product. They said that since the product arrived at my home and it was outside their warranty period, they had no responsibility for the outcome. What they don't tell you is that their bulbs might fail right around the time their warranty ends. As a side note, the reason I ordered 32 is because they wanted nearly $20 to ship a box of 16 very small bulbs. This box easily fits in your palm and would actually cost about $5 to ship. Don't buy from them.
The system has power but light does not illuminate, please advise what to do. Nothing happens when the light has been installed and the power is restored.
The one thing that I always worry about with other companies I order from is whether the breakables are going to arrive in one piece or several. I never worry about that with BulbAmerica. Everything always arrives correctly, in a timely fashion, and, most importantly, in one usable piece. Thanks!
You sent the wrong bulb. Called five times no response. Do not want to deal with you anymore. I looked through the list and pictures and it looks like I shouldve been sent the NSP 10 e26 halogen light bulb.
The 4000K Copper Trim down lights I ordered were too too blinding for the kitchen; not not mention, one of the four blinked when not dimmed. Ordering the replacement 3000K lights was not an easy task. When the replacements arrived, the copper trims were used; I paid full price for new parts. No matter, the 3000Ks are perfect, and no blinking; so far.
So far, out of the 20 orders I have placed, only 1 had an issue and that broken bulb was likely the fault of UPS. Some bulbs (H11LLX) do have the wrong specs listed, like it saying it is 55 volts and 55 watts when it's actually 12 volts and 55 watts.
Tip for consumers:
Double, triple or quadruple check your order over. It's important to check the color temperature before purchasing also. 2-3K is yellow light, 4-5K is white light, & 6K and up is bluish light.
This is my first time ordering from Bulbamerica. I had previously purchased a replacement bulb for my Mitsubishi DLP model WD-******* from another merchant that claimed to be an OEM replacement that was supposed to last up to 6,000 hours. It looked like the right bulb and housing, but the part number was filed off of the housing. That bulb lasted just under 2 months of barely 4 hours daily use. So I was in search of another replacement bulb once again. My search led me to Bulbamerica and after reading many reviews, I crossed my fingers and ordered an OEM bulb and was skeptical that I would receive the genuine replacement. The 90 day warranty helped me make this decision.
I was very pleased when my order arrived 3 days sooner than expected. Upon opening the box, I again was very pleased to find the inner box that held the bulb and housing was clearly branded as Philips. The housing for the bulb also had the part number engraved on the side and the unit was identical to the original bulb and housing that came with my TV. Bulbamerica has earned my trust and I will continue to order from them. I would give 5 stars but I haven't used the bulb yet because I kept an old one that still has some life in it. Will be changing it out soon.
My company has many sites who use BulbAmerica. We find the prices are reasonable, the product is exactly what we want and ordering and shipping is made so easy.
The bulbs are tested as working, but the package was something that barely resembled a box when it arrived. Thank goodness all the bulbs were still in working order.
My time spent ordering from bulb America has been great, always a good experience. I am intending on ordering more stock from them and continue with the great experience.
Ordering the new bulb for my DLP TV was effortless. It was shipped shortly after the order was placed and I received it in a couple of days. Would recommend Bulbamerica to any and everyone.
Whenever I go to either Menards or Lowe's for bulbs... if I can't find what I want@ either of them... Bulb America... WILL HAVE My bulbs. I recently began the transition to "Daylight bulbs" in My home and I CAN SAY..."WHAT a DIFFERENCE!" Bulb America is My "Clutch-Hitter" for My bulb needs.
I received an expensive bulb from this company with can in defective. They sent a return form to ship the bulb back, and on my request for a refund of $54.09, they said that they do not cover shipping on refunds, so they are only giving me the $41.99 back, which I also have not seen yet. It was their defective bulb and I don't believe I should have to pay the shipping on something from their company that did not work to begin with. Sad that the company doesn't honor the entire payment for a defective bulb.

I specifically was looking for 2700K bulbs and received 3000K. Very disappointing because I looked all over to get this color and my receipt says that was what I was getting.
The 1157 LED replacements were a disappointment.
They are dimmer than the incandescent they were meant to replace. I cannot and will not use them.
I will be returning them to Sylvania.

These L. E. D. Replacement lamps for my fluorescent fixtures are going to save a lot of energy and I expect them to last much longer.
