This is hands down the best place to go for clothing that looks like trendy mall clothes at ridiculously low pricing all year long. On the online site you can only get coats or baby everything, email coupons and school uniforms. In the walk-in stores you can get dressy, casual, trend or conservative men, women, juniors and childrens clothing, accessories of all kinds, housewears, you can even get a blender, prom dress and headphones. The pricing is great and this store should never go away! Visit a location near you and be surprised at how much you get for so little. I want to work there just to be closer to all those daily, new arrivals!
You can have money on you to go shopping at Burlington coats. But you cannot shop, for being targeted for being a shoplifter. Even though they have no proof. They will stalk their buyers while they are trying to shop. This is unappealing to customers. Unless they actually see someone stealing. They should not have a right to just go around stalking their customers. It should be against the law. Because people should feel welcome, when they go to a store to shop.

Terrible customer service. The store is dirty, no organization. Workers are rude. One of the workers was very hateful and when she was called out she didn't like it and called the so called security guard. Who approached us with an attitude. Didn't want to hear what the employee had done or said. We left the buggie with our items we had planned to purchase and was headed out, he continued to follow us all the way outside, and cursed at us.
Never again! If we ever go back to a Burlington store, you can bet it won't be this one.
Worst and most humiliating shopping experience I've ever had.

So my kids and niece was finding clothes so this employee Neteisha (with the glasses) decided to announce over the speaker keep your kids with you. So you mean to tell me my kids can't go look for them a couple outfits want be going back there again.I can see if they was yelling screaming not the case.
Store organization is now a mess with Long lines at the cash register. Worse of all, their cloths, shoes, belts etc... are low quality and do not last longer anymore. I don't think i will be shopping there anymore!
Burlington Post Pandemic has become trash!
Ordered two clearance items that were medium size and porcelain. Both were shipped in a barely bubble wrapped bag. Completely shattered into a million pieces, also the wrong colors. Why be that lazy of a company to not get the consumer there products in one piece. Absolutely incompetent people in packing and shipping. It's basic 101 how to wrap an item so it doesn't shatter. Shows how much or little I should say the company cares in training there employees and getting good reviews online. Won't be ordering from then ever again.
I do love shopping at Burlington, so a bad experience won't make me go elsewhere, but I feel it's absolutely necessary to leave a review. The cashier I just had was so miserable. There was no hello or goodbye, nothing. She did whisper me my total. It's not the customers job to be welcoming. I'm not sure how people get hired with such nasty personalities, apparently that's a requirement these days.

I returned some items for a refund and the cashier said my refund would go back on my debit card, well it never did. Come to find out she did it as cash and pocket the money. The manager said he saw the video it shows her giving me the $ which is an absolute lie! So everyone watch your receipts! They are very shady there!
Tip for consumers:
Check your receipts closely
I went to a Burlington last week in Pembroke Pines FL. I had shopped at a Burlington Coat Factory in the past (probably 5 years ago) and got some nice jeans and a jacket. There were absolutely no coats or jackets in the store last week. It looked like a Ross Department store. A bunch of cheap stuff with a huge long line for the cash register (apparently someone is buying their clothes). I left.
Tip for consumers:
I did not order online.

I went to a physical store but left without buying anything. The line for the cash register would have taken at least 30 minutes.
Burlington used to be awesome for coats.
Now they have a small anemic selection
Of low quality coats. I gave them another chance this year. Same shabby selection of coats.
The general clothing Is aimed at high school age customers with bad taste.
I had shopped in their stores, this was my first (and last) online order. It was purchased 3 weeks ago. I cannot contact Burlington by emails or phone calls. They are making sure of that. Every one of my emails are ignored, no matter whom you try to contact. The 855 number will not answer, even after calling them at all different times/days. You won't talk to a live human, even after waiting over 40 mins each time. I can't track an order, as you have to create an online account in order to do. Cannot do that either, as their site consistently says "having trouble with this issue, try again later" for 3 weeks. So, my order was paid for within 2 hours, but my order is non existent. Calling an actual store got me no where, no matter what manager or supervisor I spoke with. I was told it simply wasn't their problem, as the order was not purchased at their store. This is plain simple fraud. I have had to contact the corporate office and have now filed a lawsuit.

I approve Burlington coat factory in Danbury to be a really nice shopping place. I shop there. They have good things, even nice clearances. Good buy. Children things aswell. Both male and female garments. Nice matching earrings and necklace. I always do walk in and shop. Not a bad place to me. Affordable prices. Nice fancy things on clearances.
Although I love shopping at their store, I do not recommend ordering anything from their website. Ordered a pair of socks for my sons baptism and they were marked as delivered (when they weren't). It was probably Fedex that messed up the delivery which was annoying but when I contacted Burlington, instead of them offering a resolution (like contacting fedex, sending out another pair, providing a refund), I was told that I would have to file a dispute with my credit card. This is completely ridiculous- they should contact fedex and file a claim. I shop online for convenience- not to have another task to add to my to-do list. Will not shop there anymore
I ordered a vanity set for my grand daughter's 3rd birthday online from Burlington on August 9,2018. Not hearing anything from them on the delivery date which was to be 5-8 days, I contacted customer service. I received an email on August 21,2018 stating the item was out of stock. It took Burlington almost 2 weeks to determine an item was out of stock. I will never shop at Burlington's again.
Witness some I guess manager speaking to a young man working as if he was her child, the embarrassing things she said and did but not once offered to help him im pretty sure he's a minor and I would be irate if it was my child, whoever terry or Terri is on 132 nd and center needs to be retrained or terminated

I applied and was approved for this card $500 limit and was using it and paying it. Then one day while completing my final $17 payment I noticed it said no available credit. I called them and was told that they closed my account with no explanation. Received a letter which only confirmed the my card account was closed by the bank and could not be reopened but, I can reapply! No thanks I'll pass, it's not that serious! Just was a little disappointed smh
WHY on earth would a department store remove the option for people to shop online? Especially during Christmas season and a pandemic? Encouraging customers to physically go to their local stores and shop. Again, during Christmas season and a pandemic! The logic in this must be invisible. I used to love this store but, sadly, I am not sure if ill ever spend my money there again. I am shocked and disappointed!
I will never make business with this credit card company. You never see any difference on the balance even if you make more than the minimum payment required. I requested to close my account since they are not willing to help the customer. I will not recommend this store and credit card to anyone….
Burlington at 2614 Golf Road, Glenview, IL *******-4744 overall is okay.
The front-end manager is always nice and takes good care of me. However, Rose, a cashier is extremely rude. Avoid going to her line to check out at all costs. She is extremely extremely rude!
I have no problems shopping in their store but online is a complete ripoff. I paid for the product and never received anything. Reaching their customer service is impossible. I lost my money and will be calling my bank next to attempt getting my money back.
I ordered an item online and they shipped the wrong size item - medium instead of large. Burlington doesn't really want to cover the $7.99 so they wanted me to drive 40 miles to the nearest store to do an exchange. Then they decided I could ship the merchandise back and, after they received it, in about 10 days they would issue a credit and I could buy something else online. Then I would pay shipping again and, after that they would try to refund the shipping for the 2nd time, not the 1st time. Finally I did return the merchandise to the store to save the hassle and 2 weeks to return it by mail and get a refund from that - and the store would not do anything about the shipping charges I paid for incorrect merchandise. So, I used the gift card from the store to order more stuff online, had to pay shipping again, and now hoping to get a refund for the 2nd shipping charges. What a terrible company to do business with! NEVER AGAIN!
Tip for consumers:
Don't buy from Burlington online! If they ship the wrong item, you've got a big headache.

Went into the store to use a gift card I had for over a year. When I went to pay someone had used it across the country from me! They must have got the number from burlington because I have the card. Ashamed that burlington will do nothing about it
I was disappointed in the chevron top I bought for my daughter. I ordered it online and I ordered a 10/12 and when I got it, it was the size of a 7/8. I ordered the next size up which was the 12/14. The top came and it was not any longer it just had more space for the arms. What the heck. I always shop in the store and it just shows that I should not shop for that store online.
I went with my boyfriend to help him suit shop and the lady or clerk who works in the mens changing room asked no not step in any further. What if I wanted to give my bf more clothes or exchange a size for him and to be able to see how the outfits fits him. I didnt question her why but what if I was transgender would she have asked me and why is their a divide between men and women what if a female want to shop in mens section, she has to go over and bring clothes all the way over to maladies changing room. It shouldnt matter there are doors on all of the rooms. Get with the program and make them unisex
The line to pay in different locations of Burlington in Puerto Rico are over 40 minutes of time. All Burlington are under staff. Today my husband went to buy. After 20 minutes decided to return home. We came back 3 hours later and we are over 40 minutes to pay our purchase and we are still waiting in Burlington ar The Outlet Mall. This unacceptable. Please correct this issue. The same happened in Carolina, Caguas and Cayey.
