Ordered a new turbo and was sent a used, damaged part. Called them and took 3 days to finally get ahold of someone at which point they told me that they didnt have another one. Sent back the part and waited 2 weeks still no refund. Called them and they say UPS lost it. Been over a month and still no refund.
They said it would take 2 days to ship, but what they dont tell you when you buy, is it takes even longer to process. To make them process it quicker call them and tell them you want it processed. Then it arrived 2 days later
Buy auto parts has really good OEM prices for stock parts when you need them. Lower than dealer prices. Shipping is free. I have been buying OEM and taking it to a cheap garage for the install to save money. You can cut your repair jobs by 50% doing it this way.
Although I went through a little confusion because of the internet and my failure to read the entire part description, the return process was pretty seamless, they worked with me and I had no issues getting a refund in a timely manner. The initial delivery was quick. The only downside is how when you shop on the internet, ask for a part for a specific vehicle, such as a compressor, there site comes up showing a photo of a compressor whether or not they actually have it for that vehicle. This is fairly common with part house though.
After ordering a rack and pinion assembly from a bogus company in Florida, we found BAP on line.
The ordering process was transparent and easy. The replacement part arrived sooner than expected. Unfortunately the weather has not been conducive for outdoor work.
I expect this part to be the solution to an on-going problem.

When all you're doing is looking at a computer screen and have no automotive background you can't tr u st you'll get the right part. Triple checked/verified fit vin number given and still got the wrong parts. The computer and site have them marked incorrectly.

I bought an a/c compressor and dryer on August 9th. The dryer was the incorrect part. When I called customer service a few days later they said I would need to send a picture of the part numbers that where sent to me. This information was clearly on the order form etc. When I asked to speak to a supervisor the person hung up the phone on me.
I have since sent all requested pictures since they have not responded to any communications with customer service. It is now late September and I still have received nothing from them about correcting this error on their part.
I could attempt to return everything but am uncertain whether I would receive a refund.
Extremely poor business practices and handling of a simple issue.
I am now stuck with the additional cost of buying the right part elsewhere.

Sent the wrong part, denied that they sold the part I ordered, even though it is still on their website, and expected me to return it at my expense even though the error was clearly and fully theirs. Buyer beware, but never again for me!

The product failed in less than one year. The bearing was defective. They, of course, would do nothing about it, as it was almost 12 most. Do not get caught up with the low prices. This is a sham operation.
It has been a few days now since I've been trying to reach this company to correct my order. I ordered a set of struts for my sister in laws car, for which I paid around 300 dollars. I received the wrong parts and have not been able to reach this company to correct my order.
I've called all of their customer service numbers for the last 6 days each time on hold for an average of 30 to 45 min with no answer. I've only received 1 email back, and that email stated to call the customer service line.
I guess I'm out 300 dollars and stuck with parts I can't use and frustration every time I think about this website.
I'm sticking with Amazon from now on with any online ordering, at least with Amazon I know I can get my money back or the right part.
So far I've waited on the phone to talk to customer service twice, both times over 30 min and never reached a living person. I've emailed them with no response and I've only received half of my order. Never received shipping information, even though they say they will email once it ships with tracking.
Ordering from this website is like throwing your money out the window and hoping you will receive what you want. I'm no stranger to my orders being held up by unexpected hang-ups, I get that, but USUALLY, I've been informed on what is going on. But with nothing, no email, text or phone call with what is going on is unacceptable.
Stay away from this ripoff of a site. It's funny how the review site they list on their Twitter page is nothing but 5-star reviews... I noticed my 1-star review was not posted there...
buyautoparts.com needs to step up and accept when they messed up, not just ignore their customers and keep their money.
I think a class action lawsuit for false advertising is needed. In fact, in some states there can be criminal charges associated with false advertising. Even one person can sue them for this in small claims court. Sometimes that's all you can do to sit a company down and let them know the BS isn't going to be tolerated.
They send faulty parts, leave people on hold for hours, make returns next to impossible, send parts that do not fit car and tons of other issues. There are bad reviews everywhere for this company on the Better Business Bureau, Amazon, EBay, Trust Pilot, Reseller Ratings, Yelp and it's the same thing over and over again. They advertise the EXACT opposite on their website and when you call into their customer service line. It's false advertising and it's about time we get these jokers legally to stop the BS and lies.
I recently just bought a 1998 H1 civilian version, which is close to the full military style.
I need a steering box, and Buy Auto Parts had it to my door within 3 days and with a return form for my core.
I was highly impressed being it was a H1 and a 1998 model.

I purchased a turbo that did not fit even though their website stated it did. The website says easy return, but when I call to return they repeatedly hang up on me. The phone representative was nice and polite until he found out I needed to return a product. He then extremely rude and arrogant and hung up. I called back 4 times and was hung up on every time. The absolute worst company I have dealt with in quite some time. I will never use this shady company again.

Absolutely trash customer service. And the product is absolutely terrible. Didn't even last 8 months, at about 600 miles a month. Not they expect you to pay for another one just to get your broken part warrantied. I recommend any other shop!
Their vehicle catalog is incorrect, therefore we received the incorrect part. Not a big deal, easy to rectify, however this company's customer service is horrible. After several attempts calling to get it resolved, several times being hung up on and several false promises of a call back, I got frustrated and ordered through another company. Now they are witholding my funds, stating that its their policy to only give a "credit" not a refund. Absolute BS and scam.

I placed an order for window rain guards on June 17th 2020. After waiting over a month for delivery and no update I decided to reach out. The process in total from the initial call took about 3 weeks with over 5 hours spent on hold with customer service. No one here seems to be able to wipe their own backside much less help you with your order. After weeks of trying to find out what happened with my order i was finally told it was on "back order" with no ecd. So in other words the were holding my money free of charge with no product for delivery in sight. I could go on for days about how terrible their support and operations team is but to save myself and hopefully you the headache I would simply just recommend ordering from another vendor. If you decide not to take my advice I wish you the best but don't be surprised when you find yourself right here writing a poor review of your own in a few months.

They helped me with an exchange. Their customer service over the phone was great. I did have a long wait time for one of my calls. I only mention this in case you're trying to get a hold of them before a deadline. Make sure you give yourself ample time to take care of it. I missed my deadline for a refund, but I remembered the date wrong.

Bought a turbo for 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0 Diesel paid $631.00 to have it installed and the turbo is defective. Call the company and they are giving me crazy options to make this wrong a write. I will never buy a part from this company again.
I got a new turbo for my 6.6 Ram at half the cost the dealer was asking for. The part came with free shipping and showed up in just a few days. I highly recommend these guys. I will be back again whenever I need another part.
Purchased some front windscreen wipers for my car via the website. Entered what my car was and the website listed all the compatible wipers. Purchased some. Delivery took quite a long time. When they eventually arrived tried to fit them to my car and they don't fit. Contacted customer services and explained that I had used there make and model search tool to find the correct wipers only to be told it doesn't work very well and I should have emailed customer services to check! It didn't state this anywhere when I was purchasing. I asked for a refund / send them back only to be told that I would have to pay for the postage back! It's not even my fault! It's the fault of the companies website not explaining their system does not work! So now I'm in a battle with customer services to get free postage for a return which is their fault! This is extremely poor customer service. I am never using this company again and would advise everyone to do the same!

I ordered an AC Compressor from this company, and received confirmation on the order. After 1 week of waiting I looked on the site with that order, and it was showing status "Processing". I called CS, they found out after some time that the order was cancelled, bcs they don't have the part. I asked why they accepted the order then? The representative couldn't explain.
