I'll definitely be contacting BAP in the future for my parts needs. Racks and pumps aren't as easy to find recently for the last generation 350z, but thankfully they had one available. I received it in just a few days. Thanks BAP!
Ordered a new turbo and was sent a used, damaged part. Called them and took 3 days to finally get ahold of someone at which point they told me that they didnt have another one. Sent back the part and waited 2 weeks still no refund. Called them and they say UPS lost it. Been over a month and still no refund.
I received the AC compressor quickly and it is working fine. It was an exact replacement for my old compressor.

**HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE**
I WILL NEVER do business with this vendor again. I'm not sure about their other parts, but be advised not to buy a Rack & Pinion here.
Purchased a rack & pinion that I paid my local Chevy dealer to install. The first rack I received was SEIZED to the point where the dealer couldn't get my car out of their service bay! I was unable to drive my car an inch with rack & pinion #1.
The 2nd rack & pinion was quickly sent - kudos to their shipping department. I was able to drive 5 miles with rack & Pinion #2, then it would bind up when the fluid warmed, causing a loss of power steering.
This vendor refuse any responsibility for labor on DEFECTIVE PARTS! When confronted, they offered to refund money on the part once they received the core. Kudos on this, as they were prompt in the refund process.
Meanwhile, I had spent nearly $1,100+ on labor installing two consecutive defective parts, and had to pay for labor a 3rd time after purchasing a Rack & pinion that works from a different vendor.

Don't buy a remanufactured rack & pinion from this vendor.

I placed an order on June 28th for an AC compressor through their sister site, DiscountACparts.com. The price was VERY good and it arrived very quickly. I was hesitant to trust them as their compressor came up in a Google search result and the pricing seemed too good to be true. I have three older Audis and decided to then proceed with ordering two more compressors via the BAP site as they were still sitting in my cart from my initial search back on the 28th of June. I realized BAP was just another umbrella site for the parent company, GPD so I figured it would be OK as well. Wrong!
On July 1st I ordered two more AC compressors at their good pricing. My order just sat there... processing. It was of course the July 4th holiday so I assumed that might back things up a bit. Then I got back to work and busy and realized, hey, I haven't gotten my order yet. Checked online and still processing but of course I paid back on July 1st. Two support emails went unanswered.
Today, July 18th I hop onto live chat to get things resolved. Diane is the online chat agent and at first tries to tell me that my order had been delivered (uh, that's the first order). Then she looks into order #2 and comes back to say those compressors are back-ordered and the order was cancelled. Oddly, I never got word of this and had been given no refund etc. In the meantime, BAP increased the price of the compressors on their web site to $312 and I told Diane in chat that they show them as in stock, and I bet that if I were to order one now at that price I'd get it. She transfers my chat to Anthony in sales... and sure enough, they have TEN of them in stock but just didn't want to honor my order because THEY had screwed up on their pricing within their catalog.
The best part? I had enough sense to screen record my entire interaction with them and fully caught them in the lie. As of writing this revue, still no official cancellation notice. I initially said I had no received a refund yet but it does appear they did refund me. The video of my BAP experience will be coming to YouTube soon as well... I am not sure if anyone has had the unfortunate opportunity to do business with a online company by the name of buyautoparts.com without going into much detail let me say this. I ordered and paid for a compressor kit, it did not have all the parts in it so they took out the price of the unavailable part but the kit was higher than another kit that came without the part. So I cancelled it.
I then ordered the other kit without the condenser for much cheaper plus next day shipping to get it yo me quick. After ordering I went back in the site to check my order and notice that it said all ac compressors get free next day shipping. So I called to get that. The guy who answered the phone was rude and said "and?" So I said I would like you to refund my shipping cost and give me the free shipping that you advertised. He grudgingly mumbled something and said I will transfer to mmmmm. I did not understand who he said and asked again, who was he transferring to and he said the exact same thing. Mmmmmm. Next thing you know I am listening to hold music…
When the so say manager or supervisor came on I asked if I had to repeat the situation or was it relayed to him he said no I just need your telephone number. But I could instantly tell that the last guy must have said something derogatory about me because there wasn't even a hint of customer service in this guys voice. He said that my parts were ordered late yesterday and that it shows that the parts were in the way and if there was anything else I needed. I explained that was not the intent of my call. I tried to explain that because of the ad on the websit I was looking for a refund. He said I Had ordered a package or kit with a compressor in the kit But the add is only for a compressor being purchased on its own and do I want a refund. I was floored at this that I did not even know what to say. He immediately said is there anything else that I can do for you and waited a second and hung up on me. Now you look at this and tell me what you see…
I will post this in as many places as possible because if I can stop just one person from dealing with these guys I feel I have saved someone from a embarrassing headache.
On July 6,2020 I placed an order for $41.34 with them via Ebay for a 1999 Dodge RAM 2500 New A/C Liquid Line w/Orifice Tube. As I live in San Diego and this company is located here in San Diego, I was surprised it still took them 3 days to get the product to me. Notwithstanding this, the product they sent was for a 1994-1997 Dodge RAM 2500. It of course DID NOT fit.
I contacted the company via email and Ebay and asked to return the product and to have a refund. After MANY emails to/from them, they finally told me to throw away the product (which I did) and they refunded $33.84. When I asked for the balance they stated the following: " the part price is $31.41 plus tax (CA) $2.43 plus the freight charge $7.50 total of $41.34" and they refused to refund me the difference of $7.50 stating: "we can only refund the freight charges $7.50." This is probably the only value of this cheap aluminum line made in China.
They also keep SPAMMING my email even though I have tried twice to UNSUBSCRIBE from them so now their emails (almost daily) go into my SPAM box to be automatically deleted.
Bottom line: $7.50 is not much but it IS MONEY and it is the principal of doing business honestly and correctly. When I couldn't wait to place another order as I had to get the pickup trucks air conditioner working (it's been over 100f here in my area) I had to purchase the part from the Dodge Dealer at over $237.00 plus tax. I also recently had open heart surgery therefore it was imperative that I get the air conditioner working so I could drive to the Cardiologist's office for follow-up. With all of this said and including the constant SPAMMING, this company refuses to do the right thing.
