I sent in my iPhone 12 Pro weeks ago. The staff immediately got in touch with and responded to my emails multiple times throughout the day so it thought it was a legitimate business. The second the said they sent my payment, Radio silence. I was told my check would be 3-5 days and It's been 3 weeks and I'm out $600 that I was promised and I can't even get my phone back. I have sent multiple emails and called and received no responses back.
Felt the company "low-balled" me at time of settlement. However they did provide the purchase funds quickly once I accepted their offer. I would advise future selling clients to fully document their phone's condition and the advertised purchase price prior to shipping their phone off.
I sent my tab they offered me 130$ for. They said it was locked even though I had reset it and a bunch of back and forth so I ended up having to send my password and just for them to say it was in good condition and offer me $0 lol then asked if I wanted to have it back or donate it. I said I wanted it back and it's been over a month and I got nothing. They had made the offer knowing what tablet it was and said it was in good condition. Right after that someone managed to hack my accounts which has never happened to me before. Wonder who did that. This company is a scam. Literally. My tablets exact modle number that I looked up when getting the quote was on there. I literally followed their exact instructions.

First off, I can assure you we didn't utilize any passwords or hack into any accounts. The device you sent in had a Samsung account still on the device which locked it and prevented us and any user from testing the device. The credential you sent to remove your Samsung account was used on the physical device you sent in to sell and we only used it to remove the Samsung account only. In no way would we misuse or reopen any credential provided.
Additionally, it appears the device sent in was not the model indicated in your order which is why the offer fell to $0. The device you sent in is not actually a device we purchase so we offered to recycle the item or get it sent back.

I sent in my phone based on the original offer. They then "inspected" my phone and told me it was worth a third of the price. I had them send it back and it came back without the SIM card. They stole the SIM card! There is no way to contact them. Only an email address.

I assure you we are not a scam and did not steal a SIM card from you. Listed in our FAQ page is a question regarding what happens to accessories and any items sent with an order. The answer listed is that they will be recycled and under no circumstance will they be returned (as we have recycled them). SIM cards are luckily free from your carrier should you need one.

I sent in two iPhones, listing them as "good" condition. When they received the phones, they upgraded one to "mint" and increased their payout accordingly. Their handling was thorough, taking the time they had estimated -- and of course I'm very pleased with the outcome!
I sent my phone to buyback boss. I put the phone covered with foam in a cardboard box, then I wrapped the box with extra foam and put them in another shipping box. I did a drop test 4 feet from the ground before the box was full sealed. And there was no damage to the phone and the box. But Buyback boss did not pay me. They said the phone is damaged. It is a scam. Do sell anything buyback boss, especially when you have a good phone. They will say your phone is damaged. It is a SCAM

Upon receiving an order, we unpack it and immediately place all devices into protective padded sleeves with your order label. From here we test the order for completion. Your order was tested and we emailed over the testing results. The testing results stated we received a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus under the “Damaged” condition due to a cracked back glass and screen separation. We included an updated offer price with the tested results to reflect the “Damaged” condition. After you received the testing results, you asked for your order to be sent back free of charge. We shipped your order back free of charge right away. The testing results only report what we receive and the condition we receive each item in from the mail carrier. If your item was not damaged prior to shipping, unfortunately it sounds like this happened during transit to us.

I bought a new iPad and wanted to sell my old one. I shopped around online and Buyback Boss offered the best deal. I contacted them and they agreed to buy my iPad. They emailed me a shipping label and within a few days of their receiving my iPad, I received a check for the agreed upon amount. Could not have been any simpler.
They will tell you they will give you one amount, then reduce it after they keep it for three weeks without paying you. When you tell them no send it back they scratch the screen and send it back to you! DO NOT Send them your phone

I have tried other trade-in services, but I keep coming back to Buyback boss. They are fair with their analysis and they pay above the quoted price when the trade-in item warrants more. Will continue to choose Buyback boss over the others.
The estimate provided to the customer during the online assessment is very high but you end up getting a lot less than the online estimate. I know that we are selling used phones but at least online assessment could show lower estimates.

I had never used a site like Buyback Boss before, however I had broken my iPhone 6 and it was just laying around. So I decided to research what I could do with it. It appears you placed an order to sell a device in “Mint” condition where the offer was $292 + a bonus code. When placing an order on our site, the “Mint” condition is described to be a cosmetically flawless device with no noticeable wear. Upon receipt of the order, we found the device had noticeable wear in the form of a blemish on the back housing near the camera and at the charge port. Because of this, the device fit our “Good” condition where the offer was $270 + a bonus code and this is what we communicated to you via email with an updated offer. I had an iPhone X that I decided to sell with BuyBackBoss. They quoted me $164 based on the age and condition of the phone. When they received the phone, they told me the battery was older than expected and the offer turned out to be $40 to buy the phone. I asked for the phone to be returned since many other services were offering at least $140. The offer went up to $50 when I first asked for the phone to be returned. I said no again, and this time told them it was because I knew I could sell it for more Miraculously, the offer went up to $140, which I did ultimately accept.
I can't help but think this was a bit of a deceptive play on their part. If someone didn't know any better, they may have accepted the price of $40. I will not use them again.

This condition requires the device to have a battery with a battery quality above 80% or higher. The battery quality results were lower than 80%. This caused your device to fall under our "Faulty" condition and was the result of your price decrease. We made you an additional offer to pass you any costs we would have incurred if we had sent the order back and ultimately we accepted a price match for your order.
