I sold them a total of 4 phones, in two separate orders, 2 each. The first order they tried to talk me down $210 less and said the flawless iPhone 14 pro I sent in had dents and scratches and it definitely did not. They sent me photos and it looked like dust on the phone. I was unhappy so they gave me $190 of it back. Now the other two I sent they are telling me the conditions are not the way I described and offered the next tier down for each device, even though listed on their website the prices for those tiers were much higher. I do not suggest this company they hope you will just take less.

I was treated fairly and honestly. I appreciate that. I was shocked at the initial notification that my device had some issues, and asked them to please personally review for accuracy. They came back and said that all was good and gave me the payment I desired. I am glad that they are honest and pay what they say (which is higher than the rest, by the way). I have used them before and will continue to do so. I have also used other services that helped me to declutter my top drawer and they are never to be used again by me because they lie cheat and steal. Its BUYBACKBOSS from now on for me

On the website, it Says get paid fast for your phone 3 to 5 days. I sent two photos to them. They received them last Monday. Today is Wednesday. It's been well over a week. I was offered a certain amount on both phones. They came back with the counter offer. One of the phones had a little scratch on the corner so they only want to give half of what they tell you. The other phone they said was locked, which is not true. I've had multiple carriers on the phone. It's a rip off they want you to send them your phone promising you this money and once they get it you're mercy now. This is your warning do not do it
SCAM. SELLER BEWARE. I sent my mint condition iPad Pro to them after getting a reasonable quote and they then offered a much lower price upon inspection, claiming the screen was scratched. Expecting such a scam was a possibility, I photographed the iPad in detail before sending and can verify it was in perfect condition, which also makes sense because I used it very lightly, at home, and babied it, for less than a year. Then, when I declined their offer and requested they send the iPad back, they sent it back WITHOUT all the accessories and Apple box I sent the iPad in. So, they stole my box and accessories, reducing resale value, and scratched my iPad. They refuse to make restitution and I will be taking them to small claims court. AVOID. SCAM.

I can assure you that our evaluations are honest and fair. We are a small business of about 25 people and not only would damaging a customer's device be unethical, it would not benefit us as a business because the device would then be considered to be of a much lower value. Damaging devices would also put us out of business on reputation alone as a quick search online will show that we have served hundreds of satisfied customers.
The scratching we identified was light but can be seen at about arm's length under direct office lighting which is why we graded your devices into average condition. The frame of your device is in flawless condition and the scratching cannot be felt to the touch. Your device has clearly been well cared for and we did not mean to cause any ill-will with our evaluation. If you would like to provide us with the photos you described, I would be happy to take a look to see if there is anything we can do to improve your experience with us.
As mentioned in our emails, please note that any accessories sent with the device are recycled responsibly upon receipt of the order. This detail can be found on our FAQ page.

Was promised $171 on line for my iPhone X Verizon 256GB which was in excellent condition. I sent it to them in the original box with the brand new earphones. Once they received it, they stated the battery was bad (I had never experienced a problem with the battery) and offered me $40! When I told them I wanted my phone back in the exact condition I sent it, I was told that they no longer had the original box and new earphones. They essentially held my phone hostage. What BS! After much back and forth, I was able to get them to pay me $100. I will never do business with them again and I would not recommend them to anyone. Notice all the bad reviews and how they have an "explanation" for all of them. Seller beware!
Sent in a fully functioning flawless looking iPhone 11 Pro Max, which was quoted at $330. After their scam of a review they only offered $80 because of some vibration noise that didn't exist when I had the phone.

If i could give ZERO STARS i would. I have never worked with such a poor buyback company. They did not even give me 25% of their estimated buyback cost and I turned in completely top quality, top condition products. They made up a completely fictional problems that cannot be backed up. I could've sold these for more online then they offered me. I will never use this company again, absolutely the worst. A scam.
This "business" is a total scam and fraud. They will provide you with nice estimated value and upon receiving your phone they will find some non-existent issues. Then you will receive email offering to pay you $0. I guess they think is funny. Stay away from this fraudsters.
I'm disappointed. I requested my phone back. They claimed large scratches before sent in j had from and back replaced. I was offered much more online but I went with the original quote. Sorry but I can get almost double.
I was offered $139 for my iPhone SE and when they got it they told me it would be 5 to 7 days before they even got to it to check it out because they were behind because they were getting 600 phones a day. The website said I would receive my money within five business days. They offered me $80 because they said there was scratches on my phone which I have pictures of that. There was none when I sent it off. After several days of going back-and-forth they finally came up to $140. It took three more days for them to process my payment. Processing my payment through another company took another two days so all in all it took almost 2 1/2 to 3 weeks for me to get my payment. This place did not do anything they claim online, and it took forever for me to get my money I would never ever use them again.

The process took a lot longer than was quoted from the beginning of the process. They tried to lowball me saying that there was scratches on my phone that were not there when I sent the phone off. They finally came up on the price after I asked them to send the phone back to me. it took over two weeks for me to get paid for something. They said I would get paid within five business days after they receive the order.

Giving one star but should be zero. Was quoted $638 trade in on my iPhone 12 Pro. When it was received the revised quote was half that as buybackboss claims extensive scratching that was barely visible in the pic they sent me. Definitely a bait and switch as they quote the most and revise the offer once they have your phone and assume you just want to finish the transaction. It's been 5 days since they low balled me and they still have not sent payment.
I have sold phones else where and recommend trying any other service to buy used electronics. They obviously take advantage of people and use sketchy practices to offer the most and pay the least.

The device condition the order was described to be was the “Good” condition, meaning the device was fully functional and could have signs of use with no major cosmetic damage. When your device completed testing by our expert operations team, the device was found to be “Fair” condition. Our “Fair” condition is for fully functional devices that have signs of heavy use such as deep and excessive scratches, dents, or scuffs and screen scratches that are deep enough to be felt. Your device has signs of heavy use in the form of deep and excessive scratches on the front glass. The scratches were also deep enough to be felt during our testing process and were prominent enough throughout the screen to still be visible while the screen was on. We were able to send clear photos of this wear with the screen both off and on to you during the order process.

It's a bait and switch scam. They tell you one price upfront and then you send your phone in and they say the battery is less than 80%. They will offer your phone back, but who knows what they have done to it. I have sold phones to similar companies without an issue. Stay far away from this group.

I have been very impressed with buyback boss and would highly recommend. The communication through your the process is incredible. Every person I have ever spoken, emailed or chatted with has gone above and beyond to deliver great service!
Felt the company "low-balled" me at time of settlement. However they did provide the purchase funds quickly once I accepted their offer. I would advise future selling clients to fully document their phone's condition and the advertised purchase price prior to shipping their phone off.

They make it very easy with their return shipping - and while I would've liked more for my cell phone, they certainly did not lowball me. It was a fair price. Also, received the check in a timely manner, which I appreciated.
The estimate provided to the customer during the online assessment is very high but you end up getting a lot less than the online estimate. I know that we are selling used phones but at least online assessment could show lower estimates.
