They've been holding my iphone for more than 2 weeks, i can't track my phone and i can't reach anyone from their company. I've traded phone in with other online company and usually i get paid within a week! What takes them so long? What made no one to respond my email & phone calls? I would call it scam till someone reply me! And if i don't hear them soon, i will take legal actions again your company!

ÏThey are totally scam artists. Didn't give me a price until about the 60-day mark which is well beyond their 10-day promise. Then they drop 3 perfectly good phones from $35 down to $0.50 and $0.25. After 6 or 7 emails that was their solution. They are legit scams do not do business with them. You're warned

Hi Joey, We're sorry you weren't happy with your experience with us on your most recent transactions. Since your orders came when we were transitioning to a new facility in order to better service our customers there was a delay in processing your orders. As it stands, in regards to your iPhone 5C order; we emailed you on 11/06/2018 in regards to removing the iCloud lock on the device in order for us to proceed with inspection. We have not heard back from you yet regarding this issue. On 11/20/2018 your LG G4 device failed inspection due to: Condition difference. You checked out an LG G4 Verizon device in Excellent condition. However, upon inspection of the device it was found that the device has a cracked camera glass and a cracked screen. Due to this you were sent a revised offer of $2.00 for your device. You then proceeded to accept the revised offer on the same day and your payment is currently being processed. As for your order regarding your iPhone 4S device it was found that you sent in an additional iPhone 4S device. We ask that in the future that you please create an order for your device in order to receive updates on your device once your device has been inspected. It was determined that both your iPhone 4S devices failed inspection on 11/01/2018 due to: Will not power on. For that you were sent a revised offer of $0.25 for your device. You then accepted the revised offer on 11/03/2018 and your payment was sent out to you on 11/06/2018. We know we may value devices differently than you that is why we offer hassle free returns in the event of a return circumstance so there is never any risk or obligation when trying out our services as long as we hear back from you within one week from when the revised offer was sent to you. Thanks again and we look forward to hearing back from you in the near future.

Total waste of time. Graphics card. I requested a shipping kit on 12/13/2021. Waited a month for it never to arrive. I contacted them and they sent a new one. Had to email them in every step of the way to see what is going on with it. Price went from 92$ to 40$ because "Dirty". It wasn't dirty at all. Less than 1/2 the price that was quoted to me. Only a 3 dollar can of duster is needed to fix any sort of dust that could possibly be a problem. Choose another company if you are reading this.

There are lots of services like this: do not use buybackworld. They are slow. Customer service is terrible (email only, no phone number -- always a bad sign). It has been over 2 months since sending them a tablet. They kept delaying processing and then failed to meet a deadline they set for themselves. Even after contacting them multiple times, they have not resolved my issue and have not sent the agreed upon dollar amount for the tablet. I have now filed a complaint with the NYS Consumer Protection department. Just use another service. They are not worth the aggravation.

Terrible experience. The prices offered are far less than Card Kangaroo. There was a problem with the link to print out an address label to send in the GC's and that required extra time and effort. The processing is too slow. It took 1 week for the 1st GC to be reviewed and another week for the 2nd. I got an email 2 weeks ago indicating payment was coming but still has not arrived.

I sent in 3 iPads using the label they provided. Waited but never heard back so I emailed them (no phone contact) they emailed back that I needed to contact the post office. I did and usps said it is clear that it was delivered and handed to a person at the correct address. Contacted buybackworld and they disagreed. USPS supervisor called me and said just enter the tracking # and you will see it was delivered along with other packages, shows date/time and handed to an employee. $193 value, no response back from buybackworld. Tracking shows delivered to individual.

Horrible company whom does not stand by their products. Screwed me out of my money when they delilvered my order to wrong address and was signed for by person other than anyone from mynlocation. If anything happens to your deliver they will take your money and not refund you as most companies do

Fed Ex would not accept what Buyback sent me as a packing slip. They also
Wanted a separate shipping label. I got BuyBack to re-send the documents, but they
Again only sent me a packing slip to print. NO LABEL.
I tried calling the number listed at their website, and it doesn't answer. It says they
Can take a message, but there is no indication of what company you actually got ahold of. Sounds like they do business in some kid's garage.

They give you a quote. Then they find something wrong and amend the quote. It's what all these companies do now no one is honest anymore. Then they will send it back! Ok but that's now how I sent it in so I can't do anything with it now!

I sent in a Samsung phone which according to their website would be worth about $10. They received it on September 3rd. I waited and waited to get a response back. On October 3rd, having heard nothing from them, I asked for a status. I received a generic email stating that they were upgrading their facilities and that I should expect a turnaround time of 20 days instead of 2 days. Note: 30 days had already passed. So we continue waiting. Finally, on November 14, I receive a reply stating that the phone had a cracked LCD (it did not when I sent it. It was only scratched) and that they were only offering 25 cents for it. I went back to their website to look up my phone. They no longer accept it. So bottom line, after waiting almost two and half months, they decide they no longer want the phone and are now claiming that it is more damaged then when I sent it in.

I sent my phone in to sell. After 21 days, I received an email saying that BuyBackWorld reduced my $120 offer to $40 because they said the phone had a cracked screen. The phone was mailed, using their mailing label in its original Apple box, and did NOT have a cracked screen when I mailed it. I have attempted to contact them via Chat during their posted Chat hours and via email to customer support and asked them to file a claim with the USPS if the phone did indeed arrive with a cracked screen, because it was in perfect condition when I sent it. I am not feeling at all confident that I will hear from them before their deadline to accept or decline the offer by 6/3/19. I assume that that is how they get away with this - stall until it's too late.

Only downside was they take-off a few precent to pay you electronically & the packaging envelope they provided was too small & wouldn't have protected the item well (so I used a box). Overall very satisfied & would use them again.

This company is absolutely a scam. They don't honor what they have agreed to pay for my phone. They counter offer with a less than half of the original agreed price. I rejected the counter offer and asked to return my phone, they than return the phone to me without the brand new original box, earphone and power adapter.

This company do not deserve any star! I gave them 1 star as I am force to, without giving them at least 1 star the review wont' process. This company deserve to close their business not conning/hurting anymore people

I sent two items in almost a month ago and I still haven't recieved payment for either. I've gotten a few "status update" emails that were too little, too late and I was told over a week ago that I would recieve payment for one of the items in 2-3 business days... that certainly hasn't happened. Customer service has stopped responding to my emails. I've never encountered a company with worse business practices than BuyBackWorld. I've resold electronics to other companies before and had smooth experiences. I would avoid BuyBackWorld.

As it stands, on 08/13/2018 your Apple Watch passed inspection for the Fully Quoted Value of $110. Additionally, we emailed you on 08/13/2018 in regards to your iPad 4th Generation being iCloud locked. In order to proceed with inspection we ask that you please remove the lock from the device. We then heard back from you on 08/17/2018 in regards to you removing the iCloud lock. Your device was then rechecked on 08/23/2018. It was found that you removed the iCloud lock so your device passed inspection on 08/23/2018 and your payment was then processed and sent out to you on the same day. Since you chose PayPal as your payment option, your funds were available to you for immediate usage. Thanks again and we look forward to hearing back from you in the near future.

I sent two 100.00 gift cards to them and had received a quote that felt like an okay amount. The cards were received, but I cannot get them to send payment. They said payment might be delayed due to Covid-19, but I've been waiting three times that. I think I'm screwed.

Within a 3 minute time frame I was notified that my device passed inspection and payment would be processed, 3 minutes later I was notified that my device failed inspection and was offered a $1. I declined the $1, now the device is being shipped back to me.

What a waste of my time and packaging materials and USPS services.

Within a reasonable amount of time, I heard from them, they checked it over, met their criteria. Not long after that, I received a check. It was a good experience.

They have hours posted for your chat, but it's never available. They also have hours posted to call, except that all calls go directly to a full voicemail and get disconnected. I've been trying to reach them for two days and cannot. Terrible customer service.

Like all the other reviews have stated this company never responds to any communication, even when they have your electronics. Interesting that all the reviews are 1 star or 5 star. And all the 5 star reviews have tons of exclamation points, Obviously very fake.

I declined their low-balled offer and requested the return of my trade-in unit. The company delayed the return and it ended up taking a month to return my unit. The irresponsible carrier they used lost my returning unit and BuyBackWorld did nothing about it. Basically they did not propose any plan to compensate my lost but keep saying they were "sorry" about the event. Excuse me, for a customer, they would like to have a genuine apologize with a compensate plan. Very disappointed about how they treat the return items like they don't care about it.

Same complaints as other users here. Chat not available, call and VM full and not answering emails. Sent in 6 iPhones 5 weeks ago and they still have not processed. Order number is PS*******011. I used them in the past and had a great experience. Quick and easy! Not sure what the issue is this time.

One person checked half of my items the first day and said they were fine and paid me what I was quoted. Another checked the other half of them the next day and said they all had fluid leaking all over them and paid me less or have them sent back. I felt I had to take what they offered and not have them sent back due to fear they would break them on purpose. When I securely packaged them they were all in perfect condition. Will not do business with them again.

One could not ask for an easier way to sell electronics.
