I chose www.camerasandparts.com for my powershot repair to be done. They did a hell of a nice job. Their communication is not the greatest and not the worst but everything else is better than I would have expected. I'm not sure why but my camera seems to work better than before it broke, mostly the lens is just smoother now. I actually think it had a lens problem from day one but I never took it back. I would choose this place again.

I just had my G9 break on me. It had no power for the first time ever. It was well cared for so it was upsetting to just have it fail. I used this place Cameras and Parts for the repair. Things went excellent, got it back, cleaned, repaired and serviced for $89. My wife and I are very happy with the process. Turnaround was fast too!

They did a very good job repairing my camera. They were fast and the best price I was able to find. The camera has been working like new after they fixed it for a no power problem. My camera is the Canon G9 model

The part that ordered arrived. So I go to install it and I have no idea what I am doing. It's not as easy as it seems and they do not provide any step by step instructions. I took it to a shop locally and they charged mr to install the lens. It's working so I'm satisfied. I just would prefer they include the steps on how to take it apart and install the part. The local shop told me that when they order parts from their various vendors, they don't get instructions either. I had just assumed it would have had that. It's working fine though so everything is good. Thanks

After dropping my G15 it displayed a lens error message. I was recommended to Cameras And Parts through a local store. The repair was done very quick (3 days), shipping back was just as quick. I purchased a circuit board for my camera through their website. The shipping took a little longer than I had hoped for but since I am not in the US, I know Thr shipping delay might not have been their fault. When I received the part it was very easy for me to install. My camera turned on once again and been for nicely ever since. The only concern was the shipping time which was more than two weeks. They did send it priority us mail service but it wasn't fast or priority as I would have expected and liked. I would buy from them again though. I would also recommend them, especially to customer in the united states.

It works perfect and is better than new. There cost to repair the camera was less than I found any place else and I would highly recommend them to anyone that has a problem with their camera.

I can't think of a word better than perfect to describe my experience. I dropped my camera and not only got a lens error but I also bent the part on the front that was pushing into the lens. This was part of the whole front of the camera. They straightened that so perfectly and repaired the lens. It's working so great now and the lens is smoother than I ever remember it being. Use this place if you need a repair. They're quality of workmanship is just above and beyond!

I have a canon power shot As720 IS and for many years. I have a brand new camera as tho I just bought it. Had a very minor problem when it was returned and they jumped on it immediately over the phone and now---no problem.

I can only speak great about them. My father used them back in '09 to do a repair and his experience with them was perfect. Iused them and just received my repaired camera back earlier in the week, it's perfect and cleaned thoroughly which is nice. I ordered the dc dc power board from this site to repair my Canon G9. The part arrived fast and it was well packaged. It was not too difficult to install and it hot my camera up and working again. I'd recommend them.

The service here was terrific; They helped us out big time and as a result, we had the camera repaired before our upcoming baby shower. They are nice and do repairs very well. We were very impressed with the service they gave us.

I had such a nice dealing with these folks! My G9 quit working because of a no power problem. They explained everything to me in detail and I learned this was caused by a screw getting loose within the camera that shorted the device out. They locktite and taped the screws so it won't happen again and they serviced the camera very thoroughly. The turnaround time was very fast too. I am satisfied to the fullest, this is a great place to have a repair done.

I used this placed to have a canon sd850 fixed which had a lens problem. They did great work with no sign that the camera had been taken apart and worked on. I liked that about it. Cleaning was also very good and the price was great. I recommend them to those that need a camera repaired well.

The part I ordered got here fast. I wish it was a little bit cheaper though. It did install easily though and my camera is working perfectly again. That's pretty cool. They don't give instructions though to install the part but with a little thought, I was able to get it installed and working. They were pretty good overall I only wished cameras parts were a little cheaper since I'm a student.

My broken camera was repaired by CamerasandParts. They did an excellent job with my camera. Gone out of there way to clean inside and outside of my camera. Now my camera work like the day I just got it out of the box.

I ordered a new battery door for my camera. The price was quite good and they shipped it fast but they don't send any installation instructions.

I thought it would be easy to install but it wasn't. I thought it would just clip on or something but no luck with that.

I wound up emailing them for help on how to install it and they called me back pretty quick. There was a trick to putting it on the camera, it actually twisted right on. Once the woman I spoke to walked me through installing it, it did go right on easy enough.

They were polite and helpful but just including some written instructions would have made it easier to install the part myself.

All in all, it was a positive experience and they were very nice to deal with.

We chose this place to get are camera repaired. It's the Cannon SD1100 Powershot. The only thing I didn't like is they are not pro-active when it comes to emailing. In other words, if you don't email them then the only thing you get is automated emails which take you to a repair status page for your camera, which I might add was not completely accurate on the eta. That was my only gripe.

With regards to the work they did on our camera, that was as good as anyone could expect. They do perfect on the repairs and the camera is cleaned throughout which we liked. They take a few weeks which was fine, we called around first and found most other places admittedly take longer.

I would recommend them to anyone who needs to have a camera repaired. The really clean the camera well and their quality of work is really above great for my standards. Communication could be better but it was acceptable. I'd use them in the future again and recommend them to others as well.

My part arrived fast even though I am ordering from outside of America. I have to pat duties in my country when I received it. They send it fast and the part was good to install. The part has fix my camera.

Cameras and Parts did a good repair and service but forgot to send back the lens cap I had on my camera. After I let them know they located it and sent it back fast and did apologize. That was my only gripe, aside from that they did an awesome repair. Also they cleaned the camera up extrememly well. The lens cap thing was the only thing that kept it from being a perfect experience. I would use them again without hesitation.
