Great little secret for camping and outdoor gear - i'm not a camping and outdoors person but i still love campmor. They have everything you need for roughing it or for staying warm by the campfire. I got a bunch of stuff before a trip to whistler and everything came on time and fit perfectly. Though snowboarding camp wasn't fun, wearing my new duds was way fun, thanks to campmor!
This company has extremely rude customer service staff spoke to a man named Lenny and asked him why I had not received my one item that I ordered and paid three times the amount of shipping ticket receive it in two days and had not yet received it and it's been three days he stated rudely that they were small company and that they need a full 24 hours to put the order together. Explain how dissatisfied I was with the shipping he offered no apologies had no customer service skills and was simply nasty and has no business dealing with people. This company needs to put in bold letters we need 24 hours to process your order so it's actually three day shipping instead of two. Never order from here! Extremely dissatisfied

Ordered something from clearance that the website said was "in stock".
However, three days later when we hadn't heard anything about shipping I called to find out what was going on. They were unapologetic and said it was out of stock would not "special order" one for me. I think they could have done better than this. Very disappointed with this experience.
Called in to place an order for a pair of sneakers found on the web. Sales representative was keen to take the telephone order with ears just for your credit card. Order was sent within a week packed professionally until you open the outer box. The inside box came apart as soon as I took the sheakers to try. I was surprised to find that the sneakers had a strong stench of smelly feet like a shop worn item. I was more shocked to see that the shoe tongue had been pulled out intentionally while the shoe laces were shoved all the way inside the shoe. After calling in to customer service, she played hard of hearing and said that I had issue with the outside box rather than the merchandise and was quick to assure me that she will send out a return label.
Purchased Yakima Landing pad 15s set of four. The box arrived open, there were only pads for one side and one was broken. The parts were scratched and had been used before. This was clearly a return that was not checked when it was received. I had to buy from another company so I could get my rack setup in time for my trip. I tired using the 'live chat' feature but no one was available and it was during business hours. I emailed customer service and received no response.

Excellent resource for all things camping! - My son is a cub scout and is crossing over to Boy Scouts this year. We are avid campers and this is an excellent find for a comprehensive and affordable option to the large chain stores or Scout shop.
I don’t know how this site caught my eye. I just remember ordering 2 outdoor coats for campfire and getting them in very delicate condition at competitive price. Both experiences are pleasure.
Have bought many tents, backpacks and equipment from Campmor over the years. They consistently have great products at great prices with excellent service to back them up.
I ordered a pair of binoculars on Sunday and it arrived in a perfect condition on Tuesday (free standard shipping). Their price is higly competitive. Would buy from them again.
First ordered from Campmor in 1978 and the order was sent to the wrong state. Now I tried to order 2 pros of shoes on July 4th. After I put the order through, I saw that Campmor had sent me another email, which had a jacket that I also wanted to put on the same order. Called Campmor, sent an email and then called again, to no avail. Received an email that Campmor would NOT add to the order and to contact customer service. Called customer service again 3 times and left messages, the last one to CANCEL THE ENTIRE ORDER!
Now that I have taken the time to read other reviews, it appears that this was a blessing in disguise!

I love Campmor... 40 years ago I started... This is absolutely amazing. The UI and overall user experience is top class.
I have no idea what the store is like but I can tell you that I had a very negative experience with their mail order department. I ordered shoes that were not only clearly NOT the size I ordered but not as advertised. They were expensive shoes but showed up looking like sweat shop knock offs.
I IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED THEM and was assued they stood behind their products, yet they did not process my credit.
I returned the items the SAME DAY. Contacted them when I confirmed the arrival of the package via USPS and was again told they would credit me. Again, no credit
After more than a week I called again, and spoke to an incredibly rude woman who called me a liar and said they never received them. I called her up with the USPS tracking number, she said she would process the credit, and yet again, IT WAS NOT DONE.
A few days later, I had to fax the same USPS receipt. She told me (reluctantly I might add) that she would now process the credit.
My credit card company still says they never received the credit, and I have had to tell them that if it doesn't get processed soon I will seek legal action.
You would think a large company like this would stand by the promises on their web site and also understand the concept of customer service. I will NEVER order a single item from them ever again.
We are a family owned outdoor retailer that has been around since '78. That means we've outfitted 3 generations of explorers and adventurers. Why stop now?
