I just came across an ad for CanSpace on Facebook and decided to give them a try. I've been procrastinating with building my business website for months now so I decided the long weekend was a good time to start. The price was excellent compared to other options I was looking at, and their web based site builder is extremely intuitive - I literally had my business site up and running in about an hour, which makes me feel silly for putting it off so long.
Not user friendly. Non intuitive. No tutorials. Irritating. You will be having to be on chat 24/7 until your setup is done. It's really great when somebody tells you to go to WordPress through a web address and you get there and have to try the login 15 different ways and then you go back and have another chat and tell them it's not working and they are like oh here is another way and you are like excuse me but why did you make me go through that. Also there is a review on this site that is identical to a review posted on another site which seems completely fake I am not sure all these glowing reviews are entirely authentic. Seems a little too positive especially given the fact that that I am sitting here really irritated at what I have been experiencing. This is my second site with them and I thought it would be easier because the first was painful but it is such a bad illogical clumsy set up that no it is just as frustrating the second time around.

We have had dedicated servers with about 10 different providers across Canada. We've been so happy with the support and pricing at CanSpace that we just finished consolidating ALL of our servers to CanSpace. Believe me I can say with first hand experience that the service CanSpace provides is literally better than any host in Canada - I've tried them all.
I have been stockpiling.ca domains with CanSpace over the years since they have the best prices on them. Most of the domains were just ideas for projects that I had, so I reserved the names in case I ever decided to make something of them. I finally decided to bite the bullet and actually build a website for one of these ideas and decided to go with CanSpace for the hosting as well. I emailed about 7 providers in Canada asking a bunch of (admittedly basic) questions, and CanSpace replied first, with the most thorough answers, so I chose them. So far the experience has been great and their support team is as responsive as their sales team.
Another happy customer here. I moved about 5 of my own personal Wordpress sites over to these guys and it's been smooth sailing so far. I was with GoDaddy for over 4 years, and as much as I was not satisfied with them, I stayed there thinking that migrating over would be a difficult process, but CanSpace literally did the entire migration for me without me having to do anything. If you are thinking about switching - do it!

It's only been a short while, but so far so good. I had no problems getting everything set up, and their control panel comes with a ton of free features (1-click installation being the particularly useful one). Prices are great and support has been fast and very friendly. I'm happy with my choice and definitely recommend these guys for hosting.
Great option for web hosting in Canada. My needs were basic and I'm only paying a few bucks a month, but they treated me very professionally and walked me very patiently through the entire process of getting my site up and running. They even reached out a few days later to ask how everything was going! My site is running smoothly now and I'm looking forward to building it up more. Great experience here.
I run a medium-sized web development agency specializing in WordPress. We host our clients' websites on a variety of hosting providers around Canada and we have found that CanSpace consistently has both the best support, as well as the fastest servers by a fairly wide margin. Going forward we'll be consolidating all of our sites with CanSpace. I'm posting this review to save others the headache of having to choose a host by trial and error - CanSpace really is the best choice.
Finally I've found a suitable option for hosting my web sites here in Canada and also for registering. Ca domains. It took me weeks of research to choose canspace.ca - I compared over 10 hosts, their pricing, features, tools, resources, feedbacks, reviews etc. I even called each of them myself to test the response times. I've been very happy with canspace so far and would like to thank their team... I really can't say enough wonderful things about their technical support (they helped me setup my website, installed Wordpress for me as well as my theme, everything I needed - spent over 2 hours to get everything done). They truly care about your well being and are such polite people. Overall excellent experience and I can see myself staying with them for a long time.
We've had a very positive experience with CanSpace over the last 2 weeks. Their support response times have been amazing - even during this pandemic chaos - and they really take their time to explain everything to your satisfaction. Prices are great and in Canadian dollars which is even more beneficial these days!
We recently migrated about 20 of our reseller sub-accounts to CanSpace and everything has been very smooth so far. Performance is dramatically faster than our previous host, and most importantly the support at CanSpace is a million times better than what we have ever experienced in the past from any other hosting provider. I have the same experience as all the other reviews you read about CanSpace. Great support, great speeds, and very reasonable prices. My site is just a very small Wordpress photography blog. To be honest I only get a few dozen visits per week - it's more of a hobby than anything else - but the guys at CanSpace treat me like I'm their most important customer. All of my questions are always answered quickly and thoroughly, and their staff are also very friendly.
Over the years I've referred at least 10 of my friends/family to CanSpace and they never disappoint. I recently helped move my employer's website over to their services - and this was by far the biggest client I have ever referred to them, and my reputation was on the line here. My company relies on it's web hosting plan for it's email services as well, so reliable email is also key. This was all communicated to CanSpace in advance and of course they said they would handle it without any hiccups. It's been about a week now since the migration and everything went off without a hitch - over 50 email accounts migrated, in addition to our website itself, and everything is working perfectly. I've been wanting to bring my business back within Canadian borders for a variety of reasons. Was hosting on AWS for a while but was overkill for my needs and wanted to remove any administration overhead. After a fair amount of research I settled on CanSpace and the experience has been very positive so far. I started by picking my "top 5" Canadian hosts and calling them all. Any host that didn't answer or didn't give me solid answers was eliminated. CanSpace handled my migration for me as promised, and they had everything up and running on their end within 2 hours of me signing up. Support has been solid, speed has been great, and I'm happy to be paying in Canadian dollars again. It's only been about 3 weeks so far, but based on everything I have seen I'm giving them a solid two thumbs up.

We have about 15 staff using their email accounts regularly, so it was extremely important to us to make sure everything was migrated correctly and that there was no downtime. I have all my. Ca domains with CanSpace for many years now and decided to finally move my hosting over to them after consistently receiving great support. My previous hosting company would NEVER answer the phone and I would have to wait at least 2 hours for a reply to any ticket. CanSpace has been the opposite - ticket responses are super prompt, and every time I've requested a call they were happy to reach out. I signed up for a month at first to test but just decided to commit and sign for 3 years for the discount. Very happy so far!
My company does IT consulting for a Canadian crown corp and our primary responsibility was speeding up their website and doing stress testing under high loads. CanSpace is our go-to host in situations like these. Once their site was migrated over it was already performing significantly faster than their previous host, and CanSpace helped to facilitate the stress tests and even helped us to identify weak points in their application. The guys at CanSpace are absolute professionals. When I complained about the multitude of issues I was having with my previous provider they told me not to worry, they would all be resolved during the transfer. So I signed up, and they had everything transferred over and running on their servers within the hour. They cleaned up some injected code as a courtesy, and gave me some great tips on how to prevent any issues in the future. What really struck me is how they took their time to explain everything to me in detail, and not just try and get the call or ticket closed asap. Total professionals.

I'm just getting started with all of this website building stuff so my basis for this review is fairly basic, but after signing up with canspace I've managed to get a fairly professional looking (if I may say so myself) website up and running in just a few days. The canspace support guys helped me install Wordpress, and even helped me install and customize my theme - I would have been totally lost initially without their help, but their support really helped to speed things up. So far my experience has been great!
At the moment I'm only using CanSpace for my email hosting while I build my website, but they've been extremely helpful so far and they definitely deserve a good review. I was having issues with my previous provider and emails constantly ending up in spam folders. CanSpace helped me migrate all my emails to their servers - a process which they handled completely for me - and everything has been working perfectly ever since. They helped me configure my Outlook client and all my mobile devices. No more emails ending up in spam, and I can go back to focusing on my business.
I've lost count of how many servers we have with CanSpace now - well over a dozen. We've actually been able to scale down our own administrator team because the CanSpace guys do such a great job of maintaining and updating our servers. Even in the middle of the night there is always someone around, and always someone who is extremely knowledgeable. The CanSpace guys have saved us on more than one occasion and are always there when we need them, and are extremely deserving of this good review. We would not get our servers anywhere else.
Two months in with CanSpace and have nothing but great things to say. Tech support is great, prices are great, and server speeds are excellent. Had no problems at all getting everything setup and moved over from my previous host. I was beginning to think that my site was just supposed to load slowly (this is what my previous provider was trying to tell me), but it's clear I just made a poor choice with my previous hosting provider. Everything is now loading super fast!
We were very unsatisfied with our previous reseller hosting provider but we had over 30 accounts and the idea of moving them all seemed overwhelming. We finally decided to reach out to CanSpace and they literally had all 30+ of our accounts migrated on to their services the very same day we signed up with them. They handled the entire process and were extremely communicative and professional. We're paying about half of what we were before, and all of our sites are loading dramatically faster. In addition CanSpace handles all backups for us (even for our sub-accounts), so this is another expense off our hands. Overall we are extremely satisfied and highly recommend CanSpace as a reseller hosting provider.
