Appreciative they extended credit, but call the number to talk to someone and you have to go through hell going from one extension and say or enter and voice recognition NEVER works and after putting in information it directs you to another extension and same thing over and over, down right madness. Set up account online, then signing in did not recognize information I entired, then locked me out, pure hell on earth, calling the customer service number went through that nightmare to get a rude agent which did not resolve the problem or situation, went in and uninstalled app, will send a check in, inconvenient but easier than dealing with the madness and frustration of a system set up by a bunch of idiots

I wanted to pay off the outstanding balance so my husband could use the account for an upcoming large dental bill. I tried unsuccessfully numerous times to telephone to verify the pay-off amount; so I just paid the balance shown of their website which included interest (that I don't owe).
Instead of applying the payment, they emailed that they were updating the monthly amount I paid the day before! I responded to the email (because they can't be reached by phone) -- it was returned as "undeliverable because their mailbox is full" and 3 pages of gobbldy gook. YIKES

Tip for consumers:
A good idea and convenience but non-existing customer service. VERY annoying!!

This company is a total scam and I would avoid it at best, after my promotional % charges were completed they ballooned my Interest charges to a one-time of $759, after I get my Home Loan I am gonna pay off this card and close this acct forever, this card should be called "WeDontCare". The one star is too generous for this review. Buyer's beware and to show proof I attached a screenshot of those interest charges.

Products used:
I used this card acct exclusively for my Pet's care and while the promotional period was great, afterwards it was over they charged me this ballooned interest amount that I provided in my review.

Nice guys... they prey on people at there most vulnerable times! Shame on you! My dog had an unexpected 4000$ vet bill and I needed some help. They told me it would be 18mths no interest but when I got my bill it was only for 6 mths. SCAMMERS! READ YOUR FINE PRINT!

My dog had an unexpected emergency procedure
I did not have enough money so I applied for credit while at the vet. I was approved 1000 dollars well I maxed the card right then. I paid the balance off 1 week. The charge cleared the bank.
So my dog died yesterday and I wanted to use care credit to pay it 450ish. The vet said it declined
I immediately call care credit as my dog was dying on my lap. I told the agent that took my call that I should have 1000 because I paid it off and it cleared from my bank so care credit had there money. I was told it takes 10 days to process I told them about the bank clearing and accepting my transaction. The agent said the bank may reject the transaction. I said that is odd. They said no. So when I got home from putting my dog down I closed the care credit

Absolutely horrendous service. I had spoken to three representatives in order to ensure that I was going to make monthly payments on my balance. Instead CareCredit decided to pull out the remaining balance all at once. IT WAS UNSOLICITED AND WITHOUT NOTICE. After this enormous mistake, clear deception, and unacceptable decision, the customer service was insulting. The passive aggressive insinuation of being an uninformed customer as well as a liar was something I have never experienced in my lifetime. I canceled the card immediately after paying the money considering they were filibustering the entire conversation and finding endless excuses. After this the tone of the agent decreased afraid of the money they would lose. It is unbelievable how the actions toward a customer is so noticeably money motivated. The words used in this review seem exaggerated and extra, but in fact it's sad how true this review is. I warn people of the fluff reviews on this website as well as others.

I went to the dentist like most of the reviews and was told I had a 12 month promotion for interest free payments to make paying off the balance easier. I am usually great with credit cards and have every thing set on auto pay making sure Im never late. Apparently they changed the promotion to 6 months and I have been paying interest for the last few months. I have paid $300 in interest and get this I still owe $783 out of my original $879 balance. So I have paid $300 in interest and $100 towards my principle. This practice should be illegal. I will make sure that I call my dentist office and tell them to discontinue using this company. THEY ARE THE WORST. THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU. STAY AWAY.

My credit has been up and down most of my adult life due to marriages and divorces and self employed work, my current numbers were approx. 760 at Experian and only 698 at Equifax and Transunion. I was looking for a way to remedy the low numbers to be consistent with Experian. All three agencies were still posting old credit issues that began during the recession and along with my credit card debts. I went on credit repair forums and read about Rod, a professional at what he does. He is the one to turn to in situations like mine. I wrote him via CREDITSMARTSPY@ GMAIL DOT COM *******941

I'm so upset with you people one day late they take late fee out of your account. My money order was late two times by one day because of holiday mail service. One day late. They couldn't wait to get the late fees. Say they couldn't take off second late fees because I had one taken off months ago for late hoilday no mail delivery service. It late because if mail service 4 of July no mail delivery. It's not about the money it's about the the greed of this company. Can't wait to payoff.

Paid my balance in full and then I get a credit alert from my credit monitoring saying I had a closed account recently. So I check my credit report and guess what they closed my account without my consent and it drops my credit score by over 30 points by closing the account. I have excellent credit and have never paid them late. I call to find out why they did this and they can't give me a straight answer and says it has to do with my credit and I will receive a letter as to why they closed it. I have over a 775 credit score or had that score before they closed my account and they claim it was closed because of things on my credit... I have no balances on any of my credit cards with other banks, but all they could keep telling me is it's my credit is why they closed it. DO NOT EVER GET THIS CARD!

My firts month pening this card i I made $350.00 worth of payments, instead of crediting me they added the $350.00 to may balance and fought me on all of it. I even had documentation. I am still fighting for $150.00 of it.
The customer service is horrible. You call and they are rude and impatient! I delt with a customer service rep RJ. I can 't wait to pay this card off andf cut it up. I would never ever referr them.

I'm always on time for my payments, never missed one within the year of having my account. In March about the time when Covid hit I was furloughed from my job and was two days late on my payment and they dropped my credit limit hundreds of dollars! When I called and explained the situation, I was told that there was nothing they can do! A whole year of on time payments I never received one increase on my account... yet, one day late they dropped my credit limit SIGNIFICANTLY. Shame on Care Credit for not taking care of their customers during a pandemic! I will be paying off my credit card, chopping up my card and throwing it in the trash where this company belongs!

I paid my monthly bill, and my bank account stated that I paid twice which I did'nt do. So the next day I called them and they said before they could see that I paid twice, I had to wait until it posted, but I could'nt compened this, if you could see the first payment why not the second. My bank gave me the number to the other payment, and they also said that they could pull it up by this number. They told me oh we see it now, but you have to wait 7 to 15 business days or sooner to recieve a check in the mail, this is a risk with the way the postal service is today, so I ask why can't you put it back on my debt card the same way I paid you, the customer service rep, said I do not know why we do it this way it is the policy.

You call Customer Service and they are not trying to help you - they are not trying to help you - they are trying to make. You wait so long that you give up and hang up. I was on the phone for 2 hours and spoke with 3 different agents. I had to repeat the story 3 times and they came up with every excuse to not help me. They told me I had to write them with proof of overpayment even though they claim that they could see the account info. When I asked to speak to a Manager, I waited for an hour and never spoke to a Manager - instead, the 2nd agent came on and said that Manager was very busy and yes, she could see the overpayment and would issue a check. I have had credit cards for over 40 years and never got this much of a runaround. Don't use this credit card! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Care credit Sucks I have been a customer for many years, When I first got it I had bad credit score I was approved for $500. Last year I lost my job and I was behind on payments, Since last year I have been doing great been making on time payments and my credit score has been perfect I have been paying everything off. I was so excited I wanted this account for my pets, I got my new statement with a decrease in credit limit I was like what? They said they do a credit check once a year. How does that make sense I now have excellent credit been paying the balance off and they decrease my limit? I am so pissed care credit sucks I have never in my life have had a credit card decrease my limit. THEY SUCK!

Care not credit is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. DO NOT USE CARE CREDIT AKA CARE NOT CREDIT! My new vet will not use they're services because it is a loss for the customer. Horrible customer service and rude as well. You should be ashamed treating customers like this. I called twice and the first call I waited 29 minutes and was hung up on. The second call was 56 minutes. This is a poorly ran!

I was stuck in a financial situation and i needed to refinance and pay my bills for my son's medication and buy a home. I tried seeking for a loans from various loan firms both private and corporate but never with success, and most banks declined my credit. But as God would have it, i was introduced to VICTORIA LAWSON Trust Loan Firm (*******@outlook.com) with 2% interest by a friend, and i got a loan amount within few days because i was not always online to responds to her mails. I love care credit I don't have pet insurance but with care credit I don't worry they take care credit at most all Veterinarians Hospitals. Good to

Bad customer service.

Very predatory on ppl who are mostly on there last leg.

Would never recommend unless someone was about to die without medical help.

I have heard stories about their deception. Healthcare providers should be extremely cautious dealing with them. Read any application, document that comes from them, especially the fine print.

Their "Promotional Purchase" option wound up costing me an additional 35%. Reading the fine print will do you no good. Just do yourself a favor and stay away from Synchrony.

Don't use care credit. These guys are bandits. If you don't make $$ and miss a payment by a day your screwed, you'll never pay the card off i can't see how what they do is legal DONT OPEN AN ACCOUNT do yourself favor stay away
