They charge you so many different interests rates it's annoying. They are the worse I've ever had I will never never work with them again. Ever worse experience ever. I can say that I hate care credit so mad.

I am on social security because of all the cancer I've had. Got a card to get the care. Every month, I made my payments and the balance was coming down. It's a few days after the promotion ended, they added $700 interest. No one could help me, or were willing to help me. I told them I was going to die in the next few years, so credit doesn't really matter anymore. I said if they take that off, I will continue making payments. Otherwise, I won't make any payments. I called 3 times, and all of them said, if I can pay the balance off in a few days, they would take the charge off. Of course I can't. Each of them said there is NOTHING that can be done/worked out. They feel they are being fair. I feel they are whores for money, who take advantage of the poor. All the payments I have made didn't take the balance down at all.

I had to contact this company today. I had a card with them for my medical expenses. I paid the balance off in full. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow only to find out today they closed my account last week. After speaking to a representative, I was told I am a high risk customer. After being laid off from work due to covid, I took a month to get my payments back on track. This company doesn't even take this into consideration. It's really a plus for me because I will not have to pay them any money back, Terrible business practices.

I agreed to a 12-month interest free loan with a medical provider. Instead, what I got was a 15. Something percent interest loan with eye-gauging "consumer protection" fees I never agreed to. This company is worse than a pay-day lender. DO NOT FALL in the trap!

I always paid my bills on time and then maintained a zero account balance for several years because none of the providers available to me were ones I used. Then without warning they closed the account. They claimed they sent a letter to me, but I never received it. They refuse to re-open the account, and now the closed account has damaged my credit score! They told me to apply for the credit card again, but that will only worsen the situation because there will be another credit inquiry on my credit report. Stay away from these people!

Again I am still trying to have carecredit correct my credit score. They gave me a loan for $3000. 00 than told the credit companies that I borrowed $500.00 over my limit. Than why did they give me the $3000. 00 in the first place. Now my credit score has dropped from 723 to 649 they said they would corrected it. But months later its still not corrected.

Credit card term says interest free for one year but at the end of the year charged 400 interest for 400 balance i have proof also the balance includes 400 interest as well no other company do that customers service is rude & pathetic

My last bill was only 199$ but they charged me 398$ without my permission then i called customer care and they were very rude they said they gonna send me check in a moth and the way they talk to me over the phone it looks like they doing a favor to me by giving my money back plz do not take this card and save u r self from fraud and still i m waiting for my money

Care Credit sent me statements in Spanish - I need them in English. They won't help me over the phone, and can't create an online account unless I select e-statements, which I do not want. I want them to correct their error, without me having to jump through hoops.

Total lack of clarity regarding zero interest term. 26.9% interest rate (and I have outstanding credit). Nonexistent customer service (always 15 minute+ phone wait.) I opened an account to pay a vet bill in the amount of $1621. Made payment in full. A week later payment had not been debited from my bank. Contacted them via text and was told payment had a hold because account was new. Cancelled account. And they reversed my payment. So now I have no way to reach customer service (because my account is closed) and no way to pay off the account. Definitely contact BBB.

STAY AWAY.

If a company ever deserves 0 stars it's this one. My auto pay was always set to pay before the due date, but they kept charging me late fees. Called in several times to correct my "late fee", even had a Ref # and no one would help me. The Reps are trained to only repeat the options they have already given you that don't work. I moved up the date of my payments so they wouldn't be late, payment was still processed late. I tried to show them proof of payment and they said I had to fax it. Who has a working fax machine in their home? The say they will remove your late fee for you, but you have to pay the late fee, then they reduce your balance. So they still make you pay the late fee. The Rep said if I paid $80 today, he would remove my $40 late fee. Shady, unprofessional business practices. This experience could not have been any worse. Please, save yourself the trouble and don't use them.

After 9 years, they allowed my soon to be ex husband to call and cancel my card. They said his info was on the account but I disagree with that. I applied and was approved in my name and income. Stay away. Unethical business practices!

This is a absolutely horrible company/card. Customer service is horrible, they are dishonest, unethical and they will screw you over even if you follow their contract rules. They have more lawyer's than employees. Don't trust this company, they should be shut down!

We were told we had 15 months at 0% to pay a $1439 service so we set up automatic payments and paid it off in 14 months (a month early for safety). We then found out it had to be paid in 12 months and we now owed $365 in retroactive interest. I called sustomer service and although they clearly saw that there was a misunderstanding and we had paid every month on time, and in good faith, they were unable to do ANYTHING to help. I would have been okay with spitting the difference. Wish I had read their terrible reviews before trusting them! Never again

5 Crowns in Mexico, 1K on carecredit, no promotional purchase for you as it's a foreign transaction. Big FU to carecredit. Wife had a hip replacement, my end was $7K, no promotional deal for you. 29.99% interest. F'ing pirates, I'm paying it off and closing the account. I get a better deal through paypal credit.

Apparently you have to pay the balance off before 6 months or they charge you 100 dollars. I called in to ask and request they close my account before the 6 months and then i will be paying the balance without the interest. Apparently they still charged me. So they disregard the fact that I was given incorrect information by their rep. Sad that you have people who work there and not have knowledge on how to be honest and speak the truth.

I was promised by a customer service provider that they will honor my promotion for longer because I was doing a balance transfer. They received the check from my credit card company, took the money and still charged me almost $2000 in interest fees. I called trying to resolve the issue but they were supper rude and said that there's nothing they can do even though I was clearly told that they will remove the fees manually! I will never use rhis company again!

I had a dental procedure done that I charged a portion to my care credit card. I saved up the money to pay them off and sent them a check for the whole balance. They cashed the check then claimed they never received it. Now im missing over $600 from my account that seems to just disappeared.

I have been a care credit customer for a few years. I basically used them for some large dental bills that I did pay off within the 12 month period. I just received a letter stating they will be closing my account at the end of the month. I called and asked why and they said due to inactivity. I said I would like to keep it open as I will be incurring about $15,000 in dental bills in the next 60 days and wanted to use care credit. After being transferred to a supervisor (not in the United States I might add) they told me they cannot keep the card active. I guess based on my past history of paying my balance off in the 12 months I am not the customer they are looking for. Beware of this credit card company. They are only looking to give credit to someone they can totally rip off.

Had perfect near perfect credit with a score of 730 upon applying for Care Credit for dental work. Two payments were made on time, and one credited one day after the due to my due date falling on a Sunday. My payment went from $145 to $259 because of one day being late with them receiving the payment. Would never recommend them to anyone... EVER!

This is a scam operation. It's a super predatory and CRASHES your credit score the moment you apply. For $5k credit line (that we're not even going to use now) our credit score dropped from 800 to 714. Read all the other reviews... there all speak the true (except the 5-star ones that are obviously constructed by the company).

This is such a sketchy, sneaky company. They say no interest if the payment is completed before promotional period- never make it clear that the ridiculous amount of interest will be charged when the promotional period is ending, they never expressly tell you. They want to keep everything hidden so you get screwed. And the customer service is cold, heartless, and rude. Sketchy sketchy company

I just want to warm people before doing this, its like robing your money.

Multiple calls to lower interest rate failed. I make large payments every month and only 1/4 goes to principle. When I asked to have rate lowered, THE BANK said they could not. Bull$#*!! Yes they can! They are the bank! I closed my account and will transfer balance to a lower rate card. Care Credit will NOT get another penny of my money!

I only have this card for vet visits. The last 2 times my card was declined! Why? Not sure! First time it happened, I called the number on the card, prompt the automated system, which tells me my credit limit, available credit and available cash and what's due...$12 was due a few days from the day I used the card. Ok! Good to go! Run it again. DECLINED. I had to call back PAY the $12 to bring my balance to 0 to use the card. Today it happened again! This time over total amount due in 2 weeks $7! THAT'S ALL THAT WAS ON THE CARD! $7! Ok, here's my $7. Can I charge my dogs bill now? Sorry Ma'am, your card will not be able to be used till 48 hours! Are YOU kidding me? 0 balance, $2,700 credit limit and I can't use $200 of it to pay my dog's vet bill? No Ma'am, not today! 1 DONE! I will NEVER use this company again, and I'll be sure to tell everyone I know about the card. WORST COMPANY EVER!

You may never be able to redeem your points. Site malfunctions often and then they cancel your points
I've had my card for 20 years. I finally went and cashed in my points for a $200 Home Depot Card.but it never arrived. I checked the site and my points were still there.so I decided to let them ride a little longer and next time call and cash out over the phone. I checked recently and I no longer had over 20,000 points.I only had 7,642. I called them and they tried to tell me I had only had my card for 5 years.what a joke. I asked that they reinstate my points and let me cash them out as a long time customer service.but of course.they refused. Shameful that they cancel your points without telling you or reminding you to cash out before they do it. I recommend that you get another card that has a 6 month pay off and never cancels points. Takes at least 3 tries to login and most of the time I had to pay as a "guest". Terrible company.
