We all know companies have their employees give 5 stars TO HELP HORRID RATINGS so dont be fooled! This company is the biggest scam and the worst customer service Ive ever experienced! I would use ANY other method to pay than this company! I paid off my bill in full before same as cash and THEY REFUSE TO SEND ME A PAY OFF LETTER! REALLY! TRUE STORY!

This is the worst bank I have ever done business with. They must sit around their conference table and figure out ways to screw their customers. Need to be shut down!

Care Credit used to be a great card to have in one's wallet; however they have now changed their online access requirements. One has to upload a picture as well as a copy of one's ID. In addition, all the requirements such SS, etc are still required. Can we all say BIG BROTHER - time to get rid of this card

Simply put, they are worse than the criminals in the streets. I was under a promotional agreement that expired during the COVID-19 pandemic (which affected me and my family). I was sick and not paying physically able to focus on anything other than my medical condition. My payments were being sent automatically from my bank so I took comfort that I didn't have to look at anything. When I realized that the promotional period expired I immediately paid my balance of $1989 of the $3,600 borrowed. I asked for an extension/waiver/adjustment to extend the period an additional 8 weeks. I was flatly denied and hit with $1,816.00 in finance charges. THIS AMOUNT WAS BASED ON A BALANCE OF $4,178.27. The CREDIT EXTENDED WAS ONLY $3,600.00. Criminals.

When I successfully applied for Care Credit 2 years ago, it was a smooth process. However, due to the pandemic I did not use their services at the time, and the card has meanwhile expired.
I reapplied this morning, confident that the process would be just as easy. WRONG!
AFTER submitting all requested info, I learned that without a cell phone, it's an uphill battle: the last part of the application cannot be completed per computer or laptop, but per tablet or cell phone.
If you are a senior without either one, the process becomes more complicated. None of the alternative options offered are without difficulties for home-bound elders who deal with serious health issues: 1. They will email you the last part of the application which, after completion, cannot be email; it needs to be returned via FAX. If you don't have a FAX machine, it was suggested, you can have your healthcare provider fax it for you. 2. they can also mail it to you...
At that point I had enough! I bid the lady a fair day and goodbye. While courtesy was no problem, their elder-discriminating rules (many of us are not tech savvy or physically able to leave the house) it is a shock to be confronted with these limitations, which are more hurdles barring seniors and poor, and some disabled to fit into society's mainstream.
My biggest mistake was to trust my previous experience and not to have reviewed Care Credit's present record.

I'VE SPOKEN TO REPS AND THEY NEVER EXPLAINED IF YOU HAVE TWO DIFFERENT PROMOTIONS YOUR PAYMENTS YOU MAKE ARE SPLIT WITH THE LESSER PAYMENT AMOUNT GOING TO THE PROMOTIONAL THAT ENDS SOONEST SO THEY CAN CHARGE YOU $400 IN INTEREST! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO ME. THEY DON'T DISCLOSE INFORMATION - ONLY PROVIDE INFO TO CONFUSE AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE

My pmt was due 2/28 for $40, I paid $200 on 2/5 and they charged me a $27 late fee even though they posted the payment. Total crooks and a scam, run from this place.

This is supposed to be for low income cost pet care and families. What a joke especially after the agent in the phone laughed on the phone at us. we had an EMERGENCY pet bill for my Service Animal, the cost was $350 and we were declined. Their reason, was because e have a couple credit cards open, even tho they were current on payments. We had no other open or hope to pay this bill, since toy can't leave the office without payment for services rendered. I suggest You STAY AWAY FROM this CORRUPT CARE CREDIT. They are frauds!

I see so many bad reviews about Care Credit but they are all attached with some excuse of why people were unable to keep their agreements. If you make payments on time you will have the confirmation info. I was so nervous to open an account with them after reading all of these reviews about how terrible they were and how dishonest they were and its just not true. I ultimately had no choice but to open the account anyways when my dog became sick. I realized that reputable doctors and veterinarians recommended their service and so I had to try it for myself. You CANNOT make minimum payments and then be surprised when you don't pay off your agreement within the time frame. I had 6 different agreements with them each to be paid off within 6 months and took out my calculator and found what I needed to be paying per month. It was really simple. It was the only way I could afford care for my dog and I've paid off 4 out of 6 purchases with literally no problem. They don't hide the information from you to try and take your money. It says on each bill what the consequence is for not paying off your agreements by a specific date. If you know how to manage your money you will be fine. I would recommend their service to my family and friends. I'm glad I didn't trust the reviews.

Paid for over a year auto payments to check my statement and find out I still owe more than what my original balance was because Fee after Fee after Fee has been added. DO NOT USE CARE CREDIT. Several other options that do not charge the insane fees

I was told to go to metzer animal in state college pa, they said would look at cat, but needed to have cc to let animal, they talked me to apply for carecredit whey clerk could see limit. I had with me tests, xrays from other vet(less 24hr). They looked at cat, never did procedure, but redid all other tests. Wanted 3000$more for another, gave cat shot after told he had bad reactions from before, vitamins and other items 750$. The cat reacted and died from shot, called mfg. And was told shot never to sick cat. CareCredit not back me up, even with proof. CareCredit helps crooked vets/doc scam you where regular card would give protection. I canceled filled with attorney general office, we need class action against CareCredit, I also cancel Sam's card they are also by Synchrony bank
Tip for consumers:
stay away from care credit and Metzer's animal, CareCredit will not help you

I got my car there because it was a hard model to find. I expected a few things I would have to fix. The owner Carlos added a $2,000 warranty to my loan and never told me then when I tried to use it he said there is no warranty. He since told me to get a lawyer and he beats cases all the time and is good a scamming people. He text me he is fine with going to hell and he will be laughing there as well. My goal is to help others to avoid this situation and expose this place in any way i can. I am filing a lawsuit and reporting them to a few places though I may only break even but hopefully I can help someone from the lies and trap. I got scammed for a total of $3,000 plus interest. The cars look nice there but a lot of evil runs this place. Many reviews are similiar to my experience as Im now seeing and Im not sure how they are still in business. I also received threathening texts from Carlos wanting to fight and gay slurs.

I have an excellent credit score and great history of paying my bills and have NOT been turned down for any credit but now that my son needs surgery, they REFUSE to give me anything as far as a limit. They are not out for anything except lining their pocket.

The company it self is ok. Every singe damn time I need to log into my account I either get locked out or I have to reset my freaking password. Your log in system is a joke. I even wrote down my log in name and password last time so I wouldn't have to go through that again, did that work HECK NO. Somehow you STILL have to reset the password and it takes over 30 minutes sometimes just to log in and pay my bill!

I signed up for an interest free account to have one eye corrected. My Agreement stated that after 18 months, I would incur interest charges for any remaining balance... August 18th Care Credit's Synchrony Bank charged me $981 in INTEREST on my outstanding balance of $1078. Bringing my balance with Sychrony to almost the same amount that my original eye surgery charges were 18 months ago. This bank is a bunch of CROOKS. If you take out Credit, don't do it with this Bank.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use them for promotional credit accounts.

I was super excited about this credit card bc I have teeth problems and no insurance. I've applied many times and was denied. When I finally got approved, I was overjoyed.
Did my teeth problems, think I'm on a plan of automatic payment.
NO EVERY MONTH HAVE HAD THESE, I'VE BEEN DELINQUENT IN PAYMENT BC ALLEGEDLY THERE'S INSUFFICIENT FUNDS, BUT I GET A REMINDER 4 DAYS BEFORE, SO I MAKE SURE MONEY IS THERE. THE ENTIRE TIME I'VE HAD THIS CREDIT CARD, IT'S THE SAME GOD DAMN THING. IM DELINQUENT, EVERY MONTH. IT'S TAKEN MY CREDIT SCORE, WHICH I'M WORKING ON, 10 POINTS EVERY $#*!ING MONTH THEY DO THIS $#*!. IF I HAD THE 1400 TO PAY TO GET YOU OFF MY CREDIT, I WOULD! YOUR COMPANY SUCKS BALLS.

When I wanted to make an extra $250 payment to a balance that was being charged 26.99% interest, I phoned in to make sure it was applied correctly. Then I got the statement. They charged my card $250 instead of deducting a payment. Still trying to get it fixed. Synchrony Bank will find a way to trip you up. FIND ANOTHER WAY TO PAY MEDICAL PAYMENTS.

I carried 2 balances and when I tried to pay off my balance that was CURRENTLY due they kept applying it to the other balance which wasn't due for another year. I have had other credit cards that DO NOT practice this. They allow you to pay off the current balance before applying any to the later balances. Very unethical; they clearly want you to get more in debt by charging the $750 in interest fees.

When signing up with my dentist, Total Dental in Oakland, for a course of treatment for which they charged $5,150. I was offered a discount of 5% if I paid up front, or an "interest free" loan of $5,150. -interest free as long as paid within 12 months, through "Care Credit." Sounded pretty good to me. I Filled out application with assistance of staff of Total Dental. A credit check was thumbs up. But no- there was a scam involved, of which Total Dental was aware- while there was no "interest" per se, Synchrony tacked on a "card security fee" of over 20% per annum, for the first month. This was, as finally explained by my contact at Total Dental, "credit insurance" which was charged on the declining balance of the loan. I Said I never agreed to any such "credit insurance" and was never told of it. This is FRAUD and there must be some kick back going on. Why else would the retailer offer this "interest free loan.: Synchrony and its greedy schemers being "CareCredit" are committing wire fraud and theft in my opinion. I will be contacting the Consumer Affairs Bureau and the DA of Orlando about the matter.
Tip for consumers:
That the offer of "no interest" on a 5150 credit to pay for medical services was a scam- as the Bank and its CareCredit Company had an undisclosed plan to charge a "card security fee" amounting to 20% per annum on balance. In other words after being sucked in the the "Interest Free" Option, your stung with the undisclosed, never agreed to fee in about same amount as "interest"

There phone system is horrible takes hour to get through to a person and when you do they don't even help you. They also don't let you know that when you make a payment over $500 that they hold it for 10 days. So here I sit made large payment a week ago money was out of my checking 6 days ago well cleared my bank and surgury in 2 days for serious infection and I have no way of paying for it because they still want to hold my payment for 4 to 5 more days and when I asked for a refund of payment so maybe I can just pay out of my own checking they said that would take 3 weeks. This is so frustrating when something called CARE credit will not help you I have never missed a payment and have only used the care credit in times of need for medical purpases due to not the best health insurance coverage and this is how I am treated by CARE! Credit. They do not CARE!
