I tried filling 2 different benefits but on each case they made it so difficult by asking paperwork that is hard or impossible to get, I believe and know the benefit program is a fraud, every requirement is almost impossible to get

Tip for consumers:
You can always get a different company outside their suggestions, DO NOT GET Card Security is a FRAUD!!!!

This bank well known as crook. My account has closed after 18 months payment requested. Care credit still acted like my account still exist and continue charge 500$ interest each 15 days and don't even put me in collection because I owe them nothing. They bring me back more than 3000$ balance interest even I didn't used at all and account has-been closed more than 6 months but they leave active just like I still used it. Please be aware. Even you owe them nothing with balance zero but they will leave it open and charge interest but show your account is closed. If I still owe them money why didn't they put me in collection if I don't pay them, they only put me on credit score present my credit card still active and keep increase my spending just like I still using them. Bunch of crook.

Products used:
Had using nothing , no purchase , no activities. Balance has pay off but care credit still add every 15 days 500$ interest , and then 400$ and then 500$ so now from balance 0$ go to 3000$ I only find out on credit karma that I used my card and keep increase my credit limit even I'm no longer with Care credit .

I've had this card since 2015, pay on time, and make extra payments toward principal. The one time I forget to make a payment, they put a hold on the card and refuse to release the hold.l--This is for a $30 payment that was 8 days late. I was at checkout trying to buy $32 of health items and neither the csr rep or their supervisor cared, so I told them to schedule a payoff and close the card next week. They don't care, so I refuse to give them any more business.

My bank sent a check to pay off my account. It was cashed on January 27. Every month I have to dispute my balance because they "can't find my payment". I'm out over $3600 plus whatever interest they keep tacking on. I'm trying to buy a house and this is messing up my credit.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid like the plague! They will literally steal your money.

People don't speak English. Purchases need to be paid by their "promotional period. If not, the interest accrued is approx $300.00 more. If purchase is under $200.00
$26.69 interest is accrued. So if purchase from 2016 of $58.00 is now $150.00! When call to explain why, you get different answers. Stay away from this credit card if you can.

Received notice in the mail that Synchrony closed BOTH of my Care Credit accounts AFTER they were both paid in full. Had NEVER missed a payment on either account. This action dropped my credit score by 20 points. This is wrong on so many levels. I would have gladly closed them myself if I had been notified ahead of time of their decision to close them. And they were being used for our senior dog who is 12.5 years old with congestive heart failure. Synchrony Bank really CARES? That's a joke.

Review your statement with a fine tooth comb. Beware of your promotional pricing and interest... stay alert. This is a low-down, money-grabbing, lying, unethical bank. And I know I'm not the first to speak this. And the customer service is terrible. Mobsters will treat you better. I will never use this card again. A bunch of thieves and ruthless crooks, Synchrony bank, and I'm being nice. For your own well-being and peace of mind, Stay Away!

They will split up your monthly payment in away that sends some of your payment to different promotional ending dates. If you don't stay on top of it every month you will not make first promotional dead line and be charged full interest 26.99% even after sending more then enough money to close that billing promotion because of the way they move payment money around without your knowledge. Every time you send more than the minimum you need to call and tell them put towards first promotion, every time! I received a monthly billing stating New purchase $250.00 when I asked what the the new purchase was I was told it was not really a purchase but a adjustment because of the way they move money around. Very confusing I will no longer do business with Care Credit! Buyer Beware

I applied for credit on my mom's behalf; I am her power of attorney and this was for an upcoming medical bill. I applied two weeks ago and sent the necessary documentation; instead of reviewing and following up with me, I had to call back to check on the application, only to be given the runaround by a couple of different associates. One was helpful, the others (and the manager) were not helpful at all. We both have good credit and have never gone through this much drama to apply for credit. The application process was a nightmare. We will find other ways to pay the bill... if they make it this hard to apply, what will it be like to have them handle an account for us? Simply pathetic!

If unable to pay off during the promotional period, they add the accrued interest. That is understandable I guess. You know when you sign up. BUT what you don't realize is that with an interest rate of 26.99% on a $822.00 balance the interest is $18.00 a month. Sure it's my stupidity for getting the card but it is still ridiculous!

These people disgust me. They changed our credit card and then without warning made it difficult to follow the "promotional period" of previous charges. Ended up charging $1,000 in interest when the promotional period was "1 year no interest". They got us. They got us good.

The interest and fees are so high that they make it impossible to pay down your debt. Ever! Our dog had to have surgery and we were approved for $3500 that was almost 2 years ago and we have made the mistake of making only the minimum payment every month. My bank records show I have made approximately $2600 in payments to care credit and I still have a balance of $3000! 2 years of payments and only 500 of my balance is gone. This company should be sued! I hope care credit goes bankrupt someday and all the people who run it rot in hell for taking advantage of people who are in dyer needs. $#*! you care credit and synchrony bank!

Can I give a -5 star rating?
Opened an account to take care of emergency expenses. Made one purchase that was paid off in a timely manner. Then haven't used the acct for 6 months. Now that I need it come to find out that they closed my acct without notice 3 days ago. Their excuse: "random" credit review triggered the acct closure. That same score was good enough to open the acct...
Long story short, responsible credit use gets you dropped by synchrony bank, who backs carecredit.
Will never do business with synchrony bank or carecredit again.

I have been a CareCredit cardholder for over 5 years now. I had used it one time for a total of $3000. I paid the entire balance off in 6 months. Making more than minimum payments each month. I had a credit limit of $10k. I keep the card for emergencies so it has remained a zero dollar balance. Little did I know, NOR do they tell you that at any point they can close it due to inactivity. Appreciate the companies want to make money so charge me an annual fee. Nope. No warning. No calls. No emails. Nothing. I found out when I was switching phones and went to sign back in to my app. This company has so many complaints about it...if you have an emergency use it. Keep a balance. Never pay it off and dont have any credit changes or they will close it for that I read. I would highly recommend going somewhere else. Dont listen to me though, do your homework before applying.

These people are a bunch of crooks! Don't use this company they are a bunch of blood suckers. The interest is sky high and when you call them all you get is an Indian who can't help you at all. When you ask for someone who speaks English they leave you on hold. They have no empathy and zero interest in helping you in any way. You'd be safer robbing a bank then dealing with these criminals.

I started out with a $4000 limit. I made every payment on time sometimes doubling my payment. They reduced my limit to $1500 without warning when I called to ask about it they hung up on me. The following month I completely paid it off This past weekend the closed my account with warning. I was a perfect customer and my credit score was impacted greatly because of this company. Stay away from doing business with them

Care Credit afforded me the opportunity to finance some major dental work that I otherwise could not afford upfront. To make a long story short, Care Credit loaned me $6,000 to be paid back in 24 equal installments (interest free). It was tough but I paid them back on time every month (to avoid late fees). I owe a debt of gratitude to Care Credit.

Word of caution though: If you know that you cannot pay your monthly bill in full and do not plan to pay the bill off in full by the deadline, be prepared to pay all the backdated interest.

Do not use this under any circumstances. Got it because my vet was partners with then and my cat needed surgery, all was good until actually paying them back, they have bumped almost every payment i have made, did not tell me they bumped them, charged a fee without telling me, canceled my account without telling me, charging me more interest rates because of nonpayment because they bump every payment thus knocking my credit score down 44 points. On top of that you'll receive calls, texts, emails that are very unprofessional from them telling you to pay your account months after they bumped all your payments. Their explanation "your bank canceled the payments", bank says they were there and just dropped off for no reason, I trust my bank I've been with them for 10+ years and never had issues with cards or loans. Do not use this company.

The dentist offices that accept Care Credit have told me they must raise their fees to the patients as certain costs get passed along to them. In turn, they pass it to us... I don't quite understand it but I've been told that by 3 dentists now... then when the "interest free" time period runs out and you haven't paid the balance off, the interest charges become phenomenal. It's actually more cost effective to just put dental charges on my revolving credit card! This card is only beneficial if you can find a dentist that won't pass the extra charges they say they incurr off to you and if you really can pay off within the 6 month period.

Unbelievably unethical. Apparently they have gotten into trouble, because they are now sending out settlement letters, which I got, for not reimbursing interest. I paid my balance on time, and in full, and they thanked me by cancelling my credit and account shortly after. Stating because I had bad credit. No other credit company, even the worst, does that. You pay back a loan or credit, you are golden to them Carecredit has to be forced to honor their agreements. 0 Stars

What a joke. An 820 credit score- but their identity software had an issue with my covid hair. So sorry I even bothered. Just wanted to space payments on a big vet bill for my poor little dog. I could have paid cash- and will. Don't take the hit to your score! Avoid care credit!

We opened an account when my wife needed to have some dental work done, and the dental office said to use CareCredit. I really wish I'd just borrowed the money from family. It's been nothing but a headache dealing with them. The only way you can make a payment is with a checking account, and any attempt to use an alternate method (debit, HSA) is a migraine-inducing hassle. Customer service is complete sh*t and not helpful at all, the people you talk to when you call couldn't care less about anything, and the standard reply is, "Sorry, that's not company policy." Run away from this card!

Regret ever signing up for this rip off. They know people who use this piece of crap card are in need and have no choice so they take advantage of you. I passed my promotion and now they charge me $28 in interest fee charges after every payment even though i pay way above my minimum payments. This isnt how credit cards are suppose to work. This company should be closed down. Also worst customer service. Now i will be in a worst situation trying to pay this card off rather than if i just paid my original bill out of pocket. Thanks for nothing "care" credit.
