Came across carhistory.us.org while researching a used car. They provided valuable information which will be used in making my decision on purchasing this vehicle. Easy to use and for the price I will definitely use again. Than you.
Don't go to them for car history, they charged me $1 for the report and without any notice two weeks later I was told that I subscribed to their site and charged me $30 out of nowhere. I never clicked to any subscription and I never received any email about subscription either. Their customer service is the worst, I tried contacting them several times via email. Live chat and calling. In email and chat they tell you to call them but they NEVER once picked up the phone. Absolutely disgusted with this sneaky scamming and would NEVER recommend you to go there. Their car history report is not complete either. I would recommend trying car vin sheet, they are thousand times better.
Recently I have applied to this company because I needed a new car. My old one has broken down and mechanics told me that it would be better to acquire a new one and my old one has to be sold. It was very tough for me to say goodbye to my wheels, but I understood that it's life and there is always something that we don't really like. I thought that it would be better to take out a loan and buy a new car. Guys from this company helped me in everything and I successfully bought a new car. It was so unusual to me to drive a new car but I'm really thankful to them.
I think the report was generated really fast and detailed. What I didn't like is some important information like the owner's name, registration and title was missing for some reason. Otherwise, it was a good experience to have a report like that in seconds. Thanks.

This website is great for a basic vehicle history report. I understand that the information provided is to give an overall report on the vehicle. It could not give information such as: where the vehicle is registered, what the mileage is, title information (other than it being a clean title). Of course you can't expect this website to give you all the information you are requesting for $1.00, but it's great for the basics.
I was happy to receive my results for a vehicle I was thinking of purchasing. It was very quick & easy! The results were more detailed than what I got from the dealership! Very happy & will defiantly use this site again during my vehicle search!
Easy to use, results were fast and easy to read and understand. Had there been a problem, I was given a phone number for text number for help. I also received a text message making sure I had the information that I needed. Great service after the sale! If you call $1.00 a real purchase!
I was satisfied with search, however I had a second car that I wanted to search, I was unable search for that vehicle because it stated " email already exists ". Question do I use a second email address?. Maybe your company should setup something like a login if you have created an account.

It was very simple and easy, but the part that says to agree or decline to the $180 part, you click on Decline so you don't sign up, It was slightly confusing, but past that it was very clear and well detailed. Worth the Two dollars I spent to get the extra information.

This website is quick and easy to use and gave me a full history report on a car I was about to buy on ebay. I say about to buy because the report showed it had a Salvage title and was involved in a wreck. So not only did this report prevent me from buying a "Salvaged" car on ebay, it only cost me $1.

Just like all the rest of the complaints, I too was charged $ 18.95 when I was told up front that the charge was $ 1.00. When I went to check out, the charges shown were $ 2.47. I should not have gone through with the transaction but being the trust worthy person that I am, I went through with it anyway. I am reporting this BOGUS co. To the Better Business Bureau, the Consumer Fraud Commission, the Federal Trade Commission. People and companies like this have to be put out of business and should be made to give back all the monies people like me have been " STOLEN " from!
I am also contacting my bank and requesting my money be refunded an for them to do an investigation.

Provides a great amount of information for the cost, althought it is a little hard to navigate the system and get through the check out process. Overall great value for someone thats thinking about buying a car. Wish it had a smart phone app

I can't even call it a company. When i called and complained about them ripping me off they told me they hated black people and jewish people. I was like wtf. What does race have to do with this. Never got a refund and it has been a month now. I have never been treated worse by anyone. There are 1000 of people that have been scammed. Don't believe the good reviews. They are lying through there teeth.

I ran the report to check on general info in terms of features and to assure my vehicle was reported accurately ahead of selling it. The process was quick and painless and didn't make me feel as though I was overcommiting to something I really only casually needed.
I have run three different history reports on the same vehicle, Carhistory.us.org, Carfax, instaVin... I find that all are close with info but instavin was not enough information to make a impact on a decision with my opinion on the vehicle that I wanted to buy. Carfax and Carhistory.us.org came back with almost the exact information on the vehicle that I was looking for when trying to make a choice in buying the right car for myself. The only difference is I over paid on the other websites when I could have just paid a dollar from the get go through Carhistory.us.org, Thank you Carhistory.us.org

I got my car information quickly, but I wasn't aware that the $1.00 meant I was signing up for $18.95/month for a year. When I emailed them, Andy was so pleasant, apologized for the inconvenience and promptly cancelled the account. Very pleased with report and with the excellent service
I wanted to know if my vehicle was covered by Takata airbag settlement. Mfgr has not responded. I bought used from different mfgr dealership and they also were of no help. Got reassurance I was looking for immediately from CarHistory. Thx a lot.
Googled RV values and this site popped up. I entered the requisite info and when asked for, my credit card info to charge for a review of the RV I was checking. It was advertised for $1 to get the info. I should have seen that as a red flag, but proceeded. Then I received a red banner advising my cc was not valid and suggested to re-enter the info…I did twice more when I got the same advice. I gave up. Within an hour my credit card was billed for $18.95 THREE TIMES! Obviously they scammed me for my card info and tried to charge it. A SCAM if ever there was one and thieve scoundrels need to be banned from advertising and prosecuted for fraud…IMHO.
The truck I am buying has a rebuilt title to it. I will be taking it to a service station in order to give it a thorough once over and see if it is even worth purchasing. I will be using this site once again when it comes to purchasing my next vehicle for sure.
