Came across carhistory.us.org while researching a used car. They provided valuable information which will be used in making my decision on purchasing this vehicle. Easy to use and for the price I will definitely use again. Than you.
Don't go to them for car history, they charged me $1 for the report and without any notice two weeks later I was told that I subscribed to their site and charged me $30 out of nowhere. I never clicked to any subscription and I never received any email about subscription either. Their customer service is the worst, I tried contacting them several times via email. Live chat and calling. In email and chat they tell you to call them but they NEVER once picked up the phone. Absolutely disgusted with this sneaky scamming and would NEVER recommend you to go there. Their car history report is not complete either. I would recommend trying car vin sheet, they are thousand times better.
I came upon this site when I was searching for information about a car that we own. I couldn't locate the information on any of the print outs that we had. I thought that I would give it a try. The layout of the site was intuitive and covered the kind of information that I would want to have if I were buying a used car. It was thorough on so many aspects and, because we owned the car, I knew that it was accurate. I will definitely use this site again and enthusiastically recommend it to anyone who is considering purchasing a used car. It can save you a great deal of heartache that you could encounter later on or give you peace of mind that you will make a good deal.!
Very reasonable price, $1.00, to get basic information about a used car. I didn't notice if I inadvertently signed up for $18.95/month Volume Discount Package, which I do not want.
I like many of you fell for this, thinking I could get a report for FREE, then magically it turned into $1 (Just a little 'ol Database Fee). Then Next thing you know, I got the Shody Report, for one it did not show me as even an owner and I had the car fro over a year! And also did not show a recall, that has been on for over a year, So I called for a refund, it said no problem, to get one right?, then I found out they said you agreed to the $18.95 charge. I said no way! I did so. Well I even went to do this again to see where this $18.95 was and still cannot find it, not in terms of service and conditions or nothing, says will give you the OPTION, well they must have bypassed the (Will Give You) part. Personally imho, it's a site used to MINE your Credit card numbers and sell them to Thief's. So cancel your car immediately afterwards. To BE SAFE!

I added a photo about the $1 charge no where does it say $18.95 up front, but you have to put in your card number and all that pertinent info, but no where, and even if you read the terms and conditions it does not say it.. it's a Credit card mining Operation to sell them to thief's

30 days later got another 18.95 charge from CARDATAUSA.COM which i had no dealings with. Quicker to call bank which closed card and sent me new one then to call company. All good now

Filled out form to pay the $1. Got information report. Seemed complete but can not verify unless i use other sites to verify. Checked bank. No dollar taken out, but $18.95 was.?. Having bank deny payment.
Excellent review except for the mileage --it was quite a bit off, but that is to be expected if this person did not go to dealer for service and was one owner.
I was car hunting, and this is the perfect website to receive a bunch of information on multiples cars. I told my parents and friends and they love it too. For a $1.00, you can't complain.
You agree to pay $18.95 / month for 12 mos. $227.40. Of course this is shown at the bottom as the last item. I doubt you cancel very easily. Best advice - DO NOT DO THIS!

This website will give you a useless report with no information as well as sign you up for a subscription service without asking. Your $1 charge will suddenly be $19 every month. Stay away!

I was impressed with all the categories the report covered. I am surprised a 12 year old car with over 175,000 miles didn't generate any notes on its history

Provided the details as expected. There were no accidents or anything to report for the vehicle I searched, however the interface of the site worked well. Overall it did what I needed.
WE ARE FINDING WATER IN THE SPARE TIRE COMPARTMENT IN THE TRUNK AND FOUND THAT THE BUMPER WAS IMPROPERLY WELDED ON.
THIS SITE DIDN'T PROVE ANY OF THIS. IT SAID THAT THE CAR WAS IN AN ACCIDENT IN ORLANDO, FL. LEFT REAR IMPACT NO DAMAGE REPORTED.
