“BIGGEST SCAMMERS EVER!”

Don't go to them for car history, they charged me $1 for the report and without any notice two weeks later I was told that I subscribed to their site and charged me $30 out of nowhere. I never clicked to any subscription and I never received any email about subscription either. Their customer service is the worst, I tried contacting them several times via email. Live chat and calling. In email and chat they tell you to call them but they NEVER once picked up the phone. Absolutely disgusted with this sneaky scamming and would NEVER recommend you to go there. Their car history report is not complete either. I would recommend trying car vin sheet, they are thousand times better.

Wanted to buy a great looking MR2 Spyder... becoming more popular... the price was decent... of course the add stated Clear title... it was not... it was salvaged... it may have been for unknown reasons but one rule. Stay away from salvage titles unless you know what you are doing... so this $6.95 saved me time money travel and peace of mind. Thanks. RJ

I kind of flew threw the process, and if it weren't for fat fingering the card info, i would be signed up for over $240 worth of report for a year.? They are not clearly stating what you will get before submitting payment. The live chat, however averted finalizing everything. Thank you for that. I just have to watch now to make sure it actually happens. Still no report, so no review on this part.

I have been shopping for a used car but car salesman are known to stretch the truth or deny knowledge of important facts. This car history report provides all the important information about accidents or other damage and repairs made to the vehicle. This is a bargain at only $1.

Good site for looking up your vin for cheap. I'm always weary of getting scammed on the Internet for stuff that seems too good to be true, but so far site seem legitimate. Would like to see a clearer history of past owners, but most other info was there and easy to look over.

I stumbled over this site and am glad I did. The information contained in the report I received was exactly what I was looking for. Fortunately, the history on my newly acquired 2013 Hyundai Genesis was all good and positive. I highly recommend this service to anybody in the market for a used car, but use it before you buy, not after, like me. I did obtain Carfax and Autocheck reports prior to buying the car though, but previous experience has taught me those reports are not 100% reliable. I will definitely use this service again.

I have filled out countless forms seeking information of some kind only to come to the 20 minute end and find out my free search costs $50 or more. I expected to find out the same on this site and there it was... $1.00. And a good explanation of why the charge. I kept going fully expecting the other $49 was coming and I would back out. Was I surprised! Not only were there no more charges, I actually got the information I needed! Restores some hope that there are good people out there. Thanks!

L was a unsure of the offer until I used this VIN History service, the service is absolutely the most professional, prompt, affordable service I have used online, they gave me all the information I needed to make a sound purchase decision. The information was available online, via US mail and downloadable. Their service is so thoughtful they even supply links to other services you may need to complete you purchase, I needed a vehicle inspection and they had thought of that with a link to a reputable, affordable service. This is the most thoughtful, comprehensive, professional company I have used in many years. I very highly recommend them, I would like to give them 10 stars! Thank you! James, Raleigh NC

The vehicle information provided was accurate, but it did not include the information that I was seeking (the buyer info). Also, it was advertised as only costing $1.00 for the report I got, however when I looked at my bank statement the following day, they had in fact, charged me $18.75.

After reading good and bad reviews I continued carefully. I even read the fine print of the agreements and watched carefully as I checked all kinds of boxes. I found in the end that I did sign up for the 1 year service. I checked my account and found I had 24 credits. I immediately did an on line chat and they cancelled my account. Now I need to get with my credit card company and block all charges from this site. Stay away!

This site will only give you some basic info. Like where you have bought the vehicle etc. not any specific or detailed information like the one found carfax. But if you want to spend your $1 go ahead (but there are lot's of ways to spend $1... right?). The guys over there are also not very helpful. They will tell you lies. I recommend you to not to use this site.

I fell for their $1 report and subsequently was charged $19. When I called them they said I signed up for the monthly fee. They cancelled my service but I am still out the $19 since they didn't reverse the charge. Beware of this if you deal with them. Their report was not at all as comprehensive as Carfax report.

I need to know who owns it now. I salvaged to a local junk yard.Lo and behold I cancelled the insurance and state of Florida took my drivers license. I don't know who the junk was because they sent a tow truck. I gave the title they gave me the money. I expected to see more but if things don't get reported than how are carhistory know?

Good site and easy to use. I do believe that if you are looking for report on 1 auto, the $20. Fee is a bit steep, however you can look up report for up to 24 autos for the same fee within 1 month. So, for someone looking at multiple vehicles for let's say to purchase at an auction, this is a good deal.

I'm trying to buy a car and this really helped me put my dad at ease. Also this was much more aforadble compared to kelley blue book or carfax. I will definitely let my friends know a boutique this sight when they want to buy a car. And who can beat $1 like seriously.

I was very happy with the services I got from this company when I was searching for a used car. These reports gave me a lot of information on the vehicles I was looking at and this helped me select a vehicle that had a good history. The vehicle I was initially interested in turned out to have needed some major repairs and my history on such vehicles often lead to them needing more major repairs after I obtained them. I feel they provide a great service at a very reasonable rate and recommend they be utilized for this service.

This is not true that they would overcharge your credit card. True is that during payment there is a typical ruse to enter "premium" service that is charged additional (monthly?) fee. So far I was charged $1 as promised.

I didn't like how it kept trying to get me to purchase more than first quoted. All the basic information seems accurate when report but not entirely sure how detailed the rest of the report is. Hoping it is good.

I this was quick and cheap. My insurance company pulled up and accident, which is not showing on this or any other site... created some peace of mind for me, for just a buck! I woud use this again if I bought a new car!

Just on a whim, I checked what I could find out about a 19 year old Suv I own. Surprise, in 10 minutes or so I had a full report. ( I did not know how far back the records went).
Great detail---the only glitch found was the report stated my model was a SLE when it is actually a SLT. This would effect only the page listing installed equipment at the factory. The SLT has more goodies. This was not carhistory's fault----only an error in 19 year old records.
Good job--will use their service again.

I purchased a report for $1.00. They charged me the $1.00 plus an additional $24.95. I called them and they said they would send me an email to confirm credit of $24.95. It's the next day and I have not received anything from them. Don't use this website!
