This company placed me with a ripoff care hire company, del Paso, who actually refused me with car hire as they took a personal dislike to me for challenging their ripoff tactics
Carjet are completely uncontactable. They do not answer any support phone lines and do not respond to any emails and will not return the 542 euros paid in good faith for car hire. I don't know how that they seem to think they should keep the money for themselves. I have attempted a chargeback but they hide behind paperwork stating that I did not meet their contract requirements. Complete rubbish, hire was declined by the car hire company on the grounds of being mardy and upset for being challenged about trying to charge me another 300 euros for insurances I didn't need.
If anyone has had any joy in getting a refund please advise?
We arrived in Greece end of July, and our flight had a delay because of a thunderstorm. We arrived there only to find out that our car was cancelled. The local car vendor told as to call CarJet and ask them for help. We called CarJet, and they told us that our money is with the local vendor, and they can't do anything about it. Spoke to the local vendor again - these guys claimed they received nothing. CarJet customer support basically told us that they can't offer any other car (even though ours must have been right there in the parking lot), and that they have no money to refund us. Absolutely horrible experience from a predatoy company that couldn't care less about its customers. Never again.
We arranged car hire from Crete Airport in June 2022. When we arrived the offices were closed and none of the phone numbers provided were answered. We have provided Carjet with all the information they have requested, including screen-shots of all the unanswered phone calls. Despite requesting the return of our deposit Carjet are now ignoring all emails. It is now the end of September and still they have not returned our money. DO NOT USE CARJET - whilst the booking appears easy, and the charges reasonable - the company is a scam and you are better off paying a bit more and receiving a good service. Carjet does not provide any service - they just take your money.
Keep Away from these Pirates.
1) VERY Rude when you call them
2) NOT flexible at all, with badly written instructions on their so called "Contracts"
3) Staff practically laughed me off when a refund was requested.
If I had the time and the energy, I would open up a litigation with a European Customer Service Authorityy. But to me it is just not worth the time wasted with this scam-like business. SHAME on them!

This situation raises serious concerns that both CarJet and their partner agencies may profit from such scenarios, leveraging customers' urgent needs to increase their revenues through inflated last-minute rates.
My advice: Stay cautious and avoid falling for CarJet's seemingly low rental prices. The advertised savings may end up costing you more in frustration, wasted time, and higher rental charges. If you value transparency and reliability, consider alternative platforms that prioritize customer satisfaction over deceptive business practices.
I tried to book a car got a reference number but no confirmation. Rang them the next day and they said they'd resend me the confirmation, never did. At the car pick up they had no reservation from me s rang catjet again and they said I never had a booking, even though they charged me, she was very rude and said they'd refund me. Its been over a month of me going back and forth with them on emails and call and still no refund! Every time they replied to me they gave me a different excuse as to why they haven't refunded me. First they told me they had refunded it, which they hadn't, then they told me they had to check with the car company to check weather I picked the car up, even though they told me they didn't confirm my booking, the car place had no reservation for me then told me again it had been refunded. This car company is useless and the people are so rude. Its almost 2 months later and I still don't have my refund

They took all the booking money (700€) but i didn't get any car when I arrived to the car rental office

And if you get any answer it will be rude and disrespect to the client

CarJet / ACE / Go Iceland Keflavik Rental Cars charged 23 € more from VISA than was supposed to be in July 2023. Also the car was supposed to be Nissan Qashqai with Air Conditioning or similar according to same announcement. This did not happening neither, the car was Dacia with no Air Condition. I made a reclamation and demanded returning the overcharged VISA amount and a small refund of 50 € of missing Air Conditioning. They refused of both. What can I do from my home in Finland? At least avoid these firms in future.
These guys left us without car at the Tangier's airport, at midnight and with small children. Then refused to return our money. Highly unreliable!
We were two families with children traveling to Morocco. We had a reservation of 2 mid-sized cars; we made the advance payment and we got several confirmation mails. At the airport there was only one car and it was Hundai I10 - we wouldn't be able to fit into it with the children and all the luggage.
I was writing mails to CarJet for months wanting them to return our money. The only answer was that they need more time to clarify the case. They are clarifying it for 4 months up to now. So they actually refused to return the money, without saying anything.

Was rentin a car in london for a week, called 30 min before collection just to find out that there is no car to collect! As it was from Enterprise.
Cancelled the booking, as advised by Enterprise, just to get a message from CarJet that tje cancelqtion fees is the whole amount! A week worth of rental.

My British airways American Express card wasn't accepted but there wasn't another way like other rental companies offer and they did not mention in there paperwork that especially AMEX wouldn't be accepted and I had never problems before. So I did not get the car and did not get any kind of refund. Thats disgusting.
I've rented a car from CarJet and cancelled in same day, but company is not paying my refound and I cannot reach them because they do not have any support channel... They just have a section called "support center" but I cannnot reach my canncellation information or review my refound...
I booked a car in Sweden using Carjet for the 27-Jun-2023. The car was a big car - Volvo XC-90 (Voucher number: CJT*******).
I paid in advance and got the voucher.
Unfortunately, when I reached to the Hertz counter to pick up my car,
They told me that Carjet booked for me a car in a lower class.
Carjet booked a car in the category of Volvo XC-60 while my booking and paid voucher were for Volvo XC-90.
Since Hertz didn't have any car available in the category of XC-90,
I was forced to take the XC-60.
The XC-60 was small for our family needs.
Therefore, on the beginning of July, when I returned to my country, I called Carjet by phone and sent them many e-mails in which I asked them to refund me the amount I paid them.
That is for a compensation for the trouble they made with the mistaken booking.
Till today, for almost 2 months I got no answers and no refund.
This is the worst car renting broker.
Don't buy from them!

You have got no chance of getting the vehicle that you reserve
Very unsatisfied. We booked car with carjet. Later flight was changed and we have informed them as per instruction provided on booking confirmation. Once arrived in airport, booking was canceled and there was noone to explain and clarify. We tried to call cuatomer service and no reply. Trains were not working due to strike. Agent/okmobility told that We had to pay 160 eur in addition to get a car. Agent explanation was that carjet is not good company and they have troubles with them.
Horrible service.
They take your money (the full amount for the car rental + you can pay WITHOUT creditcard) with the online reservation and when you come at the desk from the airport they refuse to give you the car in case you have no credit card.
I can follow this mindset, but in this case it would be appropriate to refund the money you paid upfront. Not everybody has a credit card.

DO NOT BOOK A CAR WITH CARJET
I made reservation and paid for it (including insurance) more than 14 days before. When I noticed, that I incorrectly filled in my personal data I rather immediately canceled reservation because in conditions was stated that in case of incident, all personal details must be 100% correct otherwise there will be no payment from insurance company. I did new reservation including payment again.
1th reservation - I never recieved money back.
2th reservation - car was prepared and relatively ok.
But total price was because of 1th reservation 2 times higher in total. I tried to speak with them, I wrote them - no reaction...

Rented a car for my trip in Turkey, they sold me insurance and when I was collecting the the third party who owned the car told me that the insurance that I bought from carjet is not valid and rhat I have to pay for insurance Again.
When I came back from my trip I noticed that I was charged twice. I tried to contact the third party car rental but they wouldn't answer my calls.
I called Carjet and told them that I was charged 2 times and emailed them my credit card statement. It's 2 moths now and I still haven't received my €1000 that I was charged extra.
I booked and automatic car for a month through this site and I was charged for an automatic car, and when I arrived at the CFU rental where I held a reservation I was told they had no automatic available for a month. I would give zero star if I could.
This is reference with my trip to Istanbul on 30.07.2023 and i have booked a car through them. It was peak season and car rental were quite high and this is where the game started.
I went to the GREEN MOTION RENT A CAR and they said my credit card doesnt work. The reason of all the lies was because they wanted to rent at high price to the walk in customers. The same credit i have used during all my 7 days on stay in Istanbul and it worked but how come it didnt work at the rental car company. Cherry on the top, carjet refused to refund me the amount as well. Avoid the CARJET.COM SCAM
