I rent a car via web site. Yesterday when I arrived, they delivered wrong car and it was not from company Eren Car Rental as their local contact. Besides, delivery was not at airport. They picked me and brought to their office about 3 km far from airport. And when I'll bring back, I have to go there again but not the airport. While I was making booking, specially I asked big car and to delivery and returning to airport. I wrote complain but they answered as "The rental is not necessarily linked to a specific vehicle (make, model, colour, equipment, etc.), but to a group of vehicles with similar technical characteristics. The vehicle shown in the Confirmation Voucher may be substituted for a similar vehicle depending on the fleet available at the local office."
My Partner and I rented a car for our Krete Holiday using Car Jet. Our flight was delayed but having frequently rented cars and picked them up with some delay without problems we were not concerned. We arrived a couple of hours late, yet still during office hours. The local car company told us, since we were more than an hour late the reservation had been cancelled without a refund and they will not be able to do anything about it. We called the Car Jet support hotline and had a horrible experience. They confirmed the reservation was cancelled without refund (for our 8! Day stay) and there is nothing they will do for us. When i asked for the manager the manager was conveniently "not in today". They basically stole the money for 8 days of rental. Its a total scam! Dont use this platform to book your rental car.

Please be careful with this car rental company. Worst customer service experience I've ever had. Not helpful and rude. Very poor English. The customer service gentleman misled me and my reservation was canceled because of him. I received neither the car nor my money back. I do not recommend!

Complete Fraud, this company would be shut down and charged with consumer fraud by usa government if it was located in USA. Improperly recorded my flight number on my rental then never showed up at 12 am leaving me stranded at airport in dark in foreign country alone. Then claimed I was a no-show because they had invented a fictional flight number and then pretended I did not show up to my rental appointment and keeping my 400usd

10/09/22 I came to Venice airport to pick my car I rent from car jet. Due searches I understood that the car jet is broker and I actually about taking my car from Italy car rent.The guy at the office informed me that my full insurance i bought is not a full. I paid for the full insurance again directly from the Italy cart rent.at the same time I sent an email to car jet asking to get a refund for the 50€ I paid them for the max insurance they provided. But they refused. What a shame

We hired a car in Portugal via CAR Jet. We could not use our creditcard for deposit because our namens were not in full on the credit Card (only initials). This is always the case in Holland! Only option was full insurance! Instead of 60 euro we had to pay 200! Is a real scam!

Think! Too good to be true. It is. Jet car is a broker. Third party. So many hidden costs. My £31 hire turned into £92. Had to pay for mileage as their limited mileage wasn't enough. I paid for waiver insurance but it wasn't accepted at the actual car hire place, So had to pay another £50 for that. (collection isn't even at the airport). I could have hired from Enterprise for £60 and got like for like. So disappointed in myself for being suckered in. The only reason for the two stars is the guy handling the handover was patient with an extremely unhappy and dissatisfied customer.

Booked a automatic car for a late arrival to Athens. After waiting and calling for an hour I had to leave in a taxi. Called company in the morning, apparently car was already gone, apparently driver was at the airport at meeting point ( which he was not, because only 5 people have been at the meeting point late at night).
Company employees have been very uncooperative to an extend where they refused to give there names or references
Do not book the Athens cars with carjet is my tip to everyone

Tried to contact them but Cork office went to message box that was full and couldn't leave a message!
Emailed aswell no reply to next day when tried to re arrange picking up the car but they said too late have to recharge again!

If there would have been an option to leave -5 stars, I would. They revert me to SMART cars rent, do not use that one as well by the way. They freeze my credit card £1680 amount, can you imagine. They gave me old damaged car and charged as they were looking for the scratches with the magnifying glass. Charged admin fee of £100 despite it should have been £75, I am claiming from my Insurance and blocked my credit card. One word SCAMERS!

If I could give 0 stars I would. AVOID them at all cost, pay a little mor for peace of mind. Our flight arrived 2 hrs late in Crete and our car was no longer available and they refused to refund us. A real joke. Then our 2nd rental with the in Athens, we were given an old car with 181,000kms, no Ac, no sun visor. They always say they're not responsible as they deal with third party rentals agencies and they say the same.

They stole my money! I arrived 1 hour late due to cancellation of the train, and when I arrived they simply told me that my rent was cancelled, I explained to them that it was not my fault, trains leave every hour and even so they canceled my reservation and they did not return my money. In the contract it does not mention anything about the cancellation for being late.

Total mess! I would never recommend this company. They are not organised. They cancelled 2 cars before i even got a car. When i went to pick up car, it was cancelled. They are refusing to give a refund. And we ended up getting a car for 230 euro above the original price. A week later, and no sign of a refund. They are a joke. The company does not have a clear cancellation policy. I had a prepaid booking. Paid and got a confirmation email in which I saw that I definitely needed a credit card to pick up a car. So I decided to cancel the booking. There is a special button on the cancellation page for this reason. However, the company refused to make a refund. I have only debit card with me right now, and there is nothing on their website that I need a credit card BEFORE making a payment. Rented in many places with just debit with no problem. My advice - stay away from this company. Their rating is 1. You can easily google the reviews. Booking CJT-*******.

This company along with the car hire company Abbycar Hire, stole €420 from my Wife had I at the start of our Holiday. Their exorbitantly excessive guarantee on car hire and them not accepting another form of payment when my Credit card was broken, meant that after 3 hours in the office we left with no car and having to go to another car hire company to get another car.

What a scam company!
Arrived from an international flight to Miami 59min after time for pickup. Contacted the pick up service and they say office closed and no car for me.
Got there next day and the office was closed. Even though it said open on the website.
After 3 days still no car and carjet refuses to refund the money. They will not take any responsibility since the flight came in 50 min later than scheduled.
Absolutely no customer service and no support.

I reserved through their site but the car is Goldcar. I acquired a full coverage insurance, just to find out it is of no value in Nice for Goldcar. I had to pay 120 for another insurance. Wrote to Car Jet immediately but no reply.

Were in paris and We book are car online, by Europcar. Talk to the agent and told us to wait for 2 hours since car jet not yet send our confirmation. Come back for two hours ending up that the car that they book to us is not unlimited millage have lots of hidden charges. After waiting for to long agent in europcar charge us more. Call the car jet noresponse no help. Only they do is collect our money Cant cancel the reservation. What a thieves. Becareful to this company. Be careful also to Europcar paris location. WARNING!
SCAMMERS! Booked car to pick up from Stansted and tried to pick up with Passport, Driving licence, NHS Covid ID with address confirmation but they would not let me take car without utility bill!
I offered top scan a utility bill from home but they would not accept and said it had to be original. Everything i tried they would not accept. On leaving without the car and spending £200 on taxi home to Brighton he said have a nice day. If my wife had not been there he would have had a smack in the mouth.
I am going to follow up by reporting to trading standards and so should the rest of you. It is the only way to get these companies shut down.
You cannot contact them either as booking with Carjet no working tel number or email.

Carjet refuses returning deposit after not getting a car from there rude and unreliable office at Heraklion Crete.
Wish I had read the bad reviews first.
Got a Carjet voucher telling us to pick up a car at Carandgo. First there was an issue with the voucher and suddenly we had to pay the rental costs (several hundreds) in cash. Next we had to pay a posit of € 900,- but suddenly my Visa card did not work in there machine. We put extra money on it, even called the Visa company. They told our card worked just fine and there was enough credit on it. The issue was there machine not working on the Visa card. Still, In the end we did not get a car and had to rent a more expensive car at another company. Later I learned from the reviews this happens lots of time with this company. Despite all these bad reviews Carjet does not believe me and refuses to refund my deposit even after explaining many times. Very bad customer service!
