I rent a car via web site. Yesterday when I arrived, they delivered wrong car and it was not from company Eren Car Rental as their local contact. Besides, delivery was not at airport. They picked me and brought to their office about 3 km far from airport. And when I'll bring back, I have to go there again but not the airport. While I was making booking, specially I asked big car and to delivery and returning to airport. I wrote complain but they answered as "The rental is not necessarily linked to a specific vehicle (make, model, colour, equipment, etc.), but to a group of vehicles with similar technical characteristics. The vehicle shown in the Confirmation Voucher may be substituted for a similar vehicle depending on the fleet available at the local office."
Just don't use this. Company. Booked for 25 days a car, payed for 25 days with my debit card. Plane arrived with 4 hours delay.
So I arrived later than the check in, Lost my credit card on the airport and they would not accept another card. I needed to use the credit card to get the car. I asked them to keep as much money they wanted as a safety deposit from my debit card for the car but they declined. I asked them if I can come tomorrow with my other credit card as my home is 500km from the car agency or come next day and the told me that if I don't provide a credit card in the next i hours I will lose my money. Lost the prepayment, no refund not even for the extra insurance i payed for a car that they dont let me use. Crazy

I must inform you that the purchase on the website is completely Russian roulette. Because I bought the rental in full and the next day they send me an email saying they did not have the car available and the money in full is already in their part and I have to wait possibly a refund until the 28th (information given by my bank, if they do not claim the amount) and today is day 20 I need to rent another car and as you know it is not cheap to rent. They didn't even give me any other option, just a link to try to rent another car without any kind of security that the same thing won't happen to me again. Very disappointed.

I book a car for 2 weeks and I pay 260.00 for insurance. At pike up time was so many more charges. I told him I need my money back and I'll go someplace else. So renter car say deal with carjet. Car jet have no customers service or phone number. Good by to my 260,00 of insurance plus my car deposit. Don't do it.

It is almost 2 month and turkish partner of carjet.com in istanbul did not refund 300 euros and they promised to refund in 25 days. I called several phone numbers and send text messages bit no response. I gave their phone number to my friend in istanbul and one guy picked up the phone and did not answer to question and hang up. Please don't leave deposit in Turkey. Even I reported to Istanbul airport authority and they did not fix problem and just answered general. Carjet.com is not authorized to do business in Istanbul airport, plus their turkish partners. Please rent car from authorized rental car companies directly at Istanbul airport. Don't listen other companies that works outside of airport. Most outsiders are cheaters and contracts are illigal. One campany signs contract and completely different company charges from your credit card. Please be aware. Thanks

They rent cars for other company and do not take any responsibility after. We called them when we had a problem and they were not even able to reach the company office - since they did not responded to them or us.

All they care about is money, I booked a car through this website after I landed I went to the car rental office and It was a small company, they only accepted credit card but they did not have the machine so I use my credit cards! They were only able to do online payment through their computer, and since the company was too small my credit card company did not recognize them and was not going through, so I could not pick up the car and the car rental office told me you can cancel it now and ask for refund from carjet, i did cancel then I emailed carjet 3 times, they said no refund because it is too late! At least they could have refunded a portion of the money because it was not my fault that I was not able to pick up the car. I wish i could gve them zero

£24.96 paid online before collection and on the rental voucher it shows €73.7paid on arrival, but in the shop i was asked to pay €98.7 because the staff from euro car said the out of working hours charge £25 was not included. However, the charge was already mentioned in the quotation

In July,2023, I made a reservation to rent a car in Bucharest. I arrived at CarJet office, and they would not give me a rental because I did not have an international drivers license. I had an United States drivers license. I had applied for an international drivers license, and I had a photo of it on my phone. Carjet clerk did not accept it and would not give me a rental car. I went to a different car rental company which gave me a rental car. However, CarJet charged my credit card $405.00. I did not signed any contract with them nor gave them the permission to use my card. They provided no service to me. CarJet is a shady company.

Carjet reserved a car for me via a third party (Easirent) at Gatwick airport. I called Easirent, but there was no car available for me!
I tired phoning CarJet, in Spain but they did not answer the phone. I sent a cancellation request via their website, but this was not respected. I am now trying to recover the hire charges.

Booked a car through carjet in Poros Kefalonia. Paid for the car and the wavier insurance not expecting to have any other expenses. Free cancellation and no credit cards displayed on site. Once the confirmation email arrived it then states €1800 will be taken on hold until car is returned. Tried to cancel but full cost get taken. Unable to talk to a person as phone not answered. Would not recommend to anyone complete rip off

They're very unprofessional. I spoke to a lady and told her that I miss my flight and I will be arriving the next day. The lady on the phone told me that they would keep my reservations for the next day when I finally got to Orlando they told me my reservations was canceled so I had to pay $700 just to get a rental car on the drop of a dime literally. This the most horrid experience ever. I made a reservation with sketchy website. Paid 60 USD dollars not knowing this website was from another country and live in the USA. Made the reservation guess what my confirmation email never arrived. I email them and late response no help at all. I asked for a refund ignored. I want to cancel my reservation. No reason was given, that when we arrived at the airport our car hire booking had been cancelled.
The payment went through and I have absolutely no driving convictions.
I not informed that they cancelled the booking and I only found out at the rental desk in the airport when I came to collect the car?
I had to rent another car, the cheapest one I could get with no notice, cost me £400 more.
I had just landed at Stanstead to see my very sick mother in an emergency, I arrived to collect the car, only to find that CarJet had cancelled my booking and the cheapest car that all the other three car rental companies at that space, that I could rent, was going to cost me at least £400 more than the car I had a rental agreement with you to hire.

Their customer service is appalling and it's not made clear that you need to have £2,000 cleared funds in your credit card account to secure the booking. I was short by about £50.00 and they wouldn't allow me to top up the difference, nor would they let me hire the car. I pleaded with them as I had my wife and three children stuck in the airport terminal building whilst I was trying to sort all this out. The girl on the desk was very rude and arrogant and would not help me. She told me to e-mail their head office in Spain, which I did and received an automatic reply, to which I can't reply to, so you just go around in circles!
In the end I had to go to another car hire desk and they were able to provide me with a car and I only needed to secure £600 on my credit card not £2,000! However, Carjet have now charged the full price of the car hire and I am struggling to get the money back.
I wish I had seen all these reviews before booking. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Rip Off Merchants.
Went to collect car from their Hire Company.
Guy asked for a further £1000.00 on credit card which had to be the drivers credit card not the hirer.
Told them "not happening" they then offerd £200.00 payment and an extra £300.00 on the price of the car hire which i also declined and said just cancel the hire.
Carjet are now saying they do not return any money after the collection time, so they want to charge over £500.00 even though i didnt even take the hire.

I made an order and canceled it. 10 times I spoke to them, 6 times I sent them all the documents that they required. And every time they said that everything was fine and did nothing. Basic consumer rights is: i pay for something, i get something. Carjet do not operate like that. ICarjet did took my money, and then refused to refund me! To me this is against all my basic consumer rights. I paid £346:10 for nothing, and i was met with hostility, apathy and a couldnt care less attitude from their shoddy service staff at Green motion. We booked a car via CarJet, and but due to a mismatch of documents, the rental failed.
CarJet does not pay back the money that was not used for the car.
According to the rental agency (Klass Wagen) they get receive the money after they submit the documents proving the rental, so CarJet has the money for the rental and insurance, and do not return it. THis must be their revenue model.

If it seems too cheap to be true...
Booked hire of a standard Renault Clio and paid EUR 553. No rental voucher appeared at end of booking process. Several days of implausible excuses by CarJet followed: 'car is in a special group' (a Clio.really?), 'checking with our local agents' etc etc. Finally with just a few days to go before departure, I asked for a full refund which was not forthcoming or even acknowledged. Had to raise a complaint with Nationwide/VISA card operator to get them to pressure CarJet into a refund, which finally arrived after we had travelled, having found alternative car hire.
In general terms 'If it seems too good/cheap to be true, then it probably is'
