I rent a car via web site. Yesterday when I arrived, they delivered wrong car and it was not from company Eren Car Rental as their local contact. Besides, delivery was not at airport. They picked me and brought to their office about 3 km far from airport. And when I'll bring back, I have to go there again but not the airport. While I was making booking, specially I asked big car and to delivery and returning to airport. I wrote complain but they answered as "The rental is not necessarily linked to a specific vehicle (make, model, colour, equipment, etc.), but to a group of vehicles with similar technical characteristics. The vehicle shown in the Confirmation Voucher may be substituted for a similar vehicle depending on the fleet available at the local office."
I'd give a No Star Rating for Carjet if I was allowed to do so...
On the surface, this company offers cheap car hire... which is great. However, beware of the hidden terms, concealed deposits and poor customer service.
I have used them twice and they have caused me problems on both of these bookings. The first time was a genuine system error, which was forgivable because I received a full refund. The second booking was a fiasco - I got what I considered to be a great deal, £141 for 8 days car hire - plus an extra £63 for Excess Insurance - however, when I arrived to collect the car at the allotted time, I was kept waiting for over 50 minutes, and then advised that I had to pay a £1,250 credit card deposit. If I had known about the deposit at the time of booking, I would have cancelled it. However, Carjet in their infinite wisdom... choose not to disclose the deposit in clear view when you make a booking. (Probably because their booking cancellations would go through the roof!) You have to search through the hidden T&C's before you find any reference of a deposit. This caused me significant problems on the day and I ended up having to pay the car hire company at the full day rate just to secure the vehicle for an important meeting that I needed to attend.
My advice to any potential customer would be to avoid this company at all costs... because they have refused to refund any money or offer a fair compromise, then hid behind their dodgy Terms & Conditions as a pathetic excuse. Do your self a big favour, book direct with the hire companies, you may have to pay more, but you will get peace of mind and be treated fairly...

Carjet is a car rental comparison site that you can book through. A car was booked for me through Carjet in August. When I arrive to pick the car up from the third party car rental office, it was shut. It had been shut for 5 months due to Covid. The third party rental company had emailed Carjet the day after I had booked to advise that they could not honour the booking. Carjet had not passed that message on. Due to their error I had to take a taxi, 3 hour train journey, and then book another car at the last minute on a Bank Holiday weekend, which all added up to approximately £600 and a lot of hassle.
Carjet apologised for the error and eventually agreed to refund the booking amount. They told me in November that they would be sending a compensation offer shortly. This never materialised and they now refuse to compensate for the expenses incurred because of their oversight, even though they are undoubtedly responsible and originally acknowledged this. They have now stopped communicating altogether. We will pursue a claim through legal routes, which is ridiculous for a pretty clear fault.
While my experience is probably a rare occurrence, how they have handled the matter has been woeful. No one takes responsibility, there doesn't seem to be a dedicated customer service team, their manner varies between pleasant and obnoxious, and I would not have confidence in how they would handle any complicated issue, such as an accident or breakdown.
Whatever the cause, the effect is a potentially a very inconvenient, frustrating, and costly experience (in time and money). Make life simple and book with someone else.

I have tried to resolve the matter with Carjet, with three emails in the last month, including escalating to the CEO and other senior people, as well as the usual customer service email addresses. I have not received any response. They have my phone number and email address; they can easily respond to me. There is plenty of competition in this market; use a more reliable, responsible company.

Rent a car with CarJet during holiday in Chania, Krete and paid online upfront for Peugeot 308 or similar. Car I got when arrived on site (local company was Abby Car) was Suzuki Baleno (after a huge argument as primarly they were offering Nissan Micra!). Difference in price for these two cars on CarJet page is ~220EUR for 7 day rental. I raised complain on CarJet webpage, but for two weeks I have not received ANY response despite my follow up emails. When called the support line I heard these are the cars from same segment and they won't do anything about this! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

We had the worst experience ever when renting a car with CarJet.
We live in France, traveling to Athènes, Greece and, according to CarJet voucher, were supposed to rent a car in AddCar Rental. In France, there is no distinction between debit and credit cards; we simply refer to them as "banking cards," which we use for all our purchases, whether in stores or online, including car rentals in various European countries, including Greece.
To our surprise, when dealing with CarJet, we discovered that we couldn't rent a car using our French banking card (MasterCard). The only option available was to pay for the car insurance with AddCar renting company, despite the fact that we had already paid for insurance through CarJet. The agent in AddCar Rental was rude. He told us that he didn't care about our existing car insurance and explained that he couldn't place the security deposit on our MasterCard debit card. We attempted to contact CarJet by phone in order to resolve this issue, but were unable to reach them. We then tried to cancel the duplicate insurance through CarJet website, only to find that it wasn't possible to do so after the pick up time specified on the voucher had passed.
Consequently, we ended up paying 400 euros instead of the 200 euros stated in CarJet voucher, not to mention that the car was old and of poor quality. It feels like CarJet is absolute experts in scamming.

Had a rental car all booked at MCO airport (Orlando, FL) on 3/13/23. The advertised price was stellar. I paid the initial down payment of $38.12 (I'm so glad it wasn't more). Per the rental agreement contract I was to contact the car provider with whom CarJet partners with, for a shuttle pickup to take us to their offsite lot for the car. I made over 50 phone calls to the rental car provider (Street Rent A Car). No answer. Their v/m was 'full', so I could not leave a message. The phone auto-attendant option to leave my phone number for a return text went nowhere. I researched and found 3 other phone numbers associated with Street Rent A Car, all with the same auto-attendant. CarJet's only direct contact phone number was an overseas number, no response. Finally, after 2 hours of constant 'no-contact', I was forced to secure a car from a reputable agency, but at almost 3 times the price I had contracted with CarJet. To date, no one from CarJet has responded to my calls, my online requests, or emails demanding a refund of my down payment. A complete F-you blow-off. Again, I'm thankful my loss was only $38. I did get in touch with my c/c company, filed a claim for a merchant mis-charge, and they refunded my down payment. SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION AND STRESS. Clearly CarJet has $#*!ty customer service, and from the reviews I've read online from other customers, CarJet uses shady car providers and has zero integrity. ZERO RATING STARS FROM ME. Rent at your own peril!

A month ago I gave Car Jet 5 stars for ease of booking since then I have picked up and returned my car and can now give a full review. I now give them 1 star and would not recommend them for the following reasons:
1) The shuttle information. To the car rental pick up point at Heathrow is wrong and this delayed us 1 1/2 hours and we had to catch a cab.
2) We had to change our holiday plans in UK and leave for France earlier than expected and had the following problems:
A) The Carjet web site does not allow you to schedule an early return.
B) It was impossible to get an answer from the Customer Service number or leave a message. Phone calls simply do not complete.
C) Nobody answered the telephone number for the Heathrow dealership either.
D) I emailed Customer Services but only got an automated reply saying it would be referred to the manager.
E) I, therefore, drove the car to the Easirent dealership and it was closed at 10:30 pm. The website says it is open until 00:30 am.
F) There was no Drop Box.
G) The Moxi hotel would not take the key and said this happens alot and people simply leave their cars in the Car park
H) I, therefore, put my keys in an envelope and placed it on the dashboard for Easirent in the morning.
I) I emailed Customer Services telling them what I had done and where they could find the car.
J) I got another automated reply.
K) Having not got a closing invoice I was concerned that the car could have been stolen so emailed Customer Service yet again. No reply.
L) So deeply concerned one week later I called Easirent and got through.
Fortunately the car was still there 1 week later and my account is closed. Though Car Jet advertise that you can return the car at any time this is difficult and they will not refund you even in the most extraneous of circumstances. All round a bad choice for me. Price is not everything.
