Don't waste your money
September 10, 2024

I waited for my order for a week. Only to see today that it was returned to sender because of incorrect address on the shipping label. I checked to ensure I entered the correct address which I did. I call customer service just to be told that I need to re-order the items while I'm waiting for the refund which will only be processed once the items are received back at their warehouse. That has to be a joke. Why would I allow you to charge my card twice when I have no items. Sounds like a scam!

This is so long I cannot even fit everything in here but don't support this business. They are very dishonest. I ordered 2 times and both times was cancelled but sent through my card. Then said it would take 10 days to remove it. Couldn't give a zero rating

Confusion of Genders
June 17, 2023

Today I walked into a Carter's baby clothing store and immediately felt lost and confused by the way the store was set up. They mixed all the girls clothing with the boy clothing making it very difficult to find anything. I asked the girl at the counter why the clothes were all mixed in together. All she said is that corporate was experimenting with new changes and likely would keep the design the same. I asked if what they were doing was implementing transgenderism into their model to cause gender confusion. No answer. It's clear they have gone WOKE and I won't be buying their line of clothing anymore because they want to pervert and corrupt the minds of children. SICK!

Ordered at website to be sent as a gift for my one year old niece. Only received emails stating my order was delayed. Waited. Waited... Finally called and was told my order was cancelled since the shipping didn't match my billing. I had to call to.learn this but worse of all you cannot place gift orders to be delivered to recipient of gift. Total bs. Never again for Carter's

Late fees on due date.

I'm sad to say that I'll be closing my account. I just learned that I've been charged a late fee even though I'm paying on the due date. I'm so sorry that I haven't paid before 5pm on those dates. You're ridiculous. This is offensive it's:5:10 pm. I will be paying the card off and closing this account. Beware of how they're overcharging their customers. Shame on you.

Run the worse people in the world. Carter Kids Clothes uses Bread Financial aka under credit card brand Comenity® Mastercard® Credit Card. These people act like the mob. First they do not send paper statements unless you pay for them, they send it to email address even if it is wrong or the mail goes to spam you you do not see the statement. They do this to charge abusive late fees and usury interest. They abusive in their interest and late fees and their customer service people act and behave like wise guys. DO NOT USE BREAD FINANCIAL THEIR COMENITY or CARTER KIDS CLOTHS.

Terrible Service
April 19, 2024

This is the first bad review I have ever given. I was going to pay cash but the cashier said I could use my card and get a discount. We did not end up getting the discount and I unfortunately (my fault) was a few hours late in paying on it and got a late fee. When I got the bill I immediately sent a note back asking if it could be waived. It was easier then trying to get in touch with them by the phone. Then without hearing anything back I get a phone call asking to pay the late fee for the late fee!

I worked at the carters in williston Vermont. The place was run by an incredibly rude women who will never follow your availability, demand you work more then you agreed on in the interview, wont let you have water on the sales floor, questions your health even when you tell her you have medical issues, talks smack about you and makes it very clear you wont have friends. It was horrible.

I placed an order a week ago with Carter's, and later got a notification an item was out of stock so the order was canceled & I got my money back. They gave me a discount so I went in to place a different order. I tried to place it, was charged, but the website stayed on the "my
Cart page" and didn't process. It did this twice. Customer service told me it wasn't an actual charge, but the money is clearly still gone from my account. The next person told me to wait a few more days, but stated they can see on their end that multiple charges tried to go through & I was charged twice. The person after that left the chat. Wish I would have read reviews on this awful website before placing an order with them. Will never ever do it again, I suggest you do the same.

I hate this credit card and decided to look for how to leave a review. It's the worst credit card I've ever owned. I had to call customer service and cancel it. I made purchase of $53 and ended up paying hundreds of dollars because someone is not doing their job. I called somany times just to make a payment and and everything I get an email with a fee saying how it didn't go through and all the charges and interest. How are my other credit card payments from thesame account going through. I think they know exactly what they are doing. I finally called them and beg to cancel the card.

Paid off my account last month and this month I received a bill for $2.00. When I asked why, I was told it was interest charges because of a late payment 3 months ago. I paid a late fee and interest charges already. That was acknowledged and said this fee doesn't post until you have a $0 balance. Seems shady to me

I had a terrible shopping experience with Carter's and don't recommend anyone buy items from this company unless you want to be disappointed. I ordered a t-shirt with a sports logo from Carter's for my child for a special school event – a shirt I was only able to find through their website. I made sure to order well in advance of their shipping timelines for a store pickup and the day before the item was supposed to be ready, I found out they cancelled/refunded the order. There was no notification sent to me and I only found out after manually looking up the order. That left me scrambling to find something else for my son so he wouldn't be disappointed for his special event. Completely unacceptable for a shopping experience that failed to deliver, especially for busy parents who are already tight on time. Do better Carter's.

The site is not user friendly and they are always have some issue with the order you place and have to contact the customer service to get it resolved and most of the time they are not able to resolved the issue.

We love carters. They are a very rare brand that still makes clothes 100% cotton for a very good price. More so than that I needed to leave a comment about the employee (Jaimie) who just was all around amazing person and also had excellent costumer service and people skills. Not only was she helpful and genuine, all while being extremely professional, she was all over the store organizing patiently and multi tasking! I truly hope that she advances and gets career she dreams of, because she has all the traits of someone that would be an asset for any company. Oh, we were shopping at west palm beach, fl outlet location (on palm beach lakes). I didn't know her name until I looks at our electronic receipt and just needed to Praia this wonderful young women!

Web site does not accept payment on the date it is sent. Finding payment web site is not user friendly, and when login is unsucessful it sends you to another web site. Late fee is high should payment be late. Entering payment on web site on due date, the site will not accept payment until the next day. Then they charge an additional late fee the next month. For example I entered my late fee on web site and it would not take it that day, and next month they charged an additional late fee. A total of $69 in late fees for a $131 purchase.
Phone support is not helpful either.

Terrible customer service. I bought 4 pieces for of winter clothing, all same size, the one my toddler normally wears. I washed them all before wearing, as suggested, to find that one of them is significantly smaller than the others. Carters won't address this and won't exchange the item for a larger size because it has no tags and washed. Beware of their sloppy sizes before you waste your money. Standards

Very disappointed
July 25, 2022

I used to be very happy with Carter's products and service. Now it seems they're going downhills. The store in our area closed. The only way to buy from them now is online and there's no way to see the items and decide if they're good or not for me that way. So 2 of the sets I ordered were synthetic and my daughter is allergic so I need to return them. NO FREE RETURNS. Every other store has free return even by mail, but not Carter's, it's at least $6. I've had things ordered and returned overseas, that cost a lot less, and their shipping cost is a lot cheaper. So now I have to drive to their closest store which takes me over 1 hour. And the only way to contact them on the app is a robot. So much for their So disappointing. It used to be a great brand. Now I guess, no more ordering at Carter's.

Online order ridiculous

The WORST customer service. I tried 4 times yesterday and then after waiting 45 min for each call they clicked me off. Never even had opportunity to say hello. Plugged phone into charger this morning at 10:00 and accepted the offer to leave phone number and not loose my place in line. I accepted this offer from 3 different phone lines. Never received a call back and it's now 8:00 pm... currently on hold again and it's cut me off 3 times. I'm having trouble with my cart. The local store said sorry we can't help with that problem. Carters should be ashamed to offer sales and then not have staffing or trained staff that can handle their customers. I will write another review should I receive a response to this review. Carters should respond to me otherwise why have a forum for reviews if they are not willing to hear complaints and improve. I'll keep you posted..

I have placed 6 orders in past 2.5 months, not a single one has been without issue (lost packages, warehouse shipping delays, surprise inability to return an item, etc.) What's worse is that the customer "service" function seems to be nonexistent-- emails go unanswered for a week, then greeted by entirely unhelpful responses, when escalated team cannot find documentation of emails sent to/from the support team, etc. Insanely frustrating and a waste of time and money. Buy Carter's for the quality of their products but DO NOT buy directly from Carter's--you'll never get to enjoy the quality of items you never receive.

Carter's is Awesome!

I like Carter's because their clothing is good quality, the site always seems to work well and they'll adjust my purchase price if something goes on sale right after I buy it. Shipping takes a little time but it's usually free so, no complaints here!:-)
