For some reason, I'm on Carters "review list" and can't order with them anymore, like ever and customer service can't explain to me why this is. I've never heard of such a thing and I've never had negative history with anyone but Apparently I do with Carter's, HA! I hardly have a history at all with Carter's! It's absolutely ridiculous and they've lost my business and my friends and family. I'm glad they're business is doing so well that they can afford to lose business for no apparent reason. I've talked to multiple people at customer service, waiting for calls back and nothing.
I ordered gifts for a family member's baby shower. Carter's charged my card, but never shipped. Carter's Customer Service rep said they never received payment, which they did 3 weeks earlier. Then her manager (Mr Attitude), when pressed, came clean stating that Carter's received the order, took the payment, but just didn't bother shipping. To make matters worse, he said he would cancel the order and that we had to go online and generate the order all over again. Instead of following through with the original order, he had no faith in his own company and said he would rather refund the order. With so many better companies out there, why deal with this crap!
Placed an order 10-12-20 my fault for losing track of time but as wrapping noticed I didn't have it. Looked at email said it was in my state at the warehouse, called CS to ensure delivery as it's a Christmas gift only to be lied to several times including that I had already been refunded for this item NOPE. The "team lead" is a joke as she feels that title somehow makes her apology more sincere than the client service reps. Bottom line is they are rude, they lie and now I'll take my business elsewhere.

This is the second time that I had placed an online order and this is the second time for terrible customer service and never arriving products.
I am beyond disgusted at the response " ma'am there's nothing we can do, it's out of our hands. Seriously Carter's, that's your response to your customers?!?!?!? Absolutely terrible!
Also, if FedEx is the root of your problems, then why don't you get an different logistics company. For God sakes, stop blaming everyone else and take some responsibility for your cs and products!
I honestly hope my recorded phone call gets into someone's hands that respects customers and wants to make things right. If I hear "Ma'am, there's nothing I can do, I apologize, but it's out of our hands, shipping is 3 to 7 business days. I'm going to blow my top!
I ordered shoes for my son to wear for a special occasion. Well when purchased they gave me a date of arrival that was a couple weeks earlier. Then I received a text saying it's delayed a week then another text saying it's now going to be delivered the day after the event. So much for that. Probably grow out of them by the time I actually get them. That's why I don't usually and never will again shop there.
I placed my order on 12/8. I finally just got an email yesterday saying my package would be delivered by 12/24. I thought thank goodness at least it will be there for Christmas. It's my nephew's first Christmas and I did not want his present to be late. This morning I got an email from FedEx saying that my delivery date would be 12/27. This is absolutely unacceptable. It looks like everybody's having the same exact problem.
When I had a small issue with a defective item, the rep I spoke with at Carter's was quick to rectify the problem. I would not hesitate to shop there again and can easily award them 5* for being so consumer friendly. One of the best online retailers.
Clothes were fine -once they FINALLY arrived AFTER Christmas! Ordered weeks before and were supposed to arrive by 12/20. Called and never got a call back as promised. Called again and held 2 hours! Will not buy online from them again. Very disappointed.
I placed an online order for two pairs of gladiator sandals for my granddaughters because the store didn't have their sizes. The shoes arrived within three days. Unfortunately, one pair was too small. So I took them back to the store and ordered in-store a larger pair to be delivered to my home. I literally, just two weeks prior needed to exchange two pair of shoes that were too big for smaller sizes. That transaction went perfectly. Unfortunately, that WAS NOT the case the second time around by no stretch of the imagination! I had to repeatedly call to find out where the shoes were because I never got an email with shipping OR tracking information. However, I did get the run around each time I called for information! Finally after fifth call I received an email with the tracking number I asked for four days prior! It said the shoes will be delivered today... June 7. We shall see. Order placed in-store May 31.
This company is an absolute piss take i ordered and payed for a pair of shoes in January 2022 result. Promises of delivery dates not honoured and it is now June 2022 and no further contact from them. Treat them like the plague. Brian.
I ordered some things on 12/3/2019 to have it shipped to store for pick up. I have yet to receive anything. I can see that the order hasn't even been sent. I have tried reaching out and nothing. They took our money and left. Never will I buy anything again.
I order from carter's for my 2 year old grandson. I usually shop off season and get great sales. They ship very fast and usually not expensive. Quality is good especially since he outgrows before he wears very much

Also doesn't hurt at all your eyes when you get in and see the soft pastel colors it's all softness and cuteness... what to look at first?... boy or girl?
Way TOO LONG for delivery. PLUS package left in rain. SO wet & damaged. No alert to delivery. Pitiful service even though I've ordered from site numerous times. Really need to improve delivery. It SUCKS?!

I will never shop at Carters again nor will I allow my family! I was double charged for my order and have yet to receive my money back! That's $200.22 they took! No one answers the phones or responds to emails I've been calling and sending last few days!

From what it looks like, everyone is having the same problem with Carter's. I placed an order on 11/30/19 and it was cancelled 12/12/19... I just spoke with customer service today 12/12/19 and they said it will arrive by the 12/16/19. On hour later, i received an email stating "items has been cancelled per your request. I never called to cancel this order, never again will I shop online with Carter's. There shipping is the worst I ever experience.
My grandson never received the $200 gift card I sent. Called and asked them if they would pay the mailing fee to send it with a trackable number, but they don't do that. So they would rather lose a $200 sale and customer, than re-send the gift card with tracking. Will never do business with them again. They don't care at all about customer service
We have a few items from Carters and they are nice for the most part. I would say they focus on style more than quality, but this stuff doesn't exactly last a lifetime anyway.
Retail/web store is quite expensive, but the outlet is more affordable and a second-hand children's store in your area is likely the best way to seek out Carter's items on a budget.
Carter's is my wife's favorite place to get clothes online for the kids. They've got a great selection, great deals, and great customer service. I think we even got some of our baby furniture from from Carter's too.
Very disappointed. I paid extra $25 for a good reason, because I really need the package to arrive the next day. I can't receive the package the day after as we won't be in the US anymore. Give! Me! My! Money! Back! Don't buy from carter's online shop!

Answer: I have found better online. Sometimes just 2.99 for shirt, shorts or pj. I always buy off season and get Hugh discounts. The only problem is variety but I'm not picky. I just buy what I like and check again later. Good luck
