Carvana is a joke. We have purchased 7 vehicles from Carvana. We found a different vehicle before any transportation or anything was done to the corvette ordered. We changed to a Land Rover. Delivery on both of these vehicles was weeks away. They refused to refund the shipping fee because it was not within 24 hours. It was 48. The customer service team was rude and provided little assistance. The manager sent me a response and immediately disconnected himself when I asked for reconsideration. I have a law degree and will be seeking remedies so others are not taken advantage of by this company. They will be headed down the same path as Vroom with thesr Business practice. I implore you do not give this company your money. They don't care about their customers only stealing your money.
Carvana was very helpful finding an affordable car for me. I wanted a van. The representative I spoke with was kind and informative. They worked hard to keep me in the loop. They quickly found the car I needed. We get down to discussing price and the rep says "just let us know your down payment, for example, you can put $500 down and drive away!" I told her that sounds great and all but I don't want to be tied to this for years. I'm willing to put down at least $3000 today and then pay the car off as quickly as possible...
Haven't heard a word from them since. I guess they only want customers they can string along and milk for years . Thier loss.
My family bought from Carvana in May 2023 in MA. They gave them a "temp 3mth" registration. They have not sent the plates or registration.Over 50 calls and texts. They are nice on the ph, but never actually follow thru. Its Dec.2023. They offer $ for the inconvenience, but never send it. Some states have filled Class Action suits about this very problem.DO NO BUT FROM THEM. We checked the Sec of State site, the vehicle we are paying on is not registered to our name... ITS ALL A SCAM
On 01/18 my husband and I signed a contract for a vehicle 1290 down, 990 delivery to be put against our loan as down payment when vehicle delivered. Insurance submitted, banking information submitted, everything completed and delivery to be 01/27. The very next day on 01/19, they told us we could get the vehicle 2 days earlier. We asked an advocate how to do this and they told us to change the delivery date. By doing this, the terms completely changed and they say they dont have original contract. We asked how long the contracts and terms are good for. They said 30 days. So you have no way of getting the old contract. The next morning they took 7100 from our account. We were assured by Carvana that the money will be put back minus the 990 for the delivery. We had to cancel the charge with the bank. Now - they wont give us the 990 back for delivery of a vehicle we never received and will not honor the original contract. They will do nothing and will not allow us to speak to anyone but an advocate. Looking into attorneys.

One of the most magical days of my life was buying my car with carvana!, I got it out of the vending machine! It was so much fun! Customer service.Omg! Excellent! Everyone there is so cool! I mean really! However, if you decide to sell your recently purchased vehicle through them, by them, be prepared to not only loose money, but have your pockets turned inside out. So I would advise buy from them, do not sell to them, and you will be a happier person
We tried to buy a car. We canceled the order. Carvana withdrew $8800 the next day "by accident" and won't give it back for 7-10 days. Since I'm not buying a car I cannot get anyone to even talk to me. I cannot wrap my head around how much this will cost because of all the fees I will be charged by my bank because they cleaned out my account.
Most adds now lead to Carvana. Sort of feels like a annoying funnel. So choose a car that could be delivered on a day I was around for it and had no scratches. Turns out they could not deliver by the day they said they could. Annoying that they had it in the computer wrong. But wait it gets better. Now missing things that were in the pictures and has scratches that were never mentioned in the add. So this vehicle is now several thousand dollars over priced with no negotiation for said price. Only thing available is take it or leave it. Positive note I have already spoke with about 40 people on not using Carvana and most have been really receptive to the idea of not using Carvana

I have a 2019 BMW that I was interested in selling as I live alone and have four cars which is far too many. This car has less than 15,000 miles on it and has been garage kept in a climate controlled Garage. It looks as new without any rock chips or damage of any kind. It has never been smoked in as well. The cost of this vehicle new was $125,895. Their offer to purchase was $76,000. The local BMW dealer offered $88,500.
They obviously didn't really want the car! They should have told be that in the beginning before I went through all of the "hoops" they made me go through for information about the car!
I ordered a car and when I went to pick it up they'd "lost" the manufacturer's charging and tire repair kits (you know, the ones they'd had in the photos on the website?). They replaced them with kits that were cheap and not anywhere near the value of the ones that had been photographed. Plus they didn't even charge the car enough for me to get home. No price adjustment of course. Steer clear of these pirates!
I caution you against doing business with Carvana. The process is far from easy. It's difficult to reach customer service, there are numerous delays with no accountability. Do NOT buy/trade with Carvana!

I got the car and there were several dents, scratches and interior damage that were not in the pictures on their website. Not to mention how long it takes to get registration… I would not waste your time.

My delivery date has been rescheduled 8 times the most recent time today the day before July 4th! I confirmed delivery for this morning yesterday only to receive a call this morning before I'm suppose to pick up the vehicle they have yet another so called snag! So in short never received the vehicle and now looking else where to purchase one! People do not haste your time Ive been waiting for this vehicle for a month in counting!
Upon purchasing and putting the down payment, my vehicle was delayed 3 times. First shipping problems, then were saying something was wrong with the vehicle, still dont know what it was. Finally after a month of waiting for a month it arrived. However wasn't clean, shattered glass all in the trunk and third row.
The future of car buying is not Carvana. Carvana's verification process for down payment funds (my bank does not connect through plaid) and loan (since my loan is through a third party) is tedious and time consuming. The only reason I wanted to use Carvana was to avoid spending half a day or more dealing with high pressure sales people. Instead, over the span of a week I spent half a day or more in my office and on the phone dealing with Carvana's verification process. Be prepared for long wait times with Carvana's "advocates" and dropped calls. Carvana's process does not make life easier, it merely aggravates the car buying process. Do not recommend. Stick to your local dealer. Even assuming I can close my current deal I will not use Carvana again.

My experience, at this time, is limited to Carvana's customer service, "advocates," and verification personnel. The Carvana personnel I spoke with over the phone are great but the wait times and Carvana's verification process is burdensome, tedious and hellish.
Got a 15 escalde from Carvana. It is complete garbage from day 1. Suspension, noises, and now months later still waiting for them to remove a credit inquiry that was not authorized. I went thru a credit union so they were not suppose to run my credit. 6 months later and its still has noise and rides like crap. Oh and you guessed right, inquiry still was never removed. Beware and stay far away.

Submitted my car to sell to them. Put every little detail in, they gave offer, I accepted.
When they showed up (late,) acted as if they didn't know about some of the details, said I needed to fix them, and resubmit!
When I called them to complain, the lady said, "Yes, the details were in there but a computer handles submissions and makes offers. Humans do not read them prior.?
What is the purpose of adding details then?

My Husband sent in all the information, and ran his credit. Second day come we thought we was done with information except insurance. Next thing you know the monthly payment went up again, so customer service said we can cancel and take a look at other vehicles in more of our budget all our info was verified so we found another vehicle we like and try to purchase. Next thing we know the customer service rep was saying we had to start at the beginning including credit being run again. We hung up. After 3 months of buying this car, I still have no plates. With no idea of when it will arrive, there is a good possibility it may never arrive. Carvana makes you sign an agreement so that you cannot sue them even if they sell you a car you can never drive. It's all a great big corporate con!
I HATE dealing with dealers and thought this would be a relatively pain free experience. It seemed organized and going well. I secured a loan through my credit union, secured insurance, sold our second car a day before the new car was scheduled to arrive, and had things ready to go. Right after the car sold I received a text about a delay- 3 days. Rearranged transportation and thought it is just a couple of days, that's ok. Two days later, another text, now delayed another 7 days. Reached out and listened to them apologize, blah blah blah. They didn't anticipate anymore delays. Just got another text it will be another 6 day delay. My loan has now expired. I need to contact insurance company because I have paid for insurance on a car I do not own. I am scrambling to find another car. SO mad at myself for trusting this company,

The car keeps getting delayed right before the delivery date so what's the purpose of telling people when it will arrive? Purchased a 2015 Nissan Altima it had 35,000 miles. Then less than a year I need engine because camshaft stuck. I feel they change odometer readings because this should not be an issue with low miles. I had an animal living in my car before I purchased it that chewed battery cables. Something fishy about Carvana.
Good luck getting a refund (even before closing). I ordered a car to find out that it couldn't be titled. That was fine because i hadn't closed on the purchase but when requesting a refund it has been a complete nightmare.
While driving on the highway, all of my crash, emergency lights turned on, that caused the car to go into coast mode. Nothing like coast mode on the highway when already doing about 70. I called Carvana informed them that there was a problem with the car and that they sold me a car that was in an accident. They stated that since it was past seven days, there's nothing they can do and I was up for me to deal with with the extended warranty. Carvana has no care in the world about customer safety. I jumped through all the hoops and was ready to head out in the morning to take my car and trade it for a new one. Then last minute I get an email saying the deal has to be redone because they want to give me 3,000 less for my car because it has 300 more miles than I said it did. In my case I had the worst experience,we choose a vehicle submitted all the documents got approved paid down payment 5k and when we went to pick up the car it was bad they didn't even vacuum inside,bad tires when we showed it to the sales person they asked to give them some time to take care of it and schedule a another appointment after 4days and when we went after 4 days Guess what same thing they did not do anything of fix anything, why would you move an appointment when you are not gone fix anything except just wasting someone's time. Very unprofessional, would not recommend or buy anything from them.
