Carvana is an amazing concept in buying cars! No dealing with bull$#*!,, no pesky annoying sales people. It's real honest. You chose what you want and it dispenses it like a candy after depositing a coin! Can't wait to get my Mercedes and Range Rover delivered soon! I even bought a nice chunk of stock in it so you know it's good!
Carvana is a joke. We have purchased 7 vehicles from Carvana. We found a different vehicle before any transportation or anything was done to the corvette ordered. We changed to a Land Rover. Delivery on both of these vehicles was weeks away. They refused to refund the shipping fee because it was not within 24 hours. It was 48. The customer service team was rude and provided little assistance. The manager sent me a response and immediately disconnected himself when I asked for reconsideration. I have a law degree and will be seeking remedies so others are not taken advantage of by this company. They will be headed down the same path as Vroom with thesr Business practice. I implore you do not give this company your money. They don't care about their customers only stealing your money.
The car had 8600 miles when delivered. Within 3 months it needed a break job, rear defrost not working, car delivered
With dirty cabin air filter! Called Carvana and was told tough luck. Do yourself a favor and do not buy from carvana
Carvana is a joke. Don't waste your time. They made me an offer. When the woman got here to pick up the vehicle she was incapable of driving the vehicle on her lift, blamed it on the car and wouldn't take it. Customer service was no help at all.
Tip for consumers:
Do not waste your time

The worst experience ever. It was beyond frustrating, lengthy, meaning price continues to increase, you upload everything which is super basic, like license, but you get an email to call & confirm but no one ever picks up. You might get a text days later but it's not even remotely helpful as it just says to call. There is not one reason that this is the better way to buy or trade your car
I bought my car and was delivered may 28th and it is now august 3rd. No plates, registration, and failure to call me about this. Completely not reliable when it comes to calling them, no help. I paid for it in full, so yes, they have taken my money. Legally, I can not drive this car. My temporary license plate expired quite a while ago. Would NEVER recommend Carvana. I still have no idea when I will be able to receive everything for my car. I bought a car that is WORTHLESS to me right now!
This company made an offer on my car which I accepted within 24 hours. They then changed the offer by lowering it $315 in the paperwork. I asked why and they said that I put more miles on it which isn't true as it hadn't moved out of the garage where it is kept. Then after confronting them again about it they said that they lowered it because they couldn't get the figures to work out properly otherwise. What? What a crock. I do NOT recommend this sketchy company who has illegal practices.

I made the mistake of buying a car from Carvana. I took the car to the mechanic one day after delivery and he found a huge rat nest on the motor plus the cabin filter was so clogged with hair and peanut shells that the A/C wouldn't cool. They said they do a 150 point inspection but obviously that was not done as they did not even open the hood. "Advocate" there told me that could have happened after I got the car - I had it for one day! Now the tires have broken belts, are dry-rotted and the struts and shocks and brakes have to be replaced too. Unfortunately I trusted them and did not realize the car had so many problems until after the 100 days they allow for any repairs. Now they will do nothing. Avoid Carvana or get a lemon like I did!
Id get more for my car if it was stolen. They low ball and take advantage if people. Then, the offer is not real. They offer it, you accept it, then its oh we gotta find someone close to you.
All smoke and mirrors
Look elsewhere for decent people, they lie.
My car appraised independantly for *******. And offered *******. Lol lol they gave lost their mind. But they would gladly refinance another car and put my 2500 overage on the new one. No problem. Lol run away

Purchased a car and extended warranty from Carvana and it was a big mistake. Within 3 weeks the the breaks needed repair because they were installed incorrectly, the car had been given a fake paint job that washed off in places so. Ow there's spots with no paint, the molding fell off because it was glued down instead of bolted so now the car leaks, and tires were 6 years old and had dry rot and the tread is of course all the way worn down. Carvana has done nothing and the extended warranty denied coverage (of course). The customer service at carvana has been absolutely horrible, all they do is blame the customer and deny responsibility. Awful experience all the way around. Buyer beware. This place is a scam.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid Carvana, they lie, their customer service is awful and they sell poor quality cars

Carvana delayed pickup on my first order by 1 month due to car vending machine breakdown, then we find another car to be picked up at another location and they delay that pickup by 3 days after agreeing to a previous date, we needed a car so we took our business to another car dealer, they are very unreliable, beware.
Carvana terminated our contract for the sale of my car even though I was able to get them the final document required on the day of expiration. The reason it was so late is because the company who had the document would not email it to me, it was a Friday, and there was no postal service over the weekend. It had to go priority overnight. Which landed it there on Monday which was the expiration date. Carvana cut off communication, said the offer had expired and wanted to start the process over, which would have caused me to lose $4000. They don't care about their customers, just the bottom line.
I purchased a 2019 Jeep Trailhawk on 6/21/21, they were supposed to transfer registration. Placed in documents, called their agents, and even gave a copy to the delivery agent. They sent me a new tag that cost me an impact fee for new registration. I called and they sent me to DMV, DMV said no, because Carvana hasn't released in system. Ok, called carvana back, they claimed it was now released, waited 4 days and went back to DMV, no they haven't released. Grrr, so frustrating, considering the Jeep has been at dealer for a week of the three weeks of ownership. Their inspection process or inspectors missed a major exhaust leak, wtf? So just got Jeep back today and it's running fine, but really, an exhaust leak? When I asked what the noise was on delivery, agent said 4WD models are louder, BS. Long story short, I'll never do business with them again.
PS, both dealer and DMV said the same thing, no surprise for them, that's carvana.

Worst experience of my life. I had to return the first vehicle. Body and mechanical damage. I thought... ok. A fluke. Second vehicle looked good and ran well until the bumper started falling off. Significant rear end damage. Complained and Nicholas from the executive resolution team said that it was on the 150-point checklist (was not) and so was the front-end damage. Huh? Took it for an estimate. A lot of damage to the front-end. This car had been totaled and they pawned it off on me as if it had a few scratches, all the while knowing this information. The car had been auctioned. So I am stuck paying for a vehicle at the price of a good used car when in reality it was totaled. Oh and I have spent about $1000 on mechanical issues. Just beware. Not worth dealing with these people.
I purchased a 2018 Wrangler Unl from Carvana... easy buying process... financing was through Bridgecrest... everything went down from there.
Bridgecrest is horrible to deal with. Carvana will tell you to call with any problems, but they do not help at all. The customer service people at Carvana will just tell you to contact Bridgecrest... and that is just a fresh hell. So... best choose another car dealership or find your own financing. Both do these companies, Bridgecrest and Carvana are not ethical.
I called about 4 days into my 7 to return the vehicle and was told if I'm looking to get another from them that I should keep looking and wait to call back on day 6 as it is easier to just change out cars than to get mine back and get another! I'm now at over a month of trying to get my car back and still have no projected date of return! I'm paying insurance on 2 cars because of them, making payments on my car and now being harassed to make 1 on their car! Beyond sick of dealing with them! Save yourself and use a local dealer!

My nephew purchased a vehicle from Carvana. Registration never completed. Temporary tags expired and not updated. He was ticketed for expired plates. He had to register car himself and is still waiting months later for refund of his out of pocket payment that Carvana had previously collected as part of purchase
I jumped through hoops to get them everything they needed just to be told 5 minutes before delivery. It will not be delivered on Thursday before Xmas as needed but two days after Xmas. Rude as heck. Will never use service again!
I picked my car was approved sent in everything needed got a response that they couldn't verify my information and released the car I picked and signed all the papers on. Never once called me to tell me there was an issue so I could send in more information. These people take the cowardly way out and email you instead of doing the right thing to pick up the phone and call you. They just believe you're not being honest and drop the hammer on you.
4 star review is a complete lie more like 1 star and that's being kind. Thought I purchased a car paid for shipping did my paperwork they rescheduled pick up 4 times via text. I had to call then to find out the car I want was no longer available. They would have strung me along until November 11th mind you I was supposed to pickup the car on 9th of October.
Purchased a vehicle, signed all the documents. Get a call 3 hours before delivery of which we had to wait two weeks, they can locate the car!, could be two more weeks for delivery. They refused to refund our $290 delivery fee when we canceled because we already had plans to leave for vacation. This caused us do much mental stress. I would never purchase this way again. I will take them to small claim court to recover our cost if they don't return a delivery fee for a car they did not deliver and expected us to trust that they can get it to us in two more weeks. What a joke
Was pre-approved and bought car insurance for 2 different vehicles "because my deadline ran out" after speaking to a live person and not Sebastion their bot was sent an email stating I mislead them. Are you kidding me! What a waste of time for me and my insurance agent plus the money for 2 insurance policies for me. Thank god there are laws in place to protect Carvana victims like me.

Everything they promise on their website is bull$#!&. No hassle... nothing but hassle. Delivered to your door... had to pick it up. Buy a car from your couch... took 2 months to buy my car. Do not buy from Carvana, they are the worst and truly suck!
I can't tell if whoever looks at employment and income verification are just stupid or can't read. I re-submitted all of my bank statements, pay stubs, letter of employment, letter of job offer several times and still kept getting the 'you need to verify your income and employment'. Idiots. I can see why they don't have a high rating and am glad I canceled the order.
Tip for consumers:
Go to a real dealership. It was supposed to be easy to buy a car from Carvana, but it was painful enough for me to stop the process and I am glad I did. I do not recommend them at all.
Fell in love with a car online. Had my trade-in. With the 150 point inspection seems okay, right? The day I drove the Carvana car received low air pressure error. Filled the two and drove but error message wouldn't come off. Went to Carvana's referred garage. They lifted it to check for leaks. Found the whole half of the frame rusted out, plugged tire and sensor messed up. Their garage said to send it back. Within 7 day return, so returned it. Got my trade-in back. The inspection station in N.J. Threw away my wheel lock key. It was left in the glove compartment when I had them pick it up, and was in a bag labeled wheel lock key. Customer service said they'd reimburse me when I paid to replace the wheel locks. Replaced and receipts sent. Reimbursement was sent to somewhere in Delaware. I live in Connecticut. Was a nightmare. Terrible.
Tip for consumers:
Don't purchase vehicles from Carvana. They can't be trusted.
Broken head light lamp mount... faulty alarm system, frayed serpantine belt, battery was leaking acid, battery connection cables frayed by rodents and corroded... which told me the car was sitting somewhere for a long time. The body paint and clear coat was blemished throughout the vehicle, the tinting on the rear window is peeling off... I cant get a 14 day car rental so I can have the body cosmetic work fixed because I am responsible for the covering the complete upfront costs of the car rental. After the the costs are paid then Carvana will reimburse me 400 dollars of the total costs. I will NEVER buy again from Carvana. Eventually they will get caught up with by the authorities... stay clear of Carvana. Nothing is a guarantee with dealing with them.
Great concept but unreasonable expectations. I understand I have less than better credit and its due to the pandemic and medical reasons and with that my credit tanked.
I'm reasonable and in the past I could walk into any dealership do a sign and drive, in n out 15 minutes with whatever new car I wanted. Times have changed and I'm happy with a used seven year old $12,500 car with 100,000 miles.
Carvana terms for my pre-qualification is 18% ARP which I'm ok with. A 72 month term, which I'm ok with as well. But my down payment $10,900. Now I understand that they are securing their asset and I'm a potential risk, but if I had that amount of money, don't you think I would pay cash for a car?
My situation is embarrassing but Caravana is insulting.
Carvana is a better way to buy a car. Skip the dealership and buy online. Save $1,430 on average per purchase. Free delivery. 7-day money back guarantee.
