Carvana is an amazing concept in buying cars! No dealing with bull$#*!,, no pesky annoying sales people. It's real honest. You chose what you want and it dispenses it like a candy after depositing a coin! Can't wait to get my Mercedes and Range Rover delivered soon! I even bought a nice chunk of stock in it so you know it's good!
Carvana is a joke. We have purchased 7 vehicles from Carvana. We found a different vehicle before any transportation or anything was done to the corvette ordered. We changed to a Land Rover. Delivery on both of these vehicles was weeks away. They refused to refund the shipping fee because it was not within 24 hours. It was 48. The customer service team was rude and provided little assistance. The manager sent me a response and immediately disconnected himself when I asked for reconsideration. I have a law degree and will be seeking remedies so others are not taken advantage of by this company. They will be headed down the same path as Vroom with thesr Business practice. I implore you do not give this company your money. They don't care about their customers only stealing your money.
I bought a 2017 Nissan Armada from Carvana in April 2017. The Carfax said no reported damage. The back bumper paint started flaking off and a local body shop told me it was because it had been repainted and repainted poorly. I was never told of this by Carvana who never identified this repair. When I contacted Carvana Tyrone gave me the brush off and said nothing they could do. I suspect they are buying damaged cars cheaply repairing them and then selling them cheaply as was the case in mine. I will never buy from them again!
I tried to sell my 2016 Grand Caravan with 56,296 mi. On Carvana. They offered a good price. When it came time to pick up the vehicle they never showed up. They offered to return after hours to pick up the car. It is a scam. They have no money. Make sure they come during normal business hours with a bank check that can be verified by your local bank before you allow them to take your car!
These guys are obvious. I was going to purchase a car with them and went through all the paperwork. It was then I looked them up and saw all the lawsuits regarding titles and registration. So I called Carvana to at least be able to see a Title. They told me it "Wasn't possible". So I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that one would call me within a day or two. Nope. They cancelled my reservation! If that wasn't an obvious attempt to defraud, I don't know what is. Now I receive a notice from them that they won't finance me because they say my credit score is too low. 1) the score they show is 100 points lower than my actual. 2) It was a vindictive slap.
Now I'm turning it all over to the Florida Attorney General with hopes it only adds to that which has already been filed
Carvana is a total con artist at work. I agreed to a purchase and then cancelled the purchase after 30 hours. They did refund my purchase money but they kept the shipping fee even though they did not ship the vehicle. They said they kept the shipping fee because they had started the shipping paper work. I will never purchase a car from Carvana and I advise every one to stay avoid Carvana. Terrible customer service.
Where do I begin! I financed a car through Carvana February 2021. I paid the car off fully April 3o, 2021. I have gotten approximately 4 or 5 temporary plates. Last one expired September 22,2021. And they say they can't issue anymore, so, I can no longer drive my vehicle. I have been waiting for my registration since February and my title since April.
I would never recommend Carvana.
I wish I had never went this route!
Went through the process to trade my car in, picked a car, signed my contracts, and had a delivery date scheduled. 24 hours before delivery, they sent me an email that said, "sorry, we can't sell you this car. We'll call you in 24 hours to explain why."
I called them immediately, and got my call escalated to a rep. He told me that they didn't have the car. Wait… the pictures show Carvana plates on the car, and there was a so called 150 point inspection. How do you do that without having the car?
I'm staying very far away from this business. My BS meter is pinging like mad. I had switched my car after this, but I cancelled that too and just went to a dealership. 12 hours later, I had a charger hellcat and Carvana is disappearing very quickly in the rear view mirror.

I purchased a bmw from carvana. They said it went through inspection, and passed, I drove car 100 miles, engine malfunction warning came on. The car was dirty inside and under the hood. Do not purchase a vehicle from these people, invested 8 hours into this car purchase to get a rotten car, then their repair shop isn't the BMW dealership, it's Monroe and Meinike? We gave car back and purchased from a real dealership.
Tip for consumers:
Carvana need to be shut down. They're liars and not to be trusted for dependable , working vehicles.
I purchased a car from Carvana and less than 24 hours before delivery I was notified by them that there are two warning lights being shown and do I want to receive the car. I investigate the cost to rectify the warning lights and found cost repair was $1000. 00
Carvana would not pay the amount to independent Mini specialist.
I refuse the car and it was back on the market to sell to next victim that evening.
So much for the 150 point inspection.

Carmax better choice
They seemingly approved my loan application, took thousands of dollars from my bank in downpayment, and forced me to buy an insurance policy. I then waited for several days with no response other than that the delivery of my car was on track. They finally texted me and gave me 3 hours to complete some "extra income verification" by providing them with tax returns. When I couldn't do that, they cancelled my order and offered me no help on how to regain the money I paid for insurance. The "advocate" I talked with online - a person named Valentina - was also incredibly rude and blunt. What kind of car dealer takes your money and then refuses to approve your loan application?
I ordered a car and was expecting delivery. I was waiting for over 4 hours. I called to Carvana to find out they cancelled my order without notifying me. I requested a refund and now they are giving me the run around I didn't cancel in time. I called numerous times to relate they are the ones that cancelled my order and what is the problem. I now have to go into my bank branch and fill out paperwork to dispute the fee. No I wonder many people they have done this to and can imagine the MILLIONS of dollars they are ripping off of people, I would not recommend them at all.
My husband found a car he liked on Carvana and paid a $100 deposit to "reserve" it. He was told they would bring the car to him for a test drive within 3 days. After 5 days he called and was told the car "has already been sold". Also, Carvana had been unable to supply pictures of the actual car supposedly for sale, which seemed very fishy. And the icing on the cake? Turns out the $100 was NON-REFUNDABLE, although it does NOT say that anywhere we could find. Run, do not walk away from Carvana.
Tip for consumers:
Do not trust a word the carvana people say.

None - the car, if it actually existed, was sold to someone else, and my husband could not get his deposit back.
Complete and utter joke of a company. No respect for a potential customer and their time. The only thing carvana cares about is wheres the money and how quickly can you hand it over. What a waste of time! Avoid this trap at all costs!
I purchased a 2013 LS 460 from Carvana. I took it to the dealer because the shocks felt funny. All the shocks were aftermarket and missing parts causing the vehicle to ride rough. Cost me alot of money. Poor service by this company. Anything to save money. SMDH!

I tried to purchase a car from Carvana. I started process on 8/11/2023 but it was never finalized. They sent me an email stating my time expired on 8/12/2023.
The policy is all money is refundable except for shipping fee if cancelled within 7days. I never finished the financing process so the transaction was never complete. They refuse to refund me the $590.
Waited 9 days, took half a day off work to be at home at delivery time only to be called an hour before to say that the car had been damaged in the initial transport and that I could take the damaged car and get it fixed at their repair center without telling me where they are, or if I'd get a rental, or they could fix it and who knows when I'd get it. I had to get my insurance back on my old car as it will expire at midnight, cancel their insurance for the new car. Called them 2x with no call back as promised. Imagine this happening with a real company that can spell SERVICE. As far as I'm concerned, they are a service fraud. Take your chances elsewhere.
Tip for consumers:
Carvana is Car-hell. Stay away

I cancelled the car.
Please do not deal with this company. I purchased a 2013 Toyota Rav4 with 63K on the clock from them. On paper everything looked great. Less than 2 months after receiving the car, it developed a rattling/scraping noise. All 4 wheels needed new brake pads and rotors, with one of the rear rotors cracked, at over $1,000. Zero support from Carvana in resolving the situation. Their so-called 150 point inspection is clearly meaningless. This should easily have been red flagged during inspection and left the car unsafe to drive. Their customer support was non-existent. Avoid at all costs.
Write my experience no stars I was lied to I got a That needed service. They refuse to print my Billis sale in Carfax On the day of my purchase they won't bring it I got hung up on I got lied to and told that my car is all wheel drive! People are really rude in the customer service department they lie to you when you chat with them they try to say that they can't pull up your account but the thing is they take forever to get back to you while you're chatting with them and they're just trying to buy time. I was on the phone with them for hours and hours it's not easy to get a car with them
I ordered a car from the company, because it was supposed to be easy. Ordering a car is easy, it's actually getting the car that's hard. I really need a car, but here I am, no car to get to work, and instead of getting a car today, it won't come until the end of the month, if even then. I am going to cancel my order and go with someone else, and if they try to get one penny out of me, I will sue them for false advertising, among other things. Not only would I not recommend this company to my worst enemy, I would go out of my way to stop them from making such an atrocious mistake.

Avoid Carvana at all costs.

Save your time, your money, and stress and go to a regular car dealership. At least you can get jerked around in person. First of all, their "prequalification" is ridiculous. They need a million and ten documents to confirm your income. If you do not have traditional direct deposit, the process is even worse. For a car vending machine company, they do not even allow calling your employer if they do not have a land line. I guess they forgot that in 2023, most people use VOIP or cell phones. It was a waste of time and now they advised 7-10 BUSINESS days to return my money, when they were able to withdraw from my bank account within one day. Do yourself a favor, and don't even waste your time!
We bought a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica and it had major hail damage and they know it. VIN: 2C4RC1BG3MR******* It is now back for sale on their website for sale an no disclosure on the hail damage. This is not ethical. We had to pay $590 to have a second car delivered not fair. It had way too many issues so it is going back also. Thought this would be a good experience. They are either not checking the vehicles or not fixing what they find. No way to talk to anyone in person.
Worst customer service I have ever seen in 53 years. Purchased a truck two weeks ago and so far they have canceled the delivery at the last minute three times. All I kept hearing from customer service was transportation delays but they could not give any further details. I missed out on working overtime and lost two half days vacation waiting on delivery. Do yourself a favor and go to the dealership, Carvana is not ready for prime time.
***update***
Truck showed up, rusted rockers and leaking pinion seal…for $25k I think not. Refused delivery and went to the dealership and found a nice new truck for less than their junk!
Delivery was canceled 1 hour before delivery and postponed 1 week. Then was cancelled the next week 1.5 hours prior, after it failed Maryland state inspection for exhaust issues. Not sure how this wasn't spotted on Carvana's 150 point inspection. There customer service is no help either. We ended up just going to a dealership and getting a car within a few hours.
The prices are way too high for every vehicle they sell. They don't give you bargains, and it is their policy and part of who they are to not sell you an older call or a model that may be less popular than others. From everything that I have researched about the company, it is not a nice company. Somebody has to pay for the fancy buildings, the sometimes free delivery, the cream of the crop auto picks from the cream of the crops used car dealerships, and their user friendly website, and that person is YOU! You have to be an idiot or a person with money that has to have the nicest used Toyota Rav4 available to buy from them. It's corporate capitalism gone very bad.
Just bought my car two weeks ago, engine light came on day nine, on a newer jeep wrangler. Took it in under its warranty, haven't had the car for two weeks now. Major repairs are needed, and the mechanic said they couldn't believe they sold me the car in the condition that it is in. I am planning on suing. I've had to pay out of pocket for Ubers and bus rides, which takes me three transfers to get to work. When I called to ask about a deferment on the first payment, since I haven't even been able to drive it, they simply told me "no". And then, if I didn't pay, they would come and take the vehicle. Intake manifold gasket, plenum gasket, and oil pressure switch need repaired. What's worse, is that the warranty department haggles with the mechanics, trying to get them to buy the cheapest parts that would wear out within a year or so. Just found out they are also going bankrupt. I understand why now. Horrible experience!
I worked for about 10 days trying to meet all tasks required to complete my purchase. They asked for the same info over and over and over and over again. Never completely communicated what they needed. I jumped through hoops yet they stil required sums stuff ignoring the big important stuff. Showed no common sense, couldn't work outside their provided script. Do not make customer first decisions only Carvana first decisions. Needed to deal with a new "advocate" each time with each one giving a different story and unable to make any decisions. Stupid process and not something that should be allowed. Stay away
Tip for consumers:
