Carvana is an amazing concept in buying cars! No dealing with bull$#*!,, no pesky annoying sales people. It's real honest. You chose what you want and it dispenses it like a candy after depositing a coin! Can't wait to get my Mercedes and Range Rover delivered soon! I even bought a nice chunk of stock in it so you know it's good!
Carvana is a joke. We have purchased 7 vehicles from Carvana. We found a different vehicle before any transportation or anything was done to the corvette ordered. We changed to a Land Rover. Delivery on both of these vehicles was weeks away. They refused to refund the shipping fee because it was not within 24 hours. It was 48. The customer service team was rude and provided little assistance. The manager sent me a response and immediately disconnected himself when I asked for reconsideration. I have a law degree and will be seeking remedies so others are not taken advantage of by this company. They will be headed down the same path as Vroom with thesr Business practice. I implore you do not give this company your money. They don't care about their customers only stealing your money.
Long on line process trying to buy was rendered useless at the very end because the advertised date of delivery was wrong. They switched it to 3 days later. Then we offered to pick it up, but they wouldn't permit our son to be the one doing the pick up. I'm just saying, prepare to be frustrated.
Carvana did not start my car registration until AFTER the first car payment was scheduled a few weeks later. THEN there was only a week until the temporary tag expired! Our state does not allow additional temporary tags so now they want me to drive on expired tags!
I'd be surprised if anybody ever took their offers. I can sell my pickup between 10-13K in the market right now. Out of curiosity I went through the offer deal through carvana. They offered $400. That's right. Taking advantage of people who need money is the only thing Carvana would do. They should be reported as a place that takes advantage of people and are just out to put people further in the hole. When looking at what cars they offer the prices are also grossly inflated. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE BUSINESS.

I just took 1 look at Carvana. I typed in my current vehicle which is old it's a 2007 GMC Acadia. It is maxed out with luxury items, leather dvd and the rest. Clean in and out running and no accidents. Car ana offer $300. You get $300 when you junk your car. Get real and lost my $20,000. I was by no means looking to get rich off the Acadia but damn.
Tip for consumers:
Pay close attention to the dollar figures.

I asked for a quote from Carvana to buy my car. I got a response right away, and it was very competitive with the others Vroom, Carmax, KBB, CashforyourCar. I provided drivers license, mileage, & title pics - and they came on time. Inspected the car - were knowledgable and friendly, and I received the bill of sale, confirmations and money in the bank was the next day. I did not even need a test drive, as they need to drive the car onto the carrier - TJ was excellent, and they made the decision - no haggling. Perfect experience. I would not use anyone else when I go to sell or buy.

I have used Carvana twice and both times I have experienced exceptional service. The first time my wife needed to sell her car. It was seamless. They gave a quote on the sale price based on our honest review of our car and when they came to pick it up approved the sale and within a day our money was in the bank. About six months later, this past March we decided to buy another car. We picked a nice looking C300, the website showed a few blemishes, however when the car arrived it was better than it looked in the website. The transaction was again seem less and less than a month later I already have my tag and registration. I do still have a couple items that I need looked at and will attempt to use the warranty company associated with Carvana. I will follow up with a review of how well that process goes. I can only pray it goes as well as the purchase did
I was told the car was mine and a cashier check was waiting for the car to be shipped to my house. Later in the week Carvana said my car was sold to someone else, not their fault. During the week, the price of the car went up. I guess someone paid more money.
So. Be sure to literally get on the ground and check underneath a car if you are picking up a car. I did not and regret it. Someone literally taped our bumper on and of course the tape did not start to melt off for several days. You have seven days to let them know about this! Be sure to check and pull everything and get on the ground. We did not and now have a hanging bumper on a 2022 Infiniti that cost over $44,000!
Yep, I called carvana and this is considered "cosmetic" so it is not covered after the 7 day return policy. Note - I wasn't looking to return it just get off the melting tape and have them properly fix it. I don't know if the previous owner did it or carvana. If not carvana then they definitely did not do a good job of inspecting the vehicle.
On top of that several features they listed as coming with the vehicle - did not come with it. I could deal with those and upgrade later - but that's still not okay.

Live customer service is usually pretty good on the phone. The chat not option and the normal chat options were not helpful

I purchased a car from Carvana with a delivery date of Thursday 5/26. They pushed the date back to Monday 5/30. I just received a notification that they are pushing the date back again to 6/7. Almost 2 weeks after the original date given. I've asked for a loaner car or a reimbursement for a rental car and they refuse to do anything for me. This is the worst car buying experience I've had and I want to tell everyone never to buy from Carvana. I'm going to have to borrow someone's car for at least another week. Who knows if they will push that date back again.
I needed a bigger car for my family and I thought why not? I now know why not and I haven't even recieved the car yet. They need everything that you scan in to be done a certain way and you may have to upload it multiple times. The process took longer to begin with because they wanted more money anyway. I had one lady call me at work and I told her that I was busy and I didn't have much time and was oh so short with me. They ended up giving me the car for what was agreed upon two days later. I am frustrated with the high cost of this car and then the customer service was great despite a few bad seeds. Then I have everything with me on the day of delivery, but no one can deliver it to me later and I couldnt reschedule it sooner. I am a mom of three and I need the space and now with everything I'm doubting the purchase.
Tip for consumers:
Test drive the car of course so you have an idea of what you're gonna get. Do your research.
I purchased a 2015 Mercedes E350 with ******* miles on May 6th. Picked the car up at Frisco location at 3.40. Then driving home the transmission completely went out, now I have had the car just about an hour. I called Carvana and they said that's why they have 7 day return policy. I said I will go elsewhere and that I would be back in 45 minutes to get my trade in. The advocate said I could not have my trade back. Now bear in mind they have 100 point inspection, what a joke. The advocate said sorry we can't catch them all. So I picked another car only to find out the pictures were incorrect. So I take the advocate out to show him all 4 rims damaged. The headliner on in side had hair grease all over it. The bumper was damaged, none of this under imperfections on website. The advocate answer you don't have to take it. Just pick another car. It is a real crap shoot on if you get a good vehicle or not. Always take to dealer for inspection.
I bought 2012 Audi Q5 with 90,000 miles for $21,000 and after just 9 months the timing chain broke and destroyed the engine. I just found out there was a class action lawsuit for the timing belt, but was told the warranty just expired. Carvana would not try and help me get another vehicle and just said to bad. When you buy a vehicle for $21,000 you think it's top condition. I rely on my vehicle to get to work. How do they think I can make payments and if I can't get to work. I can't even buy another vehicle because I still owe $18,000 on it. Carvana should be ashamed.
I've never *ever* had such a bad experience with a company. I ordered a truck on 1/4/22 and a scheduled delivery date of 1/13. Since then every time the delivery date neared I'd get a glib message from Carvana telling me that my delivery is being delayed. It is now 2 months later and I've been cheerfully notified that the truck is being delayed for the 6th time! They won't allow me to fly out and pick up the truck myself so I've been stuck. They've had my $38K since January (wouldn't schedule delivery until they had my money in hand) and I am praying that it won't be a nightmare to get my money back. I am convinced that Carvana has no idea what they're doing. I don't know how they manage to stay in business.
They make buying easy, dont be fooled. They sell the title to Bridgecrest and warranty company and wash their hands of you at that point. Paid my vehicle off, Bridgecrest canceled my online account and after over a week and half they still havent mailed my title. Called Carvana they said there isnt anything they can do. How would you like to be waiting this long for a title?

After purchasing dozens of new and used vehicles in my life Carvana is the worst online or brick and morter retailer I've ever seen. Last minute canceled delivery, misrepresentation of transaction terms, improper filing of state license information the list goes on. They had my 42,000 dollars so not much I can do except try to warn others this us a pathetic company with nonexistent customer service. STAY AWAY!

I can't say enough about Carvana. I received the price I was looking for. They picked it up on time and the paper work was easy. The driver was kind and courteous. They picked it up on Saturday and the payment was direct deposited on Monday morning.
I have a personalized tag that I wanted transferred. Easy process in Tennessee. Tag Transfer was discussed every step of the process, including upload of documents, registration, picture of actual tag, multiple phone calls and emails where it was discussed and instead new tag was assigned. Tokk over two hours at DMV to get resolved and they would do nothing about it!
When I was within my seven day moneyback guarantee, Carvana promised to fix my brakes, after the seven day money back guarantee they declined fixing the brakes, also the car was already almost $8000 over priced, missing parts and not working key fob.

So i bought a range rover and not even two months later i had to trade it in because the trans was going out. Had so many issues with it and SilverRock wouldn't even approve the work. Then I give them another try got an Acura and my battery died the same day and found a dead frog! Like what DEAD FROG! I just don't know anymore and cant trust this place to buy a car anymore! I will I could give them no stars
I was set to have my car delivered. Paid for insurance for the vehicle, submitted and was approved for financing. Due to me being out of state during the scheduled delivery, I had to reschedule for the following week. They made me reschedule by phone.
Checked on the app to reconfirm the delivery time a few days later and turns out that the car was in the process of being sold to another person.
This is a $#*!show of a business.
Don't waste your time or money!
We made an appointment with Carvana to sell them our vehicle and meet us at a place between 8 AM until 11 AM. We waited until 12pm. They never showed up. They never called us. These people are a joke!
Carvana partnered with Bridgecrest, loan servicer who will take your money AND the car & you'll lose your equity, everything. They can do this without even contacting you AND not answer why. Carvana has little concern, they sold the car, period they're done. I got my car back which cost me another $1,0000 about 45 days after giving $6000 down payment. Missed the 1st payment, immediately scheduled 2 payments, received a THANK YOU email which is an acceptance of the issue, 2 days later a guy is in my driveway repossessing the truck! No warning, no compassion. The "reinstatement team" added unnecessary fees to boost their recovery that paid. Had ANYONE at any time told me the truck was going to be repoed don't you think I would've paid them cash if I had enough to pay another $1k? Shameful.
Tip for consumers:
They use a loan servicer called Bridgecrest that’s as crooked as it gets. Try Carmax instead. We’ve had really good results. You need to source your own funding but the peace of mind is priceless. I have to deal with a company stalking my car because there’s a vehicle shortage. Don’t take the risk.

I bought 2 cars from carvana was on my way to 3rd. 1st car no issue purchase went smooth. 2nd had a few issues that was a fluke. This last one had all ducks in a row provided all docs requested received email notification that was all set to pick up. The night before get phone call saying they need to verify my bank because plaid indicated my name is not on my checking account, I called my bank they said it's issue with plaid and carvana. I called them back got some snotty rep who could care less and said it's my problem to resolve they won't take personal check needs bank check. Within. 30 mins got email indicating since I failed to verify in their time frame car was released. Then got another email informing me they need address verified, provided docs but now need date change.complete run around canceled order. Will buy someplace else
Just bought a 2017 Hyundai Sonata in great shape except found out it was not what I really wanted. Paid about $9500 cash for it.So decided I'd see what Carvana had available and maybe trade up or sell the Sonato outright. I saw numerous other Sonatas listed by Carvana same year or older for sale for as much as $14,000.(close to same mileage too) So I entered my VIN to see what they would pay me...they were "excited" to offer me $4,400 as an outright buy.but get this: a whopping $365 MORE if I traded it in! We are talking a $10K spread! That's nearly a 10K a profit and doesn't even include how much they ripped off the other seller! Prepare to get ripped off if you are DESPERATE to sell!
Purchased a 2013 mini cooper thats already in the shop. Thought to try them out for a 2nd vehicle, and it was a total POS. They tried to sell me 1 piece of junk while I have a piece of junk from them already in the driveway. Scam company.
Carvana is a better way to buy a car. Skip the dealership and buy online. Save $1,430 on average per purchase. Free delivery. 7-day money back guarantee.
