I made a order on roblox.cashstar.com via paypal. I never got an email confirming that thay receiced the order but the money was taken from my account. Eventually i called them thay said thay did not have access to the paypal account and could not check the paypal transaction id. Thay should fix their system it sucks.
Ordered cards Dec 8th, received email Dec 14 stating the cards were on there way, BUT we do not provide you with tracking information. WHAT in today's modern tech, you can't provide tracking? I ordered $160 in gift cards, you couldn't provide better shipping options, a stamp and an envelope. Needless to say, items were not received until after Christmas, but by then I canceled by order and asked for a full refund. I have a feeling if had I not paid through paypal, I would still be fighting for my refund. My suggestion to this company, provide better customer service, (live people, not recorded messages) provide tracking information and I don't know use a priority mail envelope for large orders,
Do not purchase a gift card by cash star. I purchased $200 gift card. It never arrived. I called them to confirm if I could cancel the gift card a receive a refund. They said I could and I received a confirmation email that it was canceled. It's been over 15 days and they still didn't refund the money. The bank said there is no pending return from them! I keep calling them and they don't answer. I keep emailing them and they won't respond.
I had a problem using a card & someone named Julius was super, helped so much with the problem. The friendliest person I have talked to. He was the 3rd out of 3. If I ever have a problem with a card I definitely want a person like him.

I bought a 100$ HomeDepot gift card I thought through HD for my friend who bought a new home. I didn't realize I was buying through a 3rd party vendor. 2 weeks later and no gift card. I emailed Cashstar who said it could take 3 weeks to get there. I didn't realize it was being delivered by Pony Express. This isn't how ethical businesses conduct themselves. Please don't get scammed by CashStar!
Make sure you are not dealing with CashStar when you buy from a retailer. Many companies contract with them to process their gift cards. I didn't realize when I bought a Joann's gift card that they were the processor. The gift card showed up with a $0 balance and won't help me online because they say the balance is $0. Duh, Joann's isn't answering their phones and been a week waiting on their customer service. Trying to dispute with my credit card, but that is taking forever too. NO one is answering phones during covid.
Like many other consumers, I purchased a gift card through Roblox, which uses CashStar as a 3rd party vendor. I haven't received the gift card, and the customer support phone number in the email confirmation is bogu *******818). I purchased it through PayPal and I have launched a claim against the company.
Purchased Dunkin card with bonus. Never received bonus. After a week of trying to get in touch with someone, finally get someone to answer who tells me the offer was sold out 5 days before I got the advertisement to do it. What?! So then I tell him I don't want the gift card because that was the only reason I purchased it. He said he could refund me, but I already used the gift card. I printed it and it sait on my computer for a week because it was a xmas gift. Couldn't give me any other information. He told me to call Dunkin gift card line to see the transactions. I am currently on hold for 53 minutes now. When I called the Dunkin gift card line it told me the card # I have isn't even a valid number. AVOID at all costs!
Unfortunately I am one of those people who trusted an advertisement on a restuarant mobile app. $25 drafted from my bank account with the promotion of a free 6" sub. Turns out the egift card wasn't sent because the my email was invalid, even after confirmation that it would be sent within a couple of days. Called to inquire, it was reissued, but when I went use the reissued egift card it was deemed closed & invalid. Called cashstar for a refund, they said the return policy time period expired; even though the new reissued egift card never expires. Asked the representative why the card was closed, with no reason or response. Mentioned Better Business Bureau and was immediately transferred to someone else and so on a few more times. Until I got a busy signal. Kissed my money goodbye and logded a formal complaint on the BBB website. I hope this is helpful on saving someone else making the same mistake I made.
If I could rate this absolute GARBAGE of a company any lower I would. I decided to buy a 100 dollar Roblox e-gift card for a friend who lives in another country (Canada) from https://roblox.cashstar.com (with my dads permission) since it was his birthday and they sent me a email telling me that the order didn't go through despite them taking my dad's money and they also sent me another email saying it did was confirmed which is odd considering it didn't go through. My friend is now VERY disappointed and my dad is furious. Absolute scam of a website, DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
These people are a scam I went to buy hotels.com gift card from them using my PayPal account and they charge my account 25 bucks and then send an email saying thry had to cancel my order and never return the money at first I thought maybe it had something to do with using PayPal so I tried again to buy a gift card with my debit card and I swear five seconds after they charged my card i get a email saying they had to cancel my order its a whole scam if you're not going to send me the electronic gift card then why the hell you charge my card in the first place?!
I bought a Ulta egift Card and my credit card was charged and they never gave me the e-gift card. I called and talked to a supervisor and he wouldn't do anything for me and then hung up on me. This was a gifft for my daughter and what was suppose to be a good day ended up a bad day for her. I will never buy any gift card that Cash Star is apart of EVER!
Should Have read the reviews before I purchased. I bought a gift card for my dad from Best Buy thinking it was the original Best Buy site and which I found out later it was a third-party company. I only received the confirmation number but my dad never received the actual E gift card and was unable to use the confirmation number at Best Buy. I Still have not received the E gift card despite speaking with someone at cash star I was basically told to keep waiting for it to come
I purchased a home depot card for my dad for Christmas. I have not received anything no tracking number nothing. I called cash star they were no help. It's ok because I have a powerful attorney and I will be filing a complaint with BBB BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. You can't do this to people they need to be shut down. No more of this foolishness. You guys need to return my money today if not you will get a penalty for false advertisement.

This has to be the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with; I am not sure if IKEA is much better as it is their gift card this company is selling. Long story, but I purchased a $50 gift card last August; received confirmation and the amount was debited from my account. The person went to use the gift card and was told the confirmation was not valid. I have spent HOURS trying to get this resolved, yet CashStart tells me "THEY had a system issue and the transaction was a cancelled." Interesting, in that I have nothing from them indicating such and the charges are still on my debit card (yes, my mistake…). Everyone (including my bank) tells me that since it is over 120 days, there is nothing that can be done. Meanwhile, CashStar and/or Ikea has $50 and I have NOTHING! Unreal…I will never use this company again and sharing so that others are aware.
It's funny that they introduced themselves that they are bringing leading technology. Whereas, every transaction takes like 5-6 hours. That's not how automation work.
I ordered a $100 gift card for my mother. She received the gift card and it did not work. After 7+ phone calls and HOURS on the phone, this issue has not been resolved. Cash Star insisted they could not help and referred me to QVC. QVC insisted they could not help and referred me to Cash Star. That's it. No one helped.
I was however able to confirm that the gift card has $0 on it and there were no purchases made previously with the gift card. QVC issued a $0 gift card to my mother and I paid $100 for it.
This issue was 'escalated' to the finance department on Oct 27th. I have not heard back. No one at QVC will follow up with this.
This issue has been 'escalated' to a mystery department in Cash Star. The case number is CS*******.

If you are business looking to use these cards for your company, look elsewhere. The disorganization and lack of communication was unreal. I guess they don't need business!
Seems like a scam been waiting for 9 days for gift card and still have not received my it. Customer service at *******977, sucks! Incompetent people that won't help and never sent me a receipt for purchase. LAST TIME I ORDER FROM THESE IDIOTS!
