We knew something was up after we signed a contract for what salesman gave price for, then they never showed upon day supposed to start. I called few days later, their answer..." We decided we'd need more money before we will start." (Quote.)
Didn't have the the professional common sense to call us, left us hanging until I called. No apology.

The rest has been one issue after another, been out so many times in the 2 years, seems like every other month, bad leaks, roof leaks, ( video of leaking in areas) had to replace all the windows, so many photos of algae, mold, ALL OVER CEILING AND DOORS, pools of water, furniture ruined, lampshades ruined, full of mold, electronics mold and algae.
If they come out, seem irritated, send young boys, they smoke, one constantly made fun of my neighbors patio, kept saying, " You have bragging rights ma'am, you have bragging rights ma'am." The boys they send out have no idea what they're doing.
We actually had one that said "he refused to wear a mask that he could not breathe with a mask on," another one refused to put footies over his work boots while inside. My husband just had major heart surgery and was in intensive care for 7 days and we do this to protect my husband, yet, Champion refuses to take care of their clients by being careful.
They have no common sense, no business ethics, and they truly do not care for clients. It's all about the almighty dollar, and doing the things the cheapest way possible, yet making the biggest profit.

Our neighbors have noticed how many times Champion has had to be out. Two of them actually went with a local company and they've not had a problem one. It's because their work sells, not all the TV, advertising, and mailers they send out, which cost a pretty penny each year for Champion which in reality, you pay for!

At our previous home, we had a local builder build our sunroom, we went 13 years with not a problem one, they never had to come out once, and when we moved it was still in perfect condition. The sunroom is actually what sold our home for us.

The sunroom we have now will gives us a lot of trouble. We have heating and air conditioning out there, a brand new unit, but heating and air does not fix all of the leaks and poor construction. Our neighbor believes they should tear it down and start over but Champion won't do that. We live in a 99 townhome community and trust me, everyone know about Champions issues.

A friend of mine, when talking, after I told her Champion was coming out the following week, she expressed great horror. She suggested I go with someone else and told me she had Champion. Did her sun room 4 years prior, and had to tear it down and have local builder build new one, a perfect one. She can afford it... owns a company that does business in horse farms. She warned me, "I'd be sorry." She was so right. I can't afford to tear mine down and rebuild, spent over $22,000.
They may know how to put a window in, but they definitely do not know how to build a sunrooms.
I would definitely go with a local builder instead of Champion, someone who has a great reputation and their work sells, their quality of work. Not because they mailed you a mailer and you decided to give them a try.

Lesson learned! It's still not fixed right. Constant patch jobs. It leaks anytime heavy rains. We couldn't go out if town, fear if it rained, coming home to a mess! The window tracts now get water do full of rain, it spills onto floor, and yes, after they " fixed" them.
We can't even go on trips! If it rains, standing water on floor... have to roll up rug, and mop up with towels.

On the website the owner of Champion, Todd $#*!son, has multiple emails and multiple phone numbers on line, yet none of them work. Not one. Most likely taken down, because Champion does such a poor job. All closed off so he's not reached. I have also written him letters via snail mail. Has someone else call. Still waiting on an answer.
They're in no hurry when it comes to customer satisfaction.
Yet, on the website he says, " we are committed to you,", then says, "backed by lifetime warranty," "excellent customer care", "ready and willing to serve our customers", "committed to our customers", and so on.

It's nothing but pure advertising and they lure you in. Please be careful. Go with a local builder, not national. Someone you know and trust, and someone if you call them, they will actually answer the phone. And you're not sent to a national call center where you are on hold for 20 to 25 minutes EACH time. I know for a fact, as the time shows up on my cell phone on hold.
Lesson learned the hard way, and trust me, Champion only after the sales. It's all in "marketing strategy."
I've tried to call their number, not local at all. No customer service. Just one national call center, even if there is a store down the street. Treated as a number... For 20 plus minutes, all you hear is the same old advertisement over and over... and over while on hold. Then it hangs up on you, saying " were now closed... this is at 1:58 in afternoon!
Go local!

My husband and I are both almost 70 years old and they have done nothing but take advantage of the elderly and made fun of us. Yes, the boys talk down to us. Body language, back talk and lack of respect.

One of the guys, when I said I need to really call the main owner of Champion, all he said was, " I don't take kindly to be in threatened." And that is a direct quote. All I was trying to say was I needed to get to someone higher up to get things fixed. Here I am at 70 years of age, and he tells me "he doesn't take kindly to being threatened" I was not threatening him at all. Every young man they have sent out has been nothing but rude. Been known to smoke out here on the job, some refused to wear masks, some refuse to put footies over their feet when walking inside, and then I have a mess to clean up once they are gone.
My husband had major heart surgery, few months ago, and he could not even enjoy or sit out in the sunroom that he work so hard to pay for because of the mold and algae. I think the black spots all over the doors in ceiling are mold, but the guys think it's algae growing everywhere. I'm sure Mr. Todd $#*!son is laughing all the way to the bank. Absolutely no respect for their customers let alone for the elderly. The young boys they hire have had no training, in-between jobs I'm sure. They would not treat their own parents or grandparents the way that we have been. No kindness.

We're still waiting to get sunroom that we paid for, over $22,000 worth. One that we can enjoy, and one we can feel safe in.
I know Todd $#*!son, the owner of Champion, would NEVER have the room they built here as his own. What they say on the website, is definitely not true.
The one picture below is the most recent from a few days ago, and I was on the THIRD towel when I decided to take a picture. All other pictures of the mold all over the ceiling, lampshades, on furniture, on electronics, on the doors, everything's posted out on Google.
I'm still waiting for Champion to clean the mold off ceiling, the one guy said, " I don't clean up for anyone." Then he said "it is customers job," but I did not cause the problem, they did... and I should not have to be constantly cleaning up after Champion's mistakes. Sometimes I feel that they're just idiots, and it is not true, that "they take care of their customers."
The issues are caused by poor workmanship, not by me. I did not build it. I cannot climb a ladder because I've had two leg surgeries, and my husband most definitely cannot climb a ladder. So we are left with this mold and algae, cannot enjoy our sunroom, a total waste of money. We are just sick, being taken advantage of. I didn't cause the poor workmanship, the leaks, bad window installation, yet they expect me to clean up after their faulty work... weekly.
Only thing they should do is refund us, so a decent room can be built. With husband's heart issues, they actually stole from him, what he worked hard to have. They truly don't care.
