I start a petition June 15,2021 and paid the highest amount of donation asked by change.org with the promise to get over 5000 signatures and help to promote my petition on their website! They took the money, some one contacted me by text message that he's going to help me hoe promote my petition! First of all I had no access to my petition in my account to edit it according the change. Org coach and there is no way to get hold on help and support, every time I tried to promote my petition on face book messenger, the only option recipient would get was two options either to chip in money or share, I was getting reply that we don't get the option to sign your period, the signing red box for petition would stay for very short time then would change to chip in or share I had such a frustrating experience with change.org, bottom line I must say; CEO's of change.org make money of other people misery he doesn't care about changes, change.org is corporate for profit stop supporting them by signing,,,

I dont trust change.org. I believe they intentionally remove campaigns from circulation to prompt the person to pay. They will put the campaign front and center for a day or two and yank it back to coerce more payment. That's wrong. They artificially deflate the views by keeping the campaign from circulation.

I launched a campaign and I paid to have it initially circulated. Support came in quickly. When I got to 200 likes then suddenly there was a hard stop. It's been several months now and I'm still sitting at the same number of supporters. Throughout that period change.org kept requesting I send them money. I would not. Not only do they request money from the person who created the campaign, supporters of the campaign are constantly being asked for money. The requests pop up endlessly and appear to be a way the person can support the campaign but the money really goes to change.org. You have to read the small print.

That's unethical, dishonest and deceitful.

Just create a campaign through a blog or social media and pay seo people to support it.

We started a petition regarding our problem of my husband being refused a residence card under my EU rights in France. It started well and we spent hours promoting it on social media. We managed to obtain 100 signs in 4 days at one point and then it went stagnant, lucky to get half a dozen signatures in a week. It was then that we realised that lots of people who said they had signed (and donated) did not appear on the downloaded names list. They were not receiving the verification email to register their signatures. Many complaine emails to Change and they still have done nothing. All they keep saying is to update to let people know to tell people who think they signed to contact them. How do we contact strangers? They are idiots and liars as our petition has not been promoted anywhere by them.
I would never advise people to use Change.org. We believe our petition is restricted because we are in a battle with the French authorities

I created a petition for freedom of humanity because all these draconian measures are a way to control people and to reshape the world into tyranny. The petition was holding those people responsible for lying and killing people but it was removed silently.
Because you are not allowed to go against Silicon Valley. Later I found out they are huge financially connected to Bill Gates. The one next to Anthony Fauci the petition was against. Censorship was used to silence me so it's absolutely not an independent site. Change.org is from Google.

Later I saw more articles saying some petitions regarding social activism or against covid rules where censored and removed silently. Better not use the platform. It's just as bad as YouTube when it comes to censorship.

The site is an efficient and effective platform for its stated purpose. But, there are two major problems with the site.

First, there is no provision to voice dissent regarding a petition. So, when the petition is presented to a decision-maker, the decision-maker only sees the people in agreement. Disagreements are not presented. For example, what if 1,000 people support a petition, but 100,000 would not support the same petition? How would the 100,000 people be represented here?

Second, while I saw a large number of left-leaning petitions, I don't recall seeing any petitions supporting conservative values and issues. I'm questioning whether conservatives are simply not using this venue, or if Change.org is not presenting petitions supporting conservative values and issues.

Given these two apparent problems, I am no longer participating in Change.org and have canceled my monthly financial support.

Such Hateful Lies
April 27, 2021

The site must be owned by a puppet, as in someone that can not think nor see anything for themselves. The twist and turns in your lies aren't even the real stories! You should be ashamed and shut down immediately in the name of The People.

I responded to an environmental petition on change.org, and made what I thought was a "one time" contribution to the specific petition's organization. But when I reviewed my bank statement, it said "recurring contribution" to change.org. With no mention of the specific petition I wanted to support. I thought I would be able to go to their website and cancel the "recurring contribution" payment designation, as can be done on other public interest websites. But their help page was useless. It claims that its "Settings" utility opens a drop-down menu containing an option called "Manage Contributions" where, ostensibly, you might cancel the specific "recurring" contribution. But in fact the drop down menu does not show any such option (fraud?), and after spending a good 90 minutes combing the site for help, I could find nothing there to further help me do what I needed to do. (By comparison, the ActBlue payment processing website makes the problem described above easy to resolve). And so far I can find no telephone contact number for change.org, which gives them an "F" grade for transparency. So I completely cancelled my account with them, hoping that I will not see another charge to my bank account next month from them. Beware of change.org!

Do not I repeat do NOT spend any kind of money on here they'll just charge you after you pay your money once. This place needs to be taken down for charging when the people aren't even aware they're being charged!

It's unfortunate I have made a few contributions to this site. However after going over my statements I noticed a $26 recurring payment to which I never intentionally agreed on. I'm usually pretty keen on detail so they must hide it well. No judgement if you choose to donate through this site. Just be aware the membership verbiage. I myself will no longer be using change.org services.

I recently (jokingly) made a petition about a friend of mine, and a worker named max contacted me and gave some advice because it wasn't a clear joke petition, And I said sorry mine is a joke petition, he said no need to apologize and went on as usual, I said oh your not a bot? And he was very friendly and I cracked a joke, and he went with it to make the awkwardness of a stranger texting you go away, I loved max, he was wonderful! Will use the site again and hope me and max are in contact someday again to check on how he's been.

I agreed to a single 10 $ payment for a cause and a double confirmation PayPal page added a monthly donation of 10$ without any warning or any request from their website. Change.org is a total scam! Avoid them by any mean.

There are so many Religious and cultural problems also within the society. Many activities are going on within the society which insults and misinterprets a religious and Cultural doctrines in the name of Secularism and Atheism.
But the problem is that the Voice of people who advocates the religion and culture are not recognized by many institutions and NGOs. The Change.org too fail in the given context. There is no separate opinion for Religious and cultural topics within the topics will signing the petition. This very essential topic is neglected by Change.org

Made a one time contribution to a fundraiser and then my card was charged $3 every month automatically. Had to cancel my debt card. Now change.org has the balls to email me and ask for a new card number.
