What a waste. Just a a bunch of liberal garbage. I did not join but looked on their website and saw nothing but president bashing liberal views. Not interested in closed minded thinking or voting. God bless America! Oh and this will make them made. I support the NRA and our right to bear arms.
Why don't they give us "minus" stars for our reviews?
When I started getting petitions to sign that seemed equivocal, I got a little pickier about what I signed from CREDO. One I got today about L'Oreal convinced me that CREDO is not a social action site at all--they are a paid service for political and sales organizations.
I absolutely agree with the rater above--CREDO is a bunch of pandering profiteers, who will take attention away from the larger issues in order to sell you on a lie with their blathering about minutiae.
If you start signing the $#*! they send you, you will eventually embarrass yourself, as I have.
Where was Heidi Hess and her liberal agenda in 2014 when the Obama administration was separating immigrant families and caging children? I didn't see them protesting then, go figure. Be
NOTICE: when you sign up to "sign a petition", you are accepting that they will be spamming you, and DO NOT GIVE YOU A CHANCE TO "OPT OUT"... or if they do, I was not able to find the button when getting ready to sign.
Last time I did so, it took me "forever" of diligently opting out of "all those spam lists", as it twkes a day or so to get removed, but in that time "they" have sold your email address to many more spammers.
Have you all lost your minds. Can't you see what people are saying or are you snowed by the media? Retract your call for Franken's resignation now or the people will expose your motives.
Clueless wastes of existence with no concept of reality. Probably jobless and living on the government dime
CREDO Action is one of the many online petition sites that you'll see passed around facebook and e-mail. I signed at least one petition through them, and they began sending me regular e-mails, as most online petition sites do. (I'm also on the change.org and avaaz.org mailing lists.)
I do not like CREDO. For one, they are extremely liberally biased (and that's saying something for me, as a social liberal). I was disturbed they were collecting money to "fight against the tea party." There are so many social injustices in the world, why should they raise money to quell someone's freedom of speech?
For two, they use un-scientific rhetoric. I received several campaigns against "pink slime" from them. While it's true the meat product they're referring to is low quality and fatty, slinging slurs like "pink slime" in the face of scientific testing is in itself disgusting and disgraceful. A bad product will be obviously bad, without giving it ridiculous labels. I have seen the way the "toilet to tap" branding was used to destroy a perfectly valid scientific treatment of water. It is a distasteful way to run a campaign.
Finally, what made me jump onto site jabber and write this review, was when I received junk mail from CREDOmobile.com. It is obvious from the timing and the obvious CREDO association that they got my address when I signed the petition. I have am appalled that my address, given in confidence to validate my petition signature, is being used to sell me a product (mobile cell phone service). CREDO claims to be a political site, but now I see they're just a profit driven company. I wouldn't give them a penny of my money, and I warn everyone else from doing the same.
CREDO Action is a social change network of 5 million activists organizing and mobilizing for progressive change.
