I really like this store specifically for crop tops/tops, dresses, underwear, sandals, and jewelry. Been using this site for the last few years and never had any issues except the occasional out of stock product which has always been refunded. They always seem to be having different sales/promotions going on. I've spent anywhere between 6$ (with free shipping) and 100$ on a single order with no problems at all. Nice quality and cute styles! :D
I bought a pair of pants that didn't fit and was told by the sales associate who made my purchase that they didn't do returns just exchanges and store credit. But these pants are poorly manufactured with the lining in the waist and hip leg area and placement of buttons on the pants. One legs of the pants has more room than the other due to the poor sewing quality. I should have read the store reviews before making a purchase. I'll be donating these pants. Glad they were only $14.
I used to buy my jeans there, so I was given a $50 gift card for christmas. They only sell skinny jeans now, so I ended up ordering other items online, including a pair of boots. The boots I ordered ended up being canceled after I already paid for them. I would normally be very forgiving, however they only reimbursed by gift card and not the additional money I paid through paypal. So, I was no longer getting the boots I wanted and I was out $10. I called and emailed customer service several times about the refund and each time they seemed to understand my situation but they never had the ability to authorize the refund nor was a manager ever present. All very convenient so nothing ever happened with the refund. However, I did order some things from the website and I was looking forward to those items arriving. When my order did arrive it was in two separate packages, which I didn't think much of at the time. Oddly, UPS wanted me to pay at the door for shipping ( around $9). I have never had to do this before and I know that my order qualified for free shipping but I rummaged around my house trying to find cash and eventually borrowed money from my boyfriend to pay the UPS guy standing in my doorway. It turns out that Charlotte Russe sent duplicates of all of the items I ordered and the postage they printed off was also a duplicate. I contacted Charlotte Russe for a refund for shipping and they told me to take it up with UPS. This is way too many mistakes for one online order. However, I returned the duplicates items to the store and got store credit. I shouldn't have been surprised at this point when they didn't give me a cash refund at the store despite all of the clothes having the original tag and providing the package slip as my receipt. The only good thing is that store credit was worth more than the $20 they owed me but I certainly wasn't spending that store credit online.
Had to wait 2 hours because they couldn't figure out how to give me a refund and had horrible sevice
I really love this store because I've gotten some of my favorite pieces of clothing from this store, you do have to fish through the weird crap to get to the good stuff but it's worth it! My biggest problem that I recently experienced was when I was charged full price for an item that was apparently on sale. I was shopping on their site one morning before work, I finished picking out what I wanted and was about to check out when I saw that the plaid shirts were buy one at full price and get the other shirt for $5, I thought "sweet!" So I added two shirts but in the order summery the second shirt didn't come up as $5 so I thought maybe I chose a shirt that wasn't part of the sale so I found a different one I liked and this one worked out (it showed it was only $5) so I went ahead and ordered it, then went on with my day. Later when I opened the order confirmation email I saw that I was charged way more than what I originally saw when I clicked that Place my order button so I looked through what I bought and I was charged full price for the shirt that was supposed to be $5. I contacted customer service telling them this store (specifically mentioning that the sale was still on the website when I purchased my clothes) and they basically said that their sales change daily and it probably changed before my order went through (which is bull$#*!, and even if that's true if your website is screaming $5, I should only have to pay $5!) I explained again and they offered free shipping. "Here's $6 even though we owe you like $25"
Even though their online customer service sucks I've had nothing but great experiences with their retail employees.
First time shopper@ CR online and especially disappointed. I ordered three dresses. Two of the dresses are way too small even though I measured myself and went by their size chart. I mean they are so small that you can't even call them plus size. I can't even get them on. The third dress although the same size as the other two, fit perfectly. However, there is a flaw on it. A line running down the back that is obviously a flaw. So out of the three dresses none of them are wearable. Also, the fabric is of very poor quality. I notice that CR sells cheap clothes from China. I looked at other sites who sell clothes from China and the items are identical. CR just puts their own label on them. Oh AND, I had my eye on a certain dress and looked at the website (several times) while the dress was on sale. They only had 1x and 2x available; the 3x and 4x sizes were not even listed, it's as if the dress only came in the two sizes. I wanted to order it but in light of my first purchase, I hesitated. THEN, I went to look again and the sale was over, BUT guess what, once the sale was over they listed 3x and 4x as available sizes. I think CR withholds the most popular sizes during the sale and re-introduces them once the sale is over. Of course they could say anything... like the shipment didn't arrive or whatever. WE would never know the truth. In any case, I do not like this company. They use sales tactics that are not customer friendly and they provide inferior products that they pass off as quality stuff. I should have known that this is not a site to purchase from as they do not have customer reviews on their own website. They obviously don't want to hear from the customer and they do not wish others to hear from the customer either. All around very very bad!
I placed an order on the Charlotte Russe website on 7/14/17 for a dress and shoes for my brother's wedding. The next day, the place that the package was to be delievered to (my place of employment) recieved a call from a gentleman stated that he was from Charlotte Russe and needed to confirm that I worked there before shipping my package. My boss, coworkers and myself found this very odd because packages are delievered there on a daily basis and no other company has ever called to confirm someone workes there before delievering the package. I contacted Charlotte Russe's customer service the same day the call was recieved through email and Facebook asking why someone from their company called the phone number associated with the address that I requested my package be delievered to to confirm that I work there before they are able to ship my package. I provided the company with my personal phone number, not the phone number of the location the package is being shipped to so I don't understand why the employee called that number. I also don't understand why they needed to confirm that I worked there before shipping my package. When I contacted customer service about this, the representative basically blew my claim off as if I am lying. I requested a cancellation 3 TIMES but they still sent part of my order. The dress, which was the item that I really needed, was cancelled after contacting customer service the first time because it was "out of stock". I sent the shoes back but I will be charged a $6.99 shipping fee even though I requested a cancellation 3 times because the order was even processed and shipped!
I did my order in 12/1 and my order still processing, I did call to customer service to cancel my order, BUT they said that they can't do it.
I'm a fashionista and the style at Charlotte Russe is AMAZING! Love Love LOVE it. Highly recommend shopping here.
Usually I give the greatest reviews to every place, but I'm getting kind of sick of bad service. Even if whatever I got wasn't the best and it's my own fault, I was really disappointed because I love Charlotte Russe. But this was the first time I ever even ordered something online, and I chose the wrong place apparently. Don't get me wrong, I give them two stars because at least they put the correct attire in it. But they were lacking in everything else. The online exclusive lime-green dress was neon yellow... Did you put that to make it more attractive to people? I'm not sure but it wasn't even about that, they made it seem so good when it feels like you're putting on a slip and doesn't fit right at all and I ordered the right size ( a small). It was way too short and I don't even mind the shortness if it was at least thicker material and you couldn't see straight through it either. Plus I ordered another romper and it came with the tag off and slightly torn. If I needed to return it... how the heck am I going to?!?!?!?!?!? IT SAYS THE TAG NEEDS TO BE ON TO RETURN :| I'm lucky I tried this on at the store and that's the only one I loved out of the three I got. Just irritates me that it was even off, and like why was it!?!?! Lastly I got that lace bralette with the cool lined backing on clearance and need to remember to look at what you can and can't return because it fit perfectly... OTHER THAN THE FACT THE STRAP WAS BROKEN! So... I'm staying calm even though I hated everything accept that perfect dress I got that I wouldn't have been able to return if I didn't love it because the tag was off. Never the less I'll probably continue to shop there. Just go in the store guys. It's not worth the trouble ordering online. No offense, but I've had lower end stores do better.
Estoy completanente enojada
