I really like this store specifically for crop tops/tops, dresses, underwear, sandals, and jewelry. Been using this site for the last few years and never had any issues except the occasional out of stock product which has always been refunded. They always seem to be having different sales/promotions going on. I've spent anywhere between 6$ (with free shipping) and 100$ on a single order with no problems at all. Nice quality and cute styles! :D

“Poorly manufactured clothes”

I bought a pair of pants that didn't fit and was told by the sales associate who made my purchase that they didn't do returns just exchanges and store credit. But these pants are poorly manufactured with the lining in the waist and hip leg area and placement of buttons on the pants. One legs of the pants has more room than the other due to the poor sewing quality. I should have read the store reviews before making a purchase. I'll be donating these pants. Glad they were only $14.

We purchased our daughter several pairs of jeans for her to try on at home because the fitting rooms are still closed due to Covid (2 years later). When I went back to return the ones that didn't fit less than an hour later, I was told they don't do returns either.

I purchased 2 pairs of jeans a week ago. Tried them on at home due to fitting rooms still closed to Covid-19 (2 years ago). I took tags off and washed them. After washing them realized one pair had a hole just under the belt loop. The other seems alright still so as I put them on the whole zipper broke off! I went in about a week later (after purchase date) to explain what happened they said they can't return them at all cuz tags were taken off. I normally always buy my Jean from here but I will not be anymore. The lady upfront was rude and didn't even say sorry for the inconvenience just look at me with a blank face till I walked away.

Tip for consumers:
Jeans are bad quality easily breakable to holes and broken zippers!

I purchased 3 items, only 2 arrived. The refund took weeks. I will never give these people my money ever again. The deals are nice, sure, but it's not worth the terrible service. Also, one of the dresses I received is so poorly made it's actually hilarious. The material is paper thin, to the point where you can see my bra and cleavage through the fabric. So now I have a $20 dress that is literally unwearable in public. I should've returned it, but I figured the hassle would be too great. I gave up on Charlotte Russe, and you should too.

I generally don't review websites that I order from just because they are all average. This website is absolutely amazing to order from though! I can never find what I want in store at Charlotte Russe so I order online from them all of the time and the shipping time is incredible! I literally will make an order one day and by the end of the day I get an email saying the product has shipped and it arrives 3 days later. This is at standard shipping, mind you, and that is just unheard of to me! (I usually wait at least a week if not more than that from other sites) I will continue shopping online from their website for sure!

Worst website ever. Cant even send an email to complain. I ordered a gift card on the 6 of december, have not received it yet, also was supposed to be free shipping over 65 dollars, and they charged me. They keep changing the delivery dates, and they didnt sent it out until the 15. Crappy all around.

This site is crap. On Sunday I bought a dress to wear for Thanksgiving, which was on a Thursday. I spent 17.99 for 2 day shipping. That night I got an email, saying it shipped, with an estimated delivery of the 23rd. Awesome! Will definitely be here in time. Nope! Thanksgiving has come and gone, still no dress. I spent double the price of the dress for nothing. They obviously never paid the money to have it here in two days. False advertisement. I emailed them and asked for a refund for the shipping, and every response I got was totally incompetent and they totally beat around the bush. Long story short, I'm not getting my refund. Other sites would never treat their customers this way. Never buying from here again. Hope it was worth losing a customer who would have ended up spending hundreds, all over $18.

I've been shopping here for a couple of years now, and you can find some really great pieces. The shipping has always been on time, and there's only ever been one mistake- a missing item, but that was taken care of really quickly. About an hour after emailing customer service I got a reply, and the item was reshipped with no extra cost or some crap like that. It was really easy to take care of, which is greatly appreciated. If you're more of a quantity over quality person, this place is for you- most of their items are inexpensive, while being pretty decent quality. (That being said, I got some sweaters from here that were really great quality too- extremely soft and durable, while still being affordable)

Highly recommend!

Tip for consumers:
Sometimes the colors are slightly different, but it's never a dramatic difference. Also, some of the shirts may be slightly sheer- especially if they're white. (But that's kind of common at most stores now anyway)

My husband and I went into this store looking for shoes I could wear to a wedding. When I asked for help in find a shoe size one employee asked another employee to help, which in return said she had other things to do. Nether to say both went their separate ways and I was left standing there. I told my husband I didn't have time for foolishness & we left the store. I will not be going back.

I love Charlotte Russe and all their deals. They have so many items online that are not in store. I usually shop the clearance section. Well, their website needs some work. A lot of items when clicked on (usually an item that is on sale that I really want) will say error and it has been twice now that I have had a big order and told after check out/confirmation email that this or that item is out of stock. If it is out of stock, why am I allowed to add it to my bag or even purchase it? The website needs glitches fixed.

Everytime I order dresses from Charlotte Russe, their sizing is inconsistent. I am a petite small girl, and nowhere else I have issues with sizings staying consistent. However, multiple times, the smalls of the dresses I ordered were beyond tight, and this time it was too big. I just don't understand how sizes of clothes of one company could vary so greatly.

Had to return items. Used the return label they provided. Dropped at post office. Box got lost. I called charlotte russe to get tracking number from label they provided me with. They don't know it! So merchandise is just gone. No credit. No one will work with me. Horrible. If they give you the label they should be able to track return. Horrible attitude on the phone. Done with this company.

I needed a pair of shoes in time for an event and they sent me the completely wrong shoes. Didn't even get the size or color right! I called customer service and there was no way for them to expedite them without charging me. That's ridiculous. You're company screwed up and I needed shoes on time! Now they don't even know when the correct pair will come in! AGH

I ordered on 11/28. I emailed to see what the status they said they are working on it. I checked today and my whole order is cancelled. Omg what kind of business is this if they had 0 star this would be an ideal business that don't care about customers.

This is my second time ordering from Charlotte Russe online and none of my experience is good. I ordered two dresses and one sunglasses. It was not shipped until four days later and then there was a delivery exception. I contacted the carriers and without any good answer I contacted CR customer service. The agent was rude and she basically said there was nothing she could do unless the package was returned to them. So now I have to just hope they receive the package and hopefully get my refund. But the agent's rudenesss... will definitely never order from them again.

I have tried for weeks to place orders on their web site and although every other merchant is fine with the 5 different credit cards I tried, they will never accept it. And their customer service folks are of no help. My bank says no problem, but they say it is the bank. They don't seem to want my business.

Being a first time shopper i didnt think that the experience was all that bad. First of all, Charlotte Russe always have sales, but its not all that cheap sale but on the shoes, i do find it reasonable. I bought at least 10 pairs of shoes, and i got them less than a week, they were true to size and looked the exact same as they did in the photos. Sadly, I gave them four stars because shoes would be the only stuff i'd be buying from them, everything else is pretty much expensive.

The site isn't bad, it has good discounts and everything, items arrive on time (sometimes) and in great conditions. I would say that the description is poor but understandable. I like the site, but I'd love if they have more variation in clothing and fashionable stuffs. Again, the site isn't bad, it may be just that for my taste they don't have a lot of variety. But you should try it and see how it works for you.

I am extremely pleased with Charlotte Russe. They have great styles, great prices and the delivery was very quick! It took 4 days from purchase to my home. I haven't had to deal with customer service so I can't comment on that. Very pleased with this company!

I like CR because they have quality clothing and really good selection for plus sizes. I had a %20 off and $10 off $50 coupon code and with my quick thinking I switched the codes around to take $20 off a $50 order! I live in Memphis so its no hassle with returns and with the warehouse being a few miles away shipping is really fast. Only thing is if its transferred to the post office just add another day. Thanks FedEx! I'm sorry but I've never had a bad experience with them. I just wait until there's a sale with free shipping or order enough to get free shipping then take the rest bk and get a refund. You gotta work these retail giants for whatever you can get! And they accept returns after 30 days which is a plus for me because I buy so much, lose interest and forget I even have them. I'm going to return a vDay outfit I never wore this weekend so we'll see how that goes...

Shipping took a little longer than I expected. The quality of jacket I ordered wasn't that great. There were a bunch of loose threads that were hanging out from numerous places and a tiny tear on the front. I guess that's to be expected when you order items on sale. Hope it doesn't fall apart when it's washed. Would never have bought it for original price because quality is $#*!.

I visited this store a few times last several months, purchased nothing. Their is nothing in this store worth buying except some cheap Tee shirt. All the cloths are low end quality, no selection, poor inventory, no refunds, dressing room just opened last week. Some how this store survived the Covid pandemic.Mt advice don't waste your time walking in to this store, you cant return unless it's an exchange theirs nothing else to buy, poor inventory choices.

I had a $100 store credit to Charlotte Russe before they closed. Now, upon announcing their store closings I would've used it, but then they very quickly announced they'd be reopening under the SAME NAME. However, now my store credit is apparently invalid despite it being the same store, and there isn't even a customer service number I can call. I used to love this store, and in return they have robbed a loyal customer.

Reading these reviews, I'm not the only one they're robbing. Stay far, far away from these crooks. They should be sued!

I've ordered other items from Charlotte Russe before and never had any issues. This time, I ordered two pairs of boots as they were buy one pair at regular price, get one for $5. A couple days later, I received an email stating that the one pair of boots had been cancelled. The only reason I was buying the boots was to get the two pairs for reg. Price plus $5. I wish I could have received a voucher or an option to replace the others. Not cool.

I recently purchased really cute boots from the Charlotte Russe website. I usually look at the reviews to online stores that I haven't shopped at before buying but I forgot to do so in this case. I eventually did and I saw many bad reviews and I was very scared that my package wouldn't arrive. It took about four days to ship and another two to leave the office and came to my house about a week or two later. The box was slightly damaged which doesn't bother me and my shoes were undamaged and perfect. I'm really happy with my experience with Charlotte Russe but I highly doubt I'll shop there again because of the many bad reviews.

Charlotte Russe was my favorite place to shop, online and in person, I've bought tons of things from there and visited many different locations, that will now be changing. I ordered two pairs of jeans on clearance for my birthday and I was so excited for them! A WEEK went by, and I received an email informing me that these items are out of stock, which was shocking to me considering I had expected them to have at least been shipped by that time. When an item is ordered, while it is still in stock, it only makes sense that you would receive it. I ordered the items for my bday, not only did I not get them by then, but I didn't get them at all, with no sort of compensation what so ever. It seems this happens to a lot of clients, but they have made no efforts to correct it or change it. I think I'm just going to shop at Torrid from now on.
