I really like this store specifically for crop tops/tops, dresses, underwear, sandals, and jewelry. Been using this site for the last few years and never had any issues except the occasional out of stock product which has always been refunded. They always seem to be having different sales/promotions going on. I've spent anywhere between 6$ (with free shipping) and 100$ on a single order with no problems at all. Nice quality and cute styles! :D
I bought a pair of pants that didn't fit and was told by the sales associate who made my purchase that they didn't do returns just exchanges and store credit. But these pants are poorly manufactured with the lining in the waist and hip leg area and placement of buttons on the pants. One legs of the pants has more room than the other due to the poor sewing quality. I should have read the store reviews before making a purchase. I'll be donating these pants. Glad they were only $14.
I ordered some clothes online recently. I got them when they were expected to arrive, in the right size and color, and without anything damaged. This is the only reason I gave 3 stars. The problem that I have with CR is that the clothes are very flimsy and they clearly charge far more than the garments are worth. There are no reviews on the site, which is very shady to me. It's clear as to why, because one of the items I ordered is shaped so strangely I'm not sure who it would fit. I ordered 3 items, two of which I considered returning, but decided against because it sounds like it would be more trouble than it's worth. I am disappointed in the experience to say the least, and I can't even leave a bad review under the items I didn't like.
Tip for consumers:
Do not order online. The return policy is basically nonexistent, the clothes are not good quality, especially for the price, and there are tons of negative reviews about customer service, sizing, and shipping.

I have ordered from Charlotte Russe online twice now and am pretty pleased with their service. My most recent order was for one pair of plus size, jean, cutoff shorts - Refugee, I think. I ordered them one size up, just in case the shorts ran a little small. I received them today, cute, good fit, a little loose, not to short in length. Four stars due to how long it takes to receive one, in-stock item, that is my only compliant at this point.
Surprised to see all of the bad reviews. I love this company. I check the site everyday because they have great promos. I get most of my shoes from here and I love the extended sizes (xs!) the only thing is they rarely restock items even if they're very popular and in stores sometimes they make you feel guilty if you don't exchange something rather than getting your money back. Also they stopped allowing comments and stopped giving promo codes with every online purchase.
Charlotte Russe stores in malls usually look like indoor garage sales, so I hate shopping in-store. However, I love online shopping at Charlotte Russe. I pick out at least 10 clothing items per order and they always come on time. They quality of their clothes is not the best, but you get what you pay for. For the price, I'm always very satisfied. I have yet to have a bad experience and recommend this website anyone who likes online shopping and trendy stylish clothes!
I ordered a bunch of items at once (about 30) and they all came in one package, very quickly- which is so nice. The only reason they are not getting 5 stars is that they forgot one item (which happens when you order a ton of stuff at once; we're human) but instead of shipping me that one item they had to give me a refund which took about 10 business days (give or take). So now if I want that item I have to reorder it and pay for shipping all over again. I just wish they would've resent it because I haven't been able to find it in their local stores. Aside from that, they had customer service on weekends which responded quickly and kindly and the package was mostly accurate and it arrived fast.
This is the worst online shop that ive tried! I ordered last october 7, and until now my package havent arrived yet, it was stated in their site that i will get my package within 24 business days but until now it havent arrive yet. They have lots of excuses. Ive ordered 12 items worth 208$ including the shipping fee. Im so disappointed. I will never ever order here again
This was my first and last night experience with them... ever. Customer service is terrible, they "have the power to do nothing", they claim their computers are "down" but I believe they just put you in hold for two minutes and come back to you with that claim. No supervisors available. Just horrible. The price could never make up for the aggravation.
Order a bunch of items online 12/19. Selected 3-5 day shipping option. Received an email a few days later saying 3 of my items were no longer in stock. Oddly enough, all three were still listed on the Charlotte Russe website. 3-5 business days rolled around and the rest of my items had not arrived. 1/3, my shipment was finally delivered. 15 days later. Horrible service from a horrible company. Will not be ordering from there again.
This place is the worst place to order online I am never ordering from this store again or even shopping here I place a order called 2 hours later and stated that I use my old address by mistake because I didn't update my paypal and the rep basically just told me I'm s. O. l terrible customer service
This company is terrible with shipping. I placed an order that got delayed because of the presidential inauguration and snow storms... then when I finally received the package about 3 weeks later, the item had a stain on it. I thought maybe it was fluke and did a joint order with a friend. We ordered 13 items in total. The week following the order I got 5 different emails saying that items had went out of stock. I then got a tracking number and it says my package is scheduled to be delivered by tomorrow but it's currently in the "label created" stage. I then got a notification saying it has been delayed due to the Super Bowl and more winter storms. Needless to say, I won't be getting my dress in time for my event.
I tried buying women's clothing for myself from the website. I had a few questions so tried live chatting. Only a male was available to answer my questions. This made me feel uncomfortable, as I am used women being able to help me when I make women's clothing purchases. So I tried calling, twice. Again, only men available to answer my questions and concerns. No thanks. I'm all for gender inclusion, but are there no places left where a woman can feel comfortable buying women's clothes? Also, their website does not seem to be secure. There was no promise of a secure checkout, and that padlock never appeared in the address bar when it came time to pay for purchases. I've never shopped here before and was stopped before I could start.
I love Charlotte Russe and I used to order all the time without any problems. But recently all of my orders have been delayed. I've been waiting almost 2 weeks for my items and it still hasn't shipped. It's such a bummer since I love their clothes. I am hesitant to order again. Purchased dress for my daughter in store; followed washing instructions - hand washed and hung dry and dress shrunk! Contacted store, says can't do anything since washed. Contacted main number, again said to follow washing instructions- hello? The dress was hand washed as stated. All I request is a refund and/or credit but apparently "nothing can be done."
Bought a few articles of clothing from this website for my girlfriend, and they decided to send me 2 of everything and charge me seperate shipping. So i ended up paying 40 dollar shipping and another 20 to send one back. They would not refund. It only showed in my order history that one order was coming. Not 2... terrible experience with them. DO NOT RECOMMEND. 0/10
Don't let all the bad reviews scare you away. No its not top-notch quality, but for the prices it is good clothing. I have ordered from Charlotte Russe nearly every time I get a paycheck, and everything has come exactly as pictured except for one scarf. (It said turquoise but it was more of a green color.) I usually don't find much when I go to their stores, because the store that's an hour away from where I live is sort of small. So I order online. I find the sizing to be true and everything has always went smoothly for me. My packages always arrive within a week from the time I place the order. Another good thing about them is that they have some of the most comfortable heels I have ever found shopping from cheaper stores. I did get a pair that was God-awful, but they did have a really high heel. But I have several other pairs and they have been some of my favorite shoes.
I ordered a good amount of items on this site to receive emails days later saying these items are out-of-stock. The weird part is that these items are still up on the site and has updated the prices since. Why would they update the price if these items are out-of-stock?
I've emailed them a couple of times asking why and no response. Just more emails about "oh these items are out-of-stock". Sucks bc I really liked their clothes but bc of this horrible experience, I'll never shop here ever again!
I absolutely love Charlotte rouse online. They have more deals going on sometimes than in the actual store. Their description and pictures of the clothing are definitely true to their word. I once ordered a short that came in the wrong size and they were quick to resolve the issue without the hassle of trying to pay shipping and handling fees. If you can't make it to an actual store online is worth it!
I wanted to leave the review on the items I purchased by their website doesn't allow for it. I ordered 5 pairs of shoes from their website and only 2 pairs actually fit. All 8.5 but two pairs were labeled 8.5 but fit like a size 10. Literally my husband could've worn them. Another pair fit extremely tight. The other two pairs of 8.5 fit exactly like an 8.5 should. I took them to the store hoping to find the correct size shoes but they didn't have any of the same styles I ordered. I tried on numerous shoes in the store and every pair fit completely different. I wore between a 7 and a 10 depending on what shoe I tried. It was unbelievable! I returned the three pairs that didn't fit without any problem at all they just reimbursed me my money. I will not be buying anything from their website ever again.
I've shopped here for years and never had issues. I've ordered online as well a few times and never had issues until recently. Apparently my package was deemed lost because I never received it however customer service was helpful and refunded my money. I didn't like that I had to fill out a form because I didn't receive anything ever. If I had received a few items I would understand filling out the form to let them know what was missing. Anyway besides that, they were helpful and responder quickly. I still love the store so I will give another last try buying online and hope no more issues like this happen. It's probably better to shop in stores to avoid issues like shipping or wrong sizing because they tend to run small. I usually order up.
Placed an order online 5 days ago. Received order confirmation (in my spam folder). I have yet to receive shipping confirmation but my account was charged. 5 days and still no shipment? Ridiculous. Called customer service over 3 times and the wait time is ridiculous. Over 40 minute wait to speak to someone? Worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Will not order from them ever again.
I used to love CR. The past 2 times I've purchased anything from them, it has fallen apart! Last time I bought 2 pairs of sandals and a shirt. The seams on the shirt came apart after one wear, and both shoes fell apart within a month.
Cute clothes if you only plan on wearing them once and throwing them away. JUNK.
I recently ordered a selection of plus size panties and just after one wash every single pair that had lace on it had holes in it everywhere. It was disappointing since it had already taken so long for them to ship the order out as it was. I will not order from them again.
I ordered 4 pairs of boots off of Charlotte Russe and just got them in the mail today. I am from Canada, so it cost me an arm and a leg for shipping and after the exchange rate I was paying about 40% extra on top of that. I was having the hardest time finding boots, so that is why I finally decided to just go online and pay the crazy exchange rate.
I tried on all 4 pairs and none of them fit, they're all too big. Two of the pairs were Charlotte Russe brand and they were gigantic - they looked about 2 sizes bigger than the size I ordered.
So basically I have to pay to ship them back to return them (this will mean I have lost close to $50 in this whole ordeal and have nothing to show for it). I should have looked at the return policy before buying, but I had hoped they would treat their customers better than that. Super disappointed.
I was so excited to get these booties for the fall that were on sale for such an awesome price and free shipping. I got the package delivered on time but opened it and they sent me someone else's shoes. I live in Texas and somehow they managed to send me someone else's order who lives in Washington?! So sad. They have given me a full refund but a lousy apology and not sort of store credit. I'm usually not the type to ask for things like that but in this case I'm so upset that I didn't get my shoes that were for such a great price.
Horrible customer service and policies. Placed an order that was never received. USPS claimed they left it on the front steps of the apartment building that house over 100 apartments. Charlotte Russe said it is not their problem and they do not require a signature for deliveries. They need to change their policies to ensure that customers are taken care of. The onus is on them to file a claim.
