Not 100% accurate but close enough to make next decisions. I searched a few people that I'm suing and found some assets, homes, that we can add to the judgement.

Unlimited background checks for is a good deal, especially for those that need to run multiple reports. The data is similar to public record services that attorneys use (I am one). It's available for cheaper than the big data provides. I'm happy with my purchase.

Although some of the info. Was accurate, more of it was inaccurate and left out some MAJOR details like, current marriages and existing businesses. Other, basic information that was left out included the location of the individual... and I'm fairly certain they didn't just evaporate into thin air! Also I tried calling them repeatedly, but each time after about a 5 min. Wait, the call was disconnected. Huge waste of my time.

I have a toddler and as a single parent I get a lot of people to watch her. I use checkthem to run a search on everyone before i allow them to watch my child. You never know with all the dangers out there. I found out that her friend's father has 7 arrest records all over the country. I would have never known otherwise so I recommend everyone to check

Paid $44.85 for a phone number for my elderly fathers aunt. They said it was $2.99 trial but when you cancel you get charged $44.85. No refund. Rude customer service.

They charged me over 81 dollars over a 5 day period and then LIED ABOUT IT! I don't know who the person i talked with but, they said "no refunds". They will lie to you and I am sure what they are doing is illegal. Let's sign a petition to end the sitte. Also, the person I talked with was very rude. He said I was charged "additional for features but, said nothing about it. They don't do refunds so don't even try. NEVER sign up for this site. Anyone that says otherwise is probably a drone a drone for the company trying to scam you. Take my advice. Do NOT sign up. Their customer service sucks, they don't do refunds, basically it's a scam. Do not use! This is a complete scam--You think you are paying $2.99 for a report and before you know it, they are charging you $35/month. No report downloaded--completely useless. Rip-off, scam, fraud.

Well it does not tell you in fine print that for you 1st month your gona be charged $60 to just open an account then the money charge. I somehow could not access n e more info than what was given already they can only refund me 1 month they tookout which i can happy at least got something back. But would not try again.

I was suckered as well. They promised that I could opt-out at any time, but then the "opt-out" feature didn't work, no matter how many times I tried to use it. There was no answer at the phone number given, no email address for contact is given, and a few days later they charged me $44.85. I disputed the transaction with my bank and sent a demand letter to CheckThem to cancel my "service" and refund my money.
I'd be surprised if any of the favorable reviews were legitimate - they are probably ginned up by the thieves themselves.

Do not sign up for the " $1-99 " trial with Checkthem. Signed up last night from an ad on Facebook. Looked up my own name. Did NOT sign up or use " Special Features." Within moments another $ 19.37 was taken from my debit card without my authorization or permission. So this morning I called their 800 number to cancel. My account was canceled however the "agent "refused to return the unauthorized $19.97 and then hung up on me. Don't do it. Don't fall for this. It isn't a 2 dollar mistake. It's a $ 23 mistake disguised as a service when it is a huge ripoff SCAM.

Their site is really a big help to me. It helps me to identify the companies that I transact with. If its legit or legal. Nowadays, its really hard to trust someone easily, so you need to be wise sometimes so that you cannot be victimized with illegal idiots around you.

I cancelled my account and they still charged me so i called. I was very polite and he ended up arguing with me saying show me the proof? What proof i cancelled theres nothing more to it. The site sucked everything as invalid.

So, my mistake was not checking the reviews before I clicked on this site and used my bank card to order a background report. The first charge was 2.75 and was supposed to be a basic report. There was nothing on the report. But if I paid 19.99 I could get the full report and I admit I fell for it. Again, no report. I tried to cancel before the deadline so I would not get another fee, but no one ever answered the phone and the website link to cancel did not work. Long story short, I went to my bank and disputed the charges. And my bank has changed my account # and issued me a new card so this unscrupulous company cannot keep reaching into my account and taking money. My advice is to stay away from this company!

I signed up for a one month trial at a discount price ($1).
Then, discovered I had been charged over $40 for something I never ordered. Called. Was told I had signed up for this and was past the free cancellation date (5 days).
Of course by the time I saw the charge, it was past the free cancellation date.
The rub is I pay close attention to what I sign up for. I know I didn't sign up for a $40+ membership. And I know my way around a website.
They would not reimburse me.
To charge me for something I never knowingly signed up for, they must be deceptive in their website set-up and fraudulent in their intent & practices.

Started with "free trial" and cancelled immediately. 5 days later was charged $45. Went on and cancelled again, 1 month later charged $45. Called several times and got voicemail stating closed and need to call back during office hour (it was office hours). Finally sent an email stating what happened and requested a refund. I was told I agreed to terms and conditions so I was being charged. I told them I had went on and cancelled twice and still not cancelled. They said "show prof you cancelled ". How the hell do u show prof? I hit the cancel button! I finally was told I would get a refund for one month. We will see.

My card was fraudulently used for this service i have tried to call numerous times and have sent email. Phone says no agents avalible and hangs up. No response on email. 104.00 was charged on my card. 34.52 x3 im filling a police report against this bussiness.
