I bought two Chill Well ac units, when they arrived, I opened the boxes and unpacked the products. I used the instructions provided and activated the unit. One immediately began leaking water and the other unit did not cool at all. I attempted to contact the help desk via email. No return email. I tried to call the company help desk and the number was bogus, never rang, no answer, no message option. I looked at the return policy and if you open the package, you cannot return the units. BUYER BEWARE! Do not get caught with worthless ac units like I did. JUNK!

I was 'that guy', bought 3 of these. Web says wet filter, fill with water charge, then turn on. DID ALL THAT!
What web site does not tell you is that they won't t cool down a space with water alone. MUST WET & FREEZE FILTER! SHOULD USE ICE COLD WATER! SHOULD USE ICE CUBES IN TRAY!
Like i said, AVOID AT ALL COST. RETURN POLICY IS A FRIGGIN' FARCE!
So in essence, I PISSED AWAY OVER $200 on a product that does not do as specified on the web site,
AGAIN, TOTAL RIP-OFF STAY AWAY.
