I am currently in a VERY BAD abusive relationship, ALL TYPES OF ABUSE. I am constantly being surveillanced and when he begins to hit or drag me around by my hair in front of my 2yr old, he turns my phone off so I can't reach out for help, he smashed 2 phones he found because I'm not allowed to have a phone that he can't control. Anyway, I was getting beat up and then was thrown in the chair and told to stay. The second he left the room, I ran out the door and called Milwaukee police. I stayed outside while waiting because I didn't want our 2yr old seeing anymore than she already has, he's not LEGALLY her father btw. They came and could see that I was pretty messed up and obviously we had a PHYSICAL event. So I told them that he has warrants and is a felon but has a gun in the house and I just want them to take him away. It would have given me enough time to get a restraining order at least. Well, simply because he refused to unlock the door and stood at the door talking his talk, because he studied law all the times he was locked up, he even told one of the officers to take his badge off so he could beat the f**ck out of him, so another sign of violence. But because he wouldn't unlock the door and let them in they told me that since I was already outside away from danger and since my baby was in no immediate danger (he is her father but was never proven to be so he has 0 rights to her) that they could see that they were just going to leave the baby with him and take me somewhere safe for the night! So I'm trying to escape this MISERY and I call the police, who I've been told my whole life, they are here to help... Well they actually made it 100x's worse because the next day I NEEDED to come home and then I get home and got my $#*! BEAT and raped because, how dare I bring the police to HIS house! So I honestly don't have ANYONE to help me escape B4 He kills me and the police did nothing but make it worse... My biggest problem with the whole situation though, I cannot believe that they left my 2yr old at the house with the man who 1 has no legal rights to her but 2 they left her with him because she was in no immediate danger they could see. So basically he needed to be beating her or even kill her for them to care enough to help us escape with our lives. The police are no solution I learned the hard way but they just make the abuse worse as well as they leave a 2yr old with a man yelling at the cop that he's going to beat him up into a coma! THEY LEFT HER HERE! I WANT TO SUE THEM FOR MAKING IT SO MUCH WORSE AND ACTUALLY CAUSING ME TO GET BEAT UP WORSE AND THEN RAPED TOO! If ne1 has any ideas about this please please chime in. Any type of help or advice is extremely appreciated!
