We've used this service from Glasgow to Edinburgh Airport and back a few times, and the same problems have been evident. The first is the drivers claiming that they don't have change to give passengers who want to pay in cash. We've been over-charged as a result or forced to use a credit card. This is abysmal service on its own.
The second is the drivers' attitudes, which I've found to be consistently rude, abrupt and unhelpful when it comes to dealing with foreign passengers, and more amenable with Scottish passengers (we're Scottish).
Lastly, the service is £15.60 for a 50 minute one-way trip. This is a rip off by anyone's standards. A 3 hour train journey in Poland - who's prices are now on par with the UK - costs £10; bus services equivalent to Citylink are a fraction of the cost and better quality with no attitude problems from drivers.
On all three of these points I would not recommend Citylink bus services for any reason.
