I made an appt with a gastro doctor for a colonoscopy and canceled because I found a different doctor I wanted to see. In the meantime I needed a new prep and let someone know I do not do well with GOLITELY and that I also cannot swallow pills. They said they would help me figure it out and I just recently received a message in my chart giving me directions for a different prep that takes miralax and dulcolet, which are PILLS that cannot be chewed. So I had to call someone AGAIN to let them know that I CANNOT take pills and if they had no other options I would have to go back to the GOLITELY and do the best I could with it. I kept getting changed to people I was talking to. I was put on with Doctor Kirbys office 2 or 3 different times. I DID NOT dial this number myself. People who answered my call were changing me over to these numbers. Doctor Kirbys nurse was very rude. She was blaming me for changing my mind with the preps. I changed my mind ONE time with the doctor I was going to and then asked if I could have a different prep other than GOLITELY stating that I CANNOT take pills. They missed or ignored the pill part. This woman who I talked to was telling me it was MY fault because I kept changing my mind. I told her she was not going to put it off on me. She called me back and said the doctor who ordered the prep was not going to put in another prep scrip and Doctor Kirby was not going to put in a prescription order. She let me know that the gastro doctor does not put in orders and that since I was changing my mind all the time (LIE) I would have to go to my GP for the scrip. I had already told her my GP's nurse already told me that he does NOT put in for prep scrips. So basically what this wonderful woman did was leave me high and dry with no way to get the prep. WOW.thank you for NOTHING! LEARN to be NICE!
